Chemistry, plot, characterization everything was below average

i dont see any chemistry b/w dodal and if they had chemistry then i would have rooted for them even if i liked hjp...
acting and chemistry b/w the leads are the most important things for me... even if the story has some flaws but the leads have amazing chemistry and are good actors then i will just give a blind eye to those flaws... strong woman do bong soon is my fav drama solely due to this reason... it had good actors with amazing chemistry and a lot of heart warming and meaningful romantic scenes...

the main reason why majority of the people started rooting for hjp is because of how badly written dosan is as a character...

its human nature but not for someone who is called living buddha...
manipulation, continuous lying and self victimization is not what buddha stands for...

kang haneul from when the camellia blooms, kim soo hyun from iotnbo and ji chang wook from backstreet rookie, lee jong gi from flower of evil, are what is called 'not your typical kdrama male lead'... the first 3 didnt even had anything special to brag about themselves and was living a very ordinary life... these guys were accepted and loved by the audience... kang haneul's role even made him win numerous awards...

dosan dont belong to the 'not your typical kdrama lead'... he is shown to be a super genius( more like a gifted child), didnt succeed for 2 yrs solely because of his own lack of incompetency and nothing else.. it wasnt like dalmi's father who knew what he was doing and had a clear plan and trying hard to make it but was unlucky... dosan and his friends were simply siting at an office wasting money of his parents and just coding expecting an investor will come and magically help them out... after the time jump he is exactly like a typical kdrama lead...

it might be possible considering ksh is getting more popular in korea than internationally... thanks to his variety shows and koreans genuinely appreciate good actors...

i didnt see much chemistry b/w dodal or jidal solely because dalmi was emotionless with both of them... but i think visually she looks better with hjp esp on the bts scenes and ivs... just better not amazing ot good...

if one can become gay like that then half of the male population would have been gay by now...

when park bo gum did a cameo in IC was there any article about it a day before the final episode? i didnt watch ic so i dont know

ya... i guess only iotnbo and foe managed to keep up with the expectations of the viewers...

i have only seen suspicious partner written by that writer and since it was 20 episodes it dragged for 2-3 episodes.. but if we take that away then that drama was really good... esp the chemistry, the villian and the suspense.... it also didnt had bitchy second female leads and even the only bitchy character turned around and ended up being friends with the FL...
i havent watched hello monster but i have only heard good review of that drama... also the director is same as hello monster....
if they manage to cast a good actress and the leads have amazing chemistry like SP then even if the story is above average it will do well...

but there the FL had all the reasons in the world to not give him any chance... he was a complete jerk...
the only thing i liked about his character was the actor's acting... he was the best actor in that drama...

arrange marriage is better than this... atleast you know the entire family before jumping into the pit... lol

or be the bestman at their wedding since dosan and hjp are back to their bromacing stage...

i would rather see kim seon ho wasting his time by looking into vacuum than see him being part of anything related to startup...
i just hope he gets a drama with the reply series writer and director...

hotel del luna still made sense even though the flashback love story had more depth... no matter how much they loved each other, her love for him ended up killing people she called family... they can never get over it unless they both reincarnate without any memory of their previous life like grim reaper and sunny...

since soop management likes to put their artists together in projects there are high chances of them working together in the future esp in movies...
i just hope i dont have to see nam ji hyun with nam joo hyuk in a drama... i love that girl...

the plot twist was dosan knowing HJP's favorite dish and asking his mother to pack it for HJP...
dosan's hidden love for HJP is the plot twist...

dodal knew each other for just 3 months in which for more than half of the time he was pretending to be someone else, then they break up, separated for 3yrs, then get back together and now dosan is thinking of proposing to her?
its pretty obvious she will say yes and they will get engaged...
what kind of divine love was that...
even the ML of tale of the nine-tailed took more time to propose to the FL for whom he waited for 600yrs... they even dated properly for sometime...
