the writer could have simply shown dalmi making it clear to him that she dont have feelings for him and then 3 yrs later him having a gf and being close friends with dalmi... if they only want reasons to keep dosan and dalmi not to get back together right away, then they could have simply made dosan misunderstanding their closeness and thinking HJP's gf is dalmi...
if a guy confesses to a girl and if she dont like him( even if she dont have a bf) its common courtesy to reject him and draw the line... 365 repeat the year... i guess 2020 had more variety of dramas than other years... kdramas that were good werent the typical cliched kdramas... maybe the reason why some of the famous writer's work didnt get the expected result... best example is startup... this drama belongs to pre 2017 kdrama group...

thats like one of the best kdramas ever... it screams class and standard from the get go... its a slice of life drama so its a bit slow but its worth your time... if you are fine with dramas with no major dramatic over the top scenes and super villians then you will like HP... its more on the subtle realistic side...
i started rewatching hospital playlist and episodes of HP that i already watched seems to be more exciting than watching new episode of startup... i completely forgot grandma was in HP as yoo yeon seok's mother...
