it took them 2 yrs and 7 months to come up with this drama... when i saw this drama i had the feeling that it was meant for the korean audience and i was right... their main target was the korean audience and that explains why this show wasnt on netflix...
That’s a disappointment, I want to see Korea break that mold. They introduce homosexual characters in “prime…
they do show homosexual characters like even in strong woman do bong soon it was clearly indicated that the project head was gay and there was a gay character in record of youth... but they rarely show love story b/w them as lead characters... if i remember correctly then in comeback ahjussi the guy trapped in the girl's body started to get physically attracted to guys even though he still had feelings for his ex-gf... in mr.queen there are two souls in inside the FL and the male soul might also starts getting attracted to the king... we never know... its only been 2 episodes...

its a prime time drama and korea seems to have strict broadcasting laws... after what happened with backstreet rookie i can understand if kdramas play it safe...
i tried watching go princess go just to see how similar mr.queen is to GPG... i dont know what the hell i saw... was that a parody drama because half of the things dont make any sense and even the comedy wasnt that good except very few... the FL was really gorgeous and her acting was also decent... thats literally the only thing i liked... i think mr.queen only took the outline of the story and its not a true adaptation and i am more than happy that they did it like that... i laughed way more in just 1 episode of mr.queen than 18episodes of GPG...
Yep, both KJH and SHS are getting equally praised for their roles. I don't see why some people are assuming that…
one of my main reasons to watch mr.queen is kjh apart from the impressive trailer and teasers... i am not that familiar with shs as i have only seen angle's last mission which i dropped half way through but i liked her acting in it... i have liked kjh since school 2017...
They shouldn't have deleted all those scenes esp Yeon hugging little rang and Yeon and Jiah's child...
I totally agree with what happened with Lee rang...
I guess the drama did so well in Korea than international is because Koreans know the folklores and the makers didnt had to explain each and every scenes... International fans won't be able to connect everything together that easily...
its a webseries and not airing on any channel... its kind of like an experimental thing... short drama format...
I don't know if there is a s2 with the same cast because the news was always about 12episodes with 30mins length... The drama is supposed to have other seasons but don't know if it's with the same cast or not... The drama was supposed to air on Dec 8th but got postponed due to covid and hault in shoot...
I couldn't understand the romance tag... Is there gonna be romance between leads? What do you think?Honestly I…
it seems like there will be romance... flower of evil and tale of the nine tailed were released on august and october and both were good dramas esp foe... 18 again was also good...
i didnt know they were close offscreen as well... its a good thing because they will be comfortable onscreen...

the wardrobe seems to be a fusion of both modern and traditional clothing...

i dont know how netflix picks kdramas that airs on tv or what are the criteria...
wish this was on netflix... it deserves more popularity...
