i normally ask any of the people i have private conversations in mdl about a show and i only exchange messages with 3-4 people... unfortunately none of them watched untamed and i had no other option but to go to the comment session.. ( i didnt know there was this option of feed until i downloaded the mdl app a week ago) i mostly use mdl site from my laptop...

if a highschool pass out can get a ceo position that too in the IT field in a highly competitive society like south korea then obviously anything could happen...
if dalmi says she wants a flying elephant dosan will successfully make a flying elephant...

i have been in the comment session of iotnbo from the start and everyone were busy analyzing and over analyzing the drama very delicately and nobody commented on it to surpass untamed... more than 90% of the comments were solely the discussion of the drama and nothing else...
now untamed is one comment session that cannot handle any sort of criticism... i went there just to clear my doubts regarding the drama as it was my first wuxia drama and i wrote a review on the review session and didnt bring up any of those in the comment session but the over sensitive fans of that show brought up all the points i didnt like which i wrote in my review into the comments were i solely asked about the doubt and started debating over it as if anyone who dont appreciate every single aspect of that drama dont have any taste in dramas... they didnt care for the fact that i actually liked the story and gave it a 9 and every other good things i said about the drama...

roy is boring but realistic whereas startup is boring, illogical and unrealistic...
the ML and FL made it big on their own without anyone favoring them in roy whereas all of dalmi's acheivements are directly or indirectly connected to the other 3 main characters... she made it solely based on her luck than her own talent...

mdl dont have any toxic comments against the actors here... majority of the people only have problem with the characters and weak story line rather than the actors playing those characters... almost everyone is sensible enough to differentiate the actor and character... also dosan dont even get half the unwanted criticism some female characters get... some even had problem with the FL of flower of evil which has one of the best written fl in kdrama history... compared to that dosan isnt even a well written character in this drama itself... so obviously he will get criticized...

iotnbo also has 18k+ comment but majority of it is praising the show, its characters and the acting of the cast... i guess not even 10% comments will be criticizing the drama...

i personally find ksh to be way more good looking than njh.. that smile and those expressions are killer... the only thing i like about njh better than ksh is his well built body...
i think its quite disrespectful to say someone else likes a particular character just because of the actor's looks... i also liked dosan till ep 4-5 and would have still liked him if they didnt forcefully tried to make everyone like dosan with bad writing and sabotaged dalmi's character in the process..

even though its boring its not unrealistic... the FL made a practical decision for both of them and wasnt noble idiocy... they both were people who dont hold grudges and can move on quickly so it perfectly make sense if they just stay as good friends even after breakup and meeting after a long time... there relationship was also not shown to be intense or extremely deep... they may or maynot get back together...
roy was a boring slice of life drama with some of the celebrity controversies being exaggerated but it wasnt really unrealistic like startup with too much loopholes...

he looks so much like suho in his esquire photoshoot... his looks were almost same as suho's solo album look...
ksh is like a taller suho with dimples...

i started watching the drama after ep 10 so i wasnt part of it when it started and i am not on twitter where everything starts...
after watching the drama all i can tell is i know why kim seon ho is getting all the attention for playing hjp and why hjp overshadows everything else in the drama... apart from that i didnt even know that the actors were being bashed until someone bought it up here...

lee dong wook is a popular actor but his popularity is not bigger than putting njh,suzy and the writer's popularity together... ldw was the only crowd puller in totnt (kim bum also has some contribution but he is only well known and dont have much star power)... also totnt had the disadvantage of its timeslot and weekday airing but it still managed to have the same or at times slightly higher rating than startup which airs at prime time on weekends... totnt is also not some amazingly writer drama but it survived solely because of the story and the actors rather than creating buzz due to fanwar...

i watched wlfkbj 3 yrs ago and i didnt even know the names of the leads when i watched it and rated it in mdl... i watched bride of habaek solely because of my familiarity with the male lead... i rated wlfkbj low because apart from a well written male lead and some super hilarious scenes it didnt had anything else... when i watched wlfkbj i was new to kdramas and i used to finish dramas with in a go... it was the only drama at that time i finished watching just for the sake of finishing it and took a week for finish( i normal finish dramas in a day or two)... wlfkbj definitely didnt had better acting than startup... out of the dramas i have seen of njh he did the best acting in start up and i have seen 3 dramas with him as lead and 2-3 dramas in which he played supporting roles...
also if i hate the acting of an actor i simply dont watch their dramas... i do that with lee min ho and park shin hye dramas... i dont even bother to check out the trailers as 2-3 dramas of them were more than enough for me to stay away from rest of their works... i am fine with watching movies with park shin hye in it but wont watch a drama with her as the lead...
i dont hate the acting of njh but i wont say he is a strong actor... he improved a lot and by now can do justice to the characters he gets but he still gets easily overshadowed heavily by a better actor... he dont really have an immense screen presence... i wont check out a drama solely because of him but i wont stop myself from watching a drama because of him either... its like he won't be a decision-making factor for me to choose a drama... i have neutral feelings for him... its the same for me for more than half of kdrama actors... there are only 4-5 actors that i will check out a drama solely because of them...

for me even if the 1% chance come true and dalmi ends up with hjp ( which at this point wont even make sense and i am not even rooting for a hjp-dalmi ending) i wont rate this drama more than 7 solely because of the inconsistency and loopholes in the drama... no matter how good the last 2 episodes are it wont make up for the rest of the bad writing.... i only enjoyed this drama in the first 4-5 episodes and i even liked dosan and wondered why he was getting so much criticism... but the writing and the characterization of both dosan and dalmi went down from ep 7-8.. i continued watching this drama without dropping simply because i liked being in the comment session and wanted to see hjp...

i wont say that everyone is watching or started watching this drama because of ksh/hjp but after a certain point majority continued watching it for him and just to see how his story ends which is true considering his sudden rise in popularity...
i started watching this drama after ep10 aired and i watched it solely to see whats all the buzz about and not for any of the actors even though i liked kim seon ho's acting in 100 days my prince and was familiar with njh's other works...

I find most of the hyped kdramas boring... The only excepts are goblin and swdbs and that has to do with the cast and their acting rather than the overall storyline... The central romance of goblin was boring but everything else were top notch... Esp goblin and grim reaper...I dropped dots, love in the moonlight, lotbs and lot more popular kdramas...
Wlfkbj has below average acting and an average storyline.. the only thing I found different was that the ML was very supportive of the FL and her career and liked her just the way she is which was rare in dramas of that time... In the relationship the FL had the upper hand..

With that hairstyle he looks so much like exo suho... He is making me miss suho even more...
He has such amazing smile and laugh... He speaks really well and gives credit to everyone...

I watched wlfkbj back in 2017 and still don't get the buzz around it... Sure it had some really hilarious scenes and a decent non-arrogant male lead but after a couple of episodes its a drag fest... Wlfkbj is among the dramas i finished watching just for the sake of it...
I watched that drama without knowing the ML or FL...

So true... The entire first episode was completely based on hjp and dalmi's childhood... Everyone started liking him from the first ep itself... Untill ep 5-6 most of the audience were fine with dosan as well including me but then don't know what happened... Everything came crumbling down... Dosan started being rude to hjp just because of dalmi when hjp was trying to be nice to him... I remember how hjp was trying to have a normal conversation with dosan and when he took one of dosan's candy he just right out started behaving like hjp took his toy or something... That was such an out of character behaviour from living Buddha...

Also when hjp started being popular instead of giving more depth to dosan and dodal relationhsip, the makers simply reduced the screentime of hjp and put forceful dodal scenes out of the blue... In all this dalmi's character suffered...

I am pretty sure the letters were swept under the rug because the makers didn't want to show more hjp-dalmi scenes...

The pinkvilla site might have even more considering the population of India and pinkvilla is a famous bwood gossip site...

The ratings settle only after the drama finish airing... I remember record of youth maintaining an 8.5 rating throught out it's run and then dropping to 7.6 in minutes after the last episode

A poll in an Indian site which was about who is the favorite character with all the 4 of them and hjp still won with a 70+ voting... That poll wasn't even about dodal vs jidal or dosan vs hjp... It was just about who the fav character is and hjp won win a huge margin...
