she is a ceo in a specified field like IT which is right now the most competitive field in the world and korea…
the thing is dalmi is a weakly written character and most of her actions are unrealistic... her character is being criticized not just because she is a college dropout but her lack of knowledge about everything and being a dreamer when she cannot afford it... do you think steve jobs or mark zuckleberg would have made it big if they strated with a non-profitable project? do you think steve jobs would have been steve jobs if he took decisions like how dalmi took? her financial condition is not so terrible that she have to work around the clock to make a living... she can easily take online classes or go to a library and self study... she was never shown to have the desire to make it big until she saw her rich and successful sister... it looked like she wanted to make it big to beat her sister rather than for herself or to make her father's dream come true...
you are the one that is being extremely ignorantand writing crap if you think getting a job is the same around the world... even for a government job in my country a highschool graduate cannot get promoted to a higher post and exams for a highschool graduate and a college graduate are different and the kind of posts they get is also different... a college graduate can directly get into an officer post whereas a highschool graduate needs to start with a clerical job and wont have to clear more exams to get promoted to an officer job which will take years... it might be worst in korea considering it is a highly capitalized society...
she is a ceo in a specified field like IT which is right now the most competitive field in the world and korea…
exactly... whats the need of dropping out from college if she isnt gonna get that huge amount of money back? from all the college based dramas i have seen its made pretty clear that students can take a semester leaves in b/w and then comeback... she could have took a semester leave make money for grandma and then went back to college... dalmi basically wasted more money than she made and she wants to run a business...
At this point we all need to take this series as the fluff that it is with a sprinkle of following this set group…
i agree on the over analyzing part... this drama isnt deep enough to scratch your brain over every single scene... its not directed by Christopher nolan...
youre all missing my point. nowhere have i talked about her mindset or the decisions shes made, i simply think…
she is a ceo in a specified field like IT which is right now the most competitive field in the world and korea is one of the most technically advanced countries in the world... she isnt into import export or selling food items or setting up a resturant chain... if she was the head of any of this then yes a college degree isnt necessary and only marketing skills are necessary... she got ceo post in a field where she dont know a single thing... if you have seen in some scenes she dont understand what the guys are talking about and she needed to google it... its a field where everyone who is involved needs to be up to date about whats going on in the IT field around the world... she is never shown to be interested in that field or shown doing research over it... her grandmother has been running a corn shop all her life and it gives her enough money to look after herself... infact she was even capable enough to look after her son and her granddaughter... dalmi and her grand mother is not poor enough to work all the time to feed themselves... also where is the logic that grandma sold her shop for dalmi's university and dalmi dropped out from the university to buy a truck for her grandma? thats like the dumbest thing ever... dalmi could have managed college if she did part time job.. its not like she needs to feed grandma and look after the entire household... there are more than enough dramas that shows people poorer than dalmi with an entire family to look after finishing college... grandma is an independent woman and didnt need any kind of help from anyone until she started going blind... leave everything... look at HJP... he was a 17 yr old orphan with little money in his hands and he made it to college and even ended up being super rich on his own simply because he had the desire to make it big... his financial condition was way worst than dalmi's... he made money on his own and went to college... dalmi also had grandma to give a helping hand for her the same way hjp had...
now 3 yrs later... she now knows how things works but she still dont have the right attitude to be a ceo and still cannot separate personal and professional life... she looked down on her own company which by the way is going to lauch automatic cars and behaved as if her company is not worthy enough to get 3 guys who worked at silicon valley...
she is succeeding with her plans solely because she is the female lead of the show and nothing else...
people go through the comments and not just look at the number of comments and if anyone looks at the comments then it will have reverse effect on suzy and njh... lol those 18k comments on iotnbo talks about how good the drama is and not how disappointed everyone is with the drama... so those 18k comments is still higher than the 20k comments here...
i guess the last scene was just to create a curiosity among the audience and for fan service... i dont think this…
they didnt show her getting back to normal.... it might be a temporary thing or the mountain god who owns the mirror for real might have brought her back.... her husband is also powerful and she is the sister of a higher god... its not that hard to bring her bacl to normal...
What a useless thing to nit pick .... NDS was their leader for 3 yeara in silicon valley .... so all three are…
I guess sst decided not to have a company and work as engineers so automatically yongsan isn't a ceo anymore... He atleast as a ceo had the common sense to go an consult somone with experiance instead of blindly accepting the offers that came their way...
im on ep11 of strongest deliveryman and i keep comparing it to start up. like "oh this is what it feels like to…
Dude I watched it 2-3 days ago and I had the same thoughts and I even expressed it in here... A bunch of delivery boys know how to run a business better than 3 engineers, a lawyer and an aspiring ceo... Even kim seon ho's character who had zero interst in business had the common sense to take classes on how to run a business whereas dalmi- never even tried anything like that eventhough she wanted to fulfil her father's dreams since she was young...
I loved the bickering scene b/w jiah and rang in the last episode... They both were competing on who got more from Lee Yeon... Lol They were like 2 kids debating over who the mother loves more...
I feel like they counted on NJK's popularity way too much... That we would root for him no matter what like "hanw…
Even kim seon ho seems to be surprised with his sudden rise in popularity... He also didn't expect his character will overshadow the entire drama... Now I am convinced his role and his scenes with dalmi was cutoff as damage control by the makers... His screen time was drastically decreased after ep5-6 then how the letters were swept under the rug and how they didnt show the 3yr leap properly etc proved it... If they took 10mins to show what happened in those 3yrs its obvious they will have to show more dalmi-hjp scenes...
I hope he gets edgier, and more dramatic work after this. He has this untapped potential imo. I can see him leading…
I want to see him in a drama with the writer and director of reply series and hospital playlist... He can fit into the cast of hospital playlist kind of dramas
Also some of u here need to stop looking down on seo dalmi for being a college drop out. yes college NOT Highschool,…
The show is set in South Korea and not in the west... It is a very competitive society and even college graduates have it hard...Here we have dalmi- who is a highschool graduate and did nt do anything for more than 10yrs suddenly leaves her job to start a business and everything is set for her by everyone around her... She magically becomes the ceo of an IT company and she has zero knowledge about anything related to that...Do you think she would have gotten into sandbox without sst guys choosing her... Dosan wouldn't have chosen her if she was a random girl he met at sandboxInjae wouldn't have given her the job if she wasn't injae's sisterHjp wouldn't have given extra attention to her if he didn't had a soft corner for her...She couldn't bring a single investor for noongil with her own ability... At the end they got one because of blackmailing...then she along with dosan sold out the entire company within a day...she didn't even had the common sense to consult anyone experienced... If she wasn't comfortable with hjp she could have gone to the ceo lady... None of the sst were even willing enough to admit that they are new to this field so they need guidence... Sandbox is created for this purpose and they screwed up by being inside sandbox...Do you think any company who knew what happened to sst would hire a ceo who signed a contract without properly looking? Injae hired her because she told how injae is similar to their father...With her ability she is best at being a sales manager and not a ceo... She don't have a single ability to run a company on her own... after 3 yrs she isn't even confident in her own company and thinks it's not worth the sst guys... Her company is trying to build an automatic car and she still think a bunch of engineers who worked at silicon valley is too big for her company...It's been 3 yrs and she still makes emotional decisions for her company...
After having read a lot of JPxDM theories, parallels, details, and possible endings, has anyone got anything for…
They have forced lovey dovey scenes They hold hands They kissed They went on a date They broke up in the name the name of noble idiocy They both stalk each other on the internet 3 yrs later They both still have feelings for each other
Typical kdrama lead things...
They don't need any parallels or coincidences... Everything is shown crystal clear to us ..
Can we all (not you HJP haters) appreciate KSH’s acting and genuine effort put forth in his role, for example,…
It makes me really happy when actors gets popular for their amazing acting skills rather than their physical appearance... This year both ksh and lee do Hyun got noticed mostly for their acting skills even though they both are good looking... I am rooting for both of them to get good projects in the future...
thank god he didnt invest in sst or else those guys will make paper plains with his hard earned money....
her character is being criticized not just because she is a college dropout but her lack of knowledge about everything and being a dreamer when she cannot afford it... do you think steve jobs or mark zuckleberg would have made it big if they strated with a non-profitable project? do you think steve jobs would have been steve jobs if he took decisions like how dalmi took?
her financial condition is not so terrible that she have to work around the clock to make a living... she can easily take online classes or go to a library and self study... she was never shown to have the desire to make it big until she saw her rich and successful sister... it looked like she wanted to make it big to beat her sister rather than for herself or to make her father's dream come true...

dalmi basically wasted more money than she made and she wants to run a business...
she got ceo post in a field where she dont know a single thing... if you have seen in some scenes she dont understand what the guys are talking about and she needed to google it... its a field where everyone who is involved needs to be up to date about whats going on in the IT field around the world... she is never shown to be interested in that field or shown doing research over it...
her grandmother has been running a corn shop all her life and it gives her enough money to look after herself... infact she was even capable enough to look after her son and her granddaughter... dalmi and her grand mother is not poor enough to work all the time to feed themselves...
also where is the logic that grandma sold her shop for dalmi's university and dalmi dropped out from the university to buy a truck for her grandma? thats like the dumbest thing ever...
dalmi could have managed college if she did part time job.. its not like she needs to feed grandma and look after the entire household... there are more than enough dramas that shows people poorer than dalmi with an entire family to look after finishing college... grandma is an independent woman and didnt need any kind of help from anyone until she started going blind...
leave everything... look at HJP... he was a 17 yr old orphan with little money in his hands and he made it to college and even ended up being super rich on his own simply because he had the desire to make it big... his financial condition was way worst than dalmi's... he made money on his own and went to college... dalmi also had grandma to give a helping hand for her the same way hjp had...

its not like he is going to go against whatever dosan says...
their startup business seems like a fantasy....
