i forgot, i have seen some episodes of busted on netflix and thats solely because of my over for sehun... it had some hilarious scenes though... i guess that is the reason why variety shows have MCs who solely does variety shows like yoo jae seok and kwangsoo... kwangsoo even though acts in dramas/movies his characters are similar to his offscreen personality... for famous actors its hard to keep up with the schedule i guess...

the problem with the character of dosan is he is not well written esp for a male lead... it has nothing to do with him not being the conventional kdrama male lead or a character with flaws because the recent trend in kdrama is to have unconventional and not so macho male leads... dosan is not a different character... he is the type of character that is in trend now... the male leads from when the camellia blooms, its okay to not be okay, backstreet rookies, flower of evil, 18 again etc dont belong to the typical kdrama leads... infact the leads from camellia blooms, iotnbo and BR didnt even had any special or extraordinary talents like dosan...they all were like the ordinary guys without anything special to brag about... none of these characters were perfect and all of them had flaws but they were written and acted in a way that made the audience root for them and accept them with their flaws... then the love story of the lead couple is also without a head or a tail... till now its not shown why dalmi likes dosan or when exactly dalmi started liking the present dosan instead of the dosan in the letters because till the truth of the letters were revealed she like the dosan from the letters more and she even admitted that to her grandma... the base of their relationship is very weak... one fell in love at first sight because of physical beauty and the other under false assumption... also at times their scenes together seem to forced and written just so that the leads will be together on screen... i am perfectly fine with male leads crying and i have seen characters in the above mention dramas crying in situations that normal kdrama male leads wont cry... but the scenes were dosan cries dont have any impact... the emotional depth of those scenes are very shallow... on the other hand whenever HJP cries in front of grandma it comes out as a strong scene because there is depth to the relationship b/w grandma and HJP...
dosan as a character started off well but went downhill as the episode passed and now after the leap its pretty obvious he will have all the qualities of the typical kdrama leads... so his character will no longer have anything different about him...

in MDL nobody said anything bad about any of the actors and never did any personal attack on any of the actors... the character might have gotten some extreme criticism and some might have even used some inappropriate words for the characters of HJP and dosan but no one said anything about the actors... even the name calling is limited to selfish or coward or rude...
also if nam joo hyuk apoloqized for doing dosan on kim hana's radio show then it would have been news by now... i didnt see any article related to it...
i guess private channels dont have enough sponsorship and budget to conduct award functions...
