it wasnt a simple act of violence but the act of the protesters made it into an act of violence.. whats the difference b/w the white police office and the black protesters after the protesters did the same thing the police officer did? the protesters also used violence against innocent people based on their skin color.. how is that not racist and how does it contribute to the BLM? how does vandalising public property going to bring justice to the man who died or help black people?

thats so true.. i have multiple times stated that dreadlocks can be spotted in indian culture for centuries but the ones arguing with me completely ignore it and goes with the slogan that anyone spotting dreadlocks other than black people are racist and ignorant..
i understand if people had problem with the over all get up of DS but majority of them only see the dreadlocks and thats it.. he has dreadlocks so he is racist, the director is racist, everyone associated with the drama is racist and finally conclude by saying the entire show is crap because of the dreadlock..
the actor is clearly dark skinned but people likes to believe its makeup.. isnt it stereotypical to think all kdrama actors have the same complexion?
same argument with SB.. majority of them dont even follow the show or have only seen the first few episodes.. she is a sexual harasser, a bully, an unethical girl and what not..
they make it so obvious that they have already decided to hate on the drama no matter what and the hatred is not because of the storyline..

the fact that people started looting stores and chose violence itself took the focus from the actual thing.. a white person used violence against a black man due to racism and to protest that some black people used violence against white people.. both ended up being racist.. on the side way some people used BLM to gain 5 mins of fame.. like that BLM climbed down the ladder of trending topics.. for the social media warriors BLM was just a trending topic and the new 'in'..
at the start the hongkong protest was doing really well and was going in an ideal way but china being china infuriated the protesters and the protesters got infuriated..

more like she wanted to be ecofriendly and sangin wanted to be juri friendly..

in the last episode he was using MY's car to get to her house.. i was surprised seeing that considering he moved out of her house.. how did he get her car?

people like to blow thinks up and the fact that they are basically faceless and nameless with a computer or a phone as a shield gives them more power to say whatever they want without giving a second thought..
i personally dont care about the rating of a show as long as it is content rich esp when it comes to kdrama because most of them time it dont really affect the story much or get pulled off.. used to care about it when i used to watch indian serials since the channels shut down the show if it dont get good trps but stopped watching serials a long time ago.. i dont get why international fans care about rating in korea.. just because we enjoy a particular show doesnt mean general public in korea will enjoy it and we have no right to criticize their likes and dislikes.. i have read people saying koreans dont have taste because some of their fav shows didnt do well domestically.. thats stupid.. what i have noticed is, even though koreans are extremely obsessed with physical appearance, they wont waste their time on movies or dramas if the leads cannot act.. i guess one of the reasons why most of the hallyu stars dont have a successful movie career.. only the good-looking ones with good acting skills get to be in movies as leads.. even korean movies are not flashy like kdramas.. kdramas sell dreams whereas kmovies sell reality..
if skycastle wasnt in news for breaking records, international fans would have never noticed that drama considering it didnt had any famous names.. koreans prefer either dramas that showcases the problems in their society like skycastle or dramas that has famous leads that can act well like cloy.. atleast thats whats happening for the last 2-3 years..

i seriously dont understand how dreadlocks are owned by just one race.. as an indian and a hindu, i have seen indian saints having dreadlocks and our lord shiva has dreadlocks.. but i dont see indians saying they have a copyright over a particular hairstyle.. when i was very little and saw people having dreadlocks i used to say their hair looks like lord shiva..
when selena gomaz was seen wearing a bindi, indians didnt had any problem.. it was non-indians that said its degrading another culture.. its just a bunch of keyboard warriors who likes to spread hatred and think they are woke..

i understood the fiery priest, skycastle, dr.kim and parasite parody quiet well.. but didnt get the world of the married and old movie references..
the only problem of watching foreign dramas and movies is you can never enjoy it to the fullest.. lot of times, the intentsity of dialogues get diluted when its subbed..
whenever i watch foreign language movies or dramas i feel like i should study that language to enjoy it more..
even with subtitles, i enjoy kdramas more when i watch it for the 2nd time.. there are a lot of scenes i dont notice because i am busy reading subtitles..

i used to watch a lot of american series and no kdrama is more problematic than american teen dramas..

just dont let puppy's manager know about it..

even the director's last project the fiery priest was also more for the korean audience than international but it didnt had this much parody( even if it had i didnt understood it.. lol).. one thing i understood after watching BR and FP is that koreans love poop jokes.. FP had a hilarious scene where DS's character in it gets diarrhea.. DS guy was very funny in FP

the fiery priest is a good show.. if you watch it you will understand that the director kind of shot BR the same way but is not as good as FP.. both the shows have the same director..
parasite is an amazing movie.. you should give it a try when you get time..

i havent seen born again so dont know what happened there.. in iotnbo MY has a disorder and she herself dont know that her behavior towards others is problematic and the male lead knows that.. thats why he treats her the same way he treats his autistic brother at times.. he tells her whats wrong and right how parents tell their children.. so they are not romanticizing her behavior..
till now SB is not in love with DH and what she has is infatuation and admiration towards DH. since she never had any romantic feelings for anyone else she thinks she is in love with him.. but since its a kdrama and the genre is rom-com her infatuation will turn into love soon.. seeing how nice of a guy DH is, its not that hard for fall for him.. its DH's side i am more curious about.. how he will fall for her.. i guess he will start liking the attention and respect he gets from her.. its pretty clear that none of his previous girlfriends appreciated his kindheartedness and he was the only one completely invested in the relationship..

has YJ kept spy cam on DH to know YJ was touchy feely with him? except for the piggyback she never saw SB being physically close to DH.. so SB being physically close to DH has nothing to do with YJ's insecurities and not a justification for YJ's actions..
the drama is far away from the webtoon and even korean audience who has read the entire webtoon has forgotten about it and the show is only seeing increase in viewership.. so the webtoon is no more valid to crucify the show..
you know that way of showing affection is also part of someone's personality? some people dont like holding hands in public but some people dont mind.. it depends on their personality and comfort level.. SB is comfortable enough with DH and puppy to be physically close to them.. some people are physically close to people they are close to regardless of the gender of the other person.. she holds hand or keeps her hand of the shoulder of a person she is comfortable with regardless of their gender.. she gets comfortable with people easily and it is part of her personality.. her bright and friendly personality is one of the main reasons why the store saw increase in sale..

the purpose of the first 2 episodes were solely to make the viewers misunderstand SB the same way DH misunderstood her.. her entry into the store, her looking at the cash counter and cigarette packs were shot in a very shady way.. every misunderstanding everyone had on SB was cleared by now..

if her purpose was intact then she would have never left her job and never would have felt guilty for creating problems for DH..

again why the hell should SB leave her job right after knowing DH has a gf? you also clearly said she might not get job as good as this one.. as a young girl, DH's store is one of the best places she can work.. safety is a very important thing..

she did some stupid stuff while being blinded by her infatuation for DH but never meant any harm for anyone and backed out when she realized she was wrong..

watch the 2nd lead's cameo in its okay to not be okay.. he is amazing in it..

its not that easy to get a job and the struggle SB had to go through to find a job is shown in the show.. SB works at the store not simply because she has feelings for DH, she gave her 100% to that job and was very sincere towards her job.. even after knowing DH has a gf, she did her job with uttermost sincerity.. she does that with every job she did..
YJ didnt know SB had feelings for DH when she spied on DH in the 1st episode.. infact she didnt even know the name or how the parttimer looks.. then she secretly went to the store to check out the girl and misunderstood SB's friend to be SB.. went satisfied thinking that girl is not a competition to her as she isnt pretty enough.. then the moment she found out a pretty girl is working with her bf, accused her for bullying her with in seconds. when she accused SB she didnt know SB had any feelings for DH.. then when they met at the office, she was the one who showed SB attitude first and didnt even felt guilty for falsely accusing SB.. till now she had problems with SB only because she was insecure and she had no idea of SB's feelings.. till the piggyback scene YJ didnt had any valid reason to hate SB except for SB being pretty and working with her bf.. she herself was working with a guy who openly admitted of having feelings for her and she even hangs out with him outside work as well but cannot handle her bf working with a young girl..
you clearly said YJ and DH has problems even without SB in the picture then why is she made into the evil 3rd person in the relationship when she isnt.. YJ would have had a problem with any girl who works with DH.. i never said DH was not at fault.. his fault was never stating his uncomfortableness in the relationship and keeping himself second in the relationship apart from that he was nearly a perfect bf... gave her all the freedom she wanted, was always understanding towards her job and never was insecure of the fact that his gf earns more than him..
the biggest difference b/w YJ and SB is SB feels guilty when she does something wrong and is ready to rectify it but YJ dont.. till now YJ dont care for the fact that she cheated on DH and she ditched DH on multiple occasions for her own benefits but made DH feel guilty for even the smallest mistake he does. she pretends to be the perfect gf.. she even now accuses him of cheating and was downright rude to him.. on the other hand, SB is guilty of creating trouble b/w YJ and DH even if its unintentional and kept her distance..
also if she dont want her bf to be around someone she knows has feelings for him then why does she hang out with her boss? she should have also drawn the line.. she took into her professional life into consideration and her friendship with the boss but didnt care for the fact that due to SB, DH is also doing well professionally and that too after struggling for 6 months..
its easier for YJ to find another job than SB.. she is qualified and filthy rich and is good at her job.. then why wasnt she quitting her job.. she even went with the guy she cheated on right after breaking up with DH in front of his eyes.. that's absolutely insensitive and disrespectful towards DH..
the main point is she dont trust her bf and is highly insecure but wants herself to believe she is perfect and not ready to see her shortcomes... she is putting the entire blame on DH and SB..
also except for the first 2 episodes, SB didnt flirt with DH and she is naturally a touchy person.. she does the same with puppy as well.. she gets physically close with people she gets comfortable with.. she dont do that intentionally.. even DH is like that.. he gets quite close to SB when they are bickering..
dont judge SB based on the first two episodes which was clearly shot in a way to show SB in a bad light..
