I was 99% sure who the ML was and I am fully prepared for the Endgame as well but I still don't like the story of the drama... I only started watching this to know what is all the fuzz about the show...
Wrong example Shahrukh Khan dies in the end of that movie
Popularity of an actor only helps in the initial pull of the show and only makes audience watching the first 2 episodes... If the story is not good then everyone will drop it... A good example will be melting me softly... Ji chang wook can only bring the initial pull with his star power but it's the story that makes the audience stay... It's the same for Njh and Suzy... They can only bring in the audience for the initial episodes and start up didn't had any increase in rating and is still in 4-5% rating which is quite avg for a prime time weekend show... Even tale of the nine tailed which airs at 10.30 on weekdays have 5+% rating and that drama only has Lee dong wook.. the writer is new and the director is also not very famous and the rest of the cast are also not crowd pullers.. Extraordinary you had new comers in it with no star power but managed to gain immense popularity domestically and internationally due to its good direction and script writing esp in the first half... 18 again is considered to be among the best dramas of this year and don't have a single hallyu star in it... Infact Lee do Hyun is getting noticed for his acting in that drama... The writer and director plays a bigger role at making the audience stay for the drama... If this drama didn't create buzz because of the fanwar and team dosan vs team hjp then it would have had a silent run like record of youth.. the story is more flawed and has more loooholes than record of youth...

Even though many started watching it because of Njh or Suzy or the writer a lot of people stayed for him and he overshadowed everything else in the drama with his flawless acting( thanks to the lousy writing and too much plot holes and under developed main lead characters)... He got signed as a second lead but his character became more popular than the male lead... I would say he was lucky to get cast in a drama with a meaty role by a well known writer and director rather than saying he is lucky to be cast along with Suzy and Njh... He already worked with much more established actors like jo Jung suk, moon geun young and has a very successful theater career...

So true... He is always on point with his expressions and he was this good even in strongest deliveryman which is his 2nd drama... He was already well polished before he started doing dramas... No wonder he already had a successful theater career... To top it he has the good looks that is needed in kdramas... Dimples are always a weakness for everyone...

He got want he wanted and that was taking away everything the villian took away from his family... At the end kajol was crying for srk more than her father... They make changes in the script but I don't think they will change the lead pairing... When hjp- become popular instead of giving more hjp-dalmi scenes they reduced his screentime and added more dodal scenes... In this case I think the changes were to sideline hjp- as much as possible

The only change they did after hjp- become popular is decreasing his screen time and writing random scenes of dodal to make audience like them more... Kdramas have a fixed male lead and female lead... They won't chance that no matter how popular second leads get... The makers sign contracts with the actor's agency..

Just for closure there will be an emotional dalni hjp- scene where she will tell him she is thankful to him but she loves sosan 4. Chulsan and saha will also become official 5. Hjp- and dosan will patch up and starts being close 6. Injae will meet grandmother as seo injae... 7. Tarzan will be successful 8. Dosan will propose to dalmi and she will say yes... 9. if the makers have an ounch of sympathy towards hjp-, there will be a cameo of some well known actress as a potential love interest for hjp-...
They are bullying those who think JP is main lead..haha
I don't really want hjp- to end up with dalmi at this point as there is no development there but the overall story itself is so flawed and has so many loopholes... Last writing is written all over the drama... The leads have no real character development and except for the drama having the name startup, there is no real startup based story going on in the show... Record of youth atleast managed to have 8+ rating with an avg storyline... This one couldn't even do that...
