thats basically because majority of the people here dont find anything other than HJP interesting in the show... how am i suppose to enjoy cheol san and saha when till ep 9-10 she was irritated with him and 2 scenes latter she is having feelings for him to the level she thinks about him for 3 long years and starts hitting on him the moment she saw him... thats absurd esp from a girl like saha... cheol san was shown like those creepy nerd that go after a girl shamelessly even after the girl dont show any interest in him...
the only reason i watch every episode of startup after ep 7-8 is to just participate in this comment session... lol its not even because i just want to finish it for the sake of it like record of youth... atleast in record of youth everyone stayed in character till the end... the male lead in record of youth didnt had a 180 degree character change even after becoming successful and rich... though very predicable and boring he stayed in character till the end.. he is someone that can be called a living buddha... did i watch startup to appreciate all the MLs i found boring... lol
at this point if and if ( talking about the 1% no 0.5% chance) dalmi-hjp ends up together it will be nothing but popular demand and i dont want that... even after 3 yrs they arent exactly close enough for her to even consider him...
what i hate about kdrama love triangle is how they dump down the FL's characterization to drag the love triangle... the FL never says a clear no to the SL and end it then and there... she plays dumb till the end even if the SL makes his feelings obvious or even when he directly say it on their face... they just keep tagging the SL on... making the audience dislike the FL.... on the other hand if the love triangle is b/w 2 girls and a guy then the guy will clearly say no to the SL and the SL will either accept it or tries every trick in the book to get him by hook or by crook(making her the evil character).... why such double standards? why always put the women under the bus? by now dalmi should clearly know HJP's feelings and if she is not interested she should just tell him to move on... he already confessed to her 3 yrs ago and in today's episode he made his intentions pretty clear... is she waiting for him to propose to her officially to turn him down? it would have still made sense if HJP didnt made that confession 3 yrs ago but she clearly knows how he feels...
the drama is supposed to be about dalmi and her accomplishing her dad's dream but she has been anything other than a prop to create a love triangle with 2 guys who otherwise would have had a great relationship... first the makers gave a lame reason to make dalmi a highschool graduate( which is quite irrelevant to the story), then she is shown to diss all of her sister's achievements when she herself haven't done anything to make it big, then she got a ceo post only because of dosan's interest in her... its not just that she dont have educational qualification for that post, she also has zero idea about IT industry, then she got to learn how to be a ceo only because HJP took extra interest in her... any other mentor would have lost it seeing how little she knows about the basics of business, she again got the job at her sister's company because she told about their father's vision... she wouldn't have gotten that job if the head was someone else apart from injae... after all she is the ceo that got fired from her job the moment her company won at the demo day... all dalmi had was confidence and presentation skills which make her only best at being a sale's woman... there wont have been any problem in the story if dalmi was a university graduate who couldnt get any proper job and was trying hard to make it big... the fact that in those 10 yrs she literally did nothing is such a big flaw to her characterization... she could have atleast taken some online courses to know the basic of how to run a business... the show was set in 2016... if 15 yrs ago a 17 yr old HJP can learn things through the net and learn about investment, what was stopping dalmi from pursuing her dream... its not like she had a huge household to look after... her grandma made a living for herself and she was already working part-time...

i think the makers had enough time to end the love triangle before the leap but they just wanted to keep the buzz around... keep the team NDS vs team HJP till the end because thats what is making the show popular... nobody cares about the rest of the things happening in the story anymore... the only good thing thats gonna come out of this show is kim seon ho getting popular and getting apprciated for his acting skills... neither the rest of the cast nor the audience are gonna get anything... lol
the episodes isnt uploaded yet in my country but seeing the comments seems like my predictions are true... kdrama rom-coms have a fixed formula and dont expect it to change... no matter how much the makers say their drama is different or is a youth motivational drama, they will still use the same route that has been going on for years... the male lead and female lead will be fixed from the start unless its reply series( they also have a fixed lead but they still keep the suspense) dont expect any miracle from a kdrama rom-com...

empress ki, k2 and suspicious partner are also good... if you ignore the female lead of k2 then its a pretty decent drama... this one also isnt a bad drama... i only found melting me softy to be bad... everything else were good...
