even though i like certain actors a lot i wont continue watching a movie or a drama if i dont like it.. even though i loved hyungsik i left hwarang midway.. whats wrong with my family was a good show so i watched it till the end.. i only watched hyungsik's story in high society, i left suits midway as well.. it was too much of a professional drama for my taste.. same with boyoung.. i didnt like the trailer and ML of abyss so i didnt watch it.. i watched her movie, on your wedding day and it was good.. phs and pby are my favorites but i cannot sit through a drama solely based on my love for them..
again jcw's wig on his instagram post is the wig from the show the fiery priest and no culture has a copy right…
i dont get people attacking jcw for his instagram post.. that video was solely a parody of the fiery priest scene.. DS was wearing his regular clothes with his dreadlock wig and jcw was wearing the wig DS wore on the fiery priest.. there is no reason for a controversy at all.. its like some people think anyone other than a particular race wears dreadlock means racism.. also most of the people who criticize DS only care about the dreadlocks and dont even notice his clothes.. that clearly shows they have no idea about racism and simply jumping into the bangwagon of hating the show..
Agree, it is so forced. The basic concept that if you are in a serious relationship for 3 years and haven't seen…
its not weird for asian people.. in india joint family is still very much relevant and even rich people do that.. in south asian countries it ends with parents, their son, his wife and kids but in indian joint family even aunt, uncle and cousins will be in the same household.. in the west it might be a normal thing to make the parents meet the person you are dating regardless of how long it has been but its not the same for asian families.. here a marriage is considered to be a union of two families and not just two individuals.. it might be weird for westerners to understand but it is how it is.. so when you introduce your partner to your family its a big deal.. most of them dont introduce random people they are dating.. they only introduce partners with whom they see a future together and if there is religious or social or cultural difference b/w both the families then the couple will surely hesitate and i personally have seen couples break-up due to disapproval from their families.. some elope as well..eloping and getting married might be an alien concept for westerners but not from where i come from..

i know people who were in relationship for 3-4 yrs but never met each other's parents.. most people introduce their partner to their parents only if they both are sure that they want to get married. in BR it was clearly shown YJ was confused with the relationship and intentionally delayed the meeting with her parents whereas DH's parents were aware that he had a gf but YJ never showed interest in meeting his parents like he did..
after swdbs i was on a marathon watching almost everything hyungsik and boyoung have done.. i was literally obsessed with those two puppies... i also saw hwarang and high society because of hyungsik.. hwarang had so much potential but they ruined it by giving importance to the love story of the leads who had zero chemistry and the fl was unbearable..
so true.. this page was hardly active for ep 7&8 but suddenly the old criticism is back once people started liking…
i think korean society had this fighting it out thing.. in the early 2000s highschool korean movies and movies that show 80s and 90s, gangs from different school meeting at the alley and fighting it out was so common.. almost all movies and dramas have that scene.. i guess toxic kdrama actor fans are international ones and the actors that became famous around 2010 have these kind of fans and that was the time kdrama started to get wider audience.. since i am indian and movies are much more prominent than dramas i grew up watching fans of actors arguing with each other over which one is better.. so this lmh vs ksh vs jcw dont suprise me..
how many episodes does it have? i have only seen one 50+ episode kdrama till now.. that was whats wrong with my family and it was solely because of my unconditional love for park hyung sik.. that was a good drama..
GT is a little bit annoying tho, I get his brother is particular and his life has been hard but this thing of…
the reason why GT still lives with the guilt is because he is still the child he was 20 yrs ago.. he never grew out of it.. the reason why MY gets to him is because she voices what he is into his face.. as she said he is still that kid who craves for his mother's love..
i guess one of the reasons for the low rating is it airing on netflix at the same time as it airs on tv.. also i heard there is another kdrama on free channel that has 20+% rating.. dont know if it airs on the same time as iotnbo.. i guess its name is once again and it is a 50+ episode drama.. if its a family drama then obviously older generation will prefer it over this..
Just my observation, I have been following this comment section for quite a while. And for the past two, three…
so true.. this page was hardly active for ep 7&8 but suddenly the old criticism is back once people started liking it again.. in this 10 episode all the misunderstanding everyone had on SB was made clear and the drama is no more following the webtoon but some are still stuck at ep 1 and 2.. i guess when hyunbin and gongyoo's popularity was at its peak, social media and international fan following for kdrama werent that high.. so even if they had this kind of petty fans they werent out in the open.. its like how 2nd gen kpop fans say 3rd gen kpop fans are wilder but its just that 3rd gen kpop is more out there than 2nd gen. and socia media wasnt this prominent.. regardless of which generations, almost all famous kpop groups had toxic and obsessed fans and fanwars b/w groups.. some of the seasang stories of 2nd gen kpop groups are much more scarier than today's.. when 4th gen takes over then 3rd gen will say 4th gen are wilder..
So I’ve read a few chapters of the webtoon and watched a few episodes and what the f*ckkkk!!! How can they accept…
again jcw's wig on his instagram post is the wig from the show the fiery priest and no culture has a copy right over dreadlocks.. no culture or race owns dreadlocks.. if any culture wants a copyright over it i guess indians will have more rights over it than anyone.. hindu god lord shiva has dreadlocks and indian saints and akhoris have dread locks for centuries.. just because dreadlocks are used by a particular race more than others doesnt mean they own it.. and if anyone other than those race does a dreadlock doesnt mean they are racist.. stop jumping on the bandwagon without knowing whats it about..
So I’ve read a few chapters of the webtoon and watched a few episodes and what the f*ckkkk!!! How can they accept…
except for the basic story of the webtoon nothing is similar.. they just took like 20% of the webtoon.. its pretty clear that you havent seen the drama and just complaining on the basis of what you have read.. its made pretty clear that SB is 22yrs old, so she was 19 when she kissed him.. she was an adult and JCW's character not even once did anything sexual towards SB.. even after 10 episodes he treats her like a girl that needs guidance.. they show never promoted cheating and SB had no intentions of breaking DH and YJ apart.. if you want to criticise the show atleast watch it and then criticise it.. also atleast try to make others belive that you saw the drama..
Just for the sake of adding more drama they tried to make their breakup much more than it is. I don't understand…
he saw his father right in front of his eyes and YJ went with her boss right in front of his eyes and he clearly knows how YJ's mother is like... so nothing was instantly.. also YJ never had any interactions with his parents other than meeting the mother accidentally at their house. so it was not like DH was giving a blind eye to YJ while she belittled his parents for years and suddenly after the breakup he saw it.. its a fictional show so everything is written and scripted.. also DH was always caring towards SB and SB will obviously try to get him once he is single.. so there was no need to push them towards each other.. any kind of breakup is more than enough for SB to try her luck..
i like both in different ways.. love the fl in both and understand why the MLs in both are the way they are..…
exactly.. the journey and the outcome is the difference in both.. nevertheless i enjoy both the show equally.. iotnbo has things br lacks and viceversa.. friday, saturday and sunday are my fav days now.. thanks to both the shows..
I think a large part of Korea agrees with you. Whilst IONTBO stays stable at 1.5m viewers on Saturday and continues…
i think KSH does roles mostly of similar type.. i think he is a good actor but not versatile.. he nails a certain kind of roles but not every role.. i didnt really notice his acting in my love from the stars as i was completely invested in jun ji hyun. tried watching the producers but dropped it midway, tried watching his movie real and didnt understand a thing(may be because it bored me and i fast forwarded it).. i loved his cameos in crash landing on you and hotel del luna.. i want to watch secretly greatly.. i started liking him after IOTNBO..
SB is 22 and DH is 30.. 8 years is not that big of a deal..
even though i loved hyungsik i left hwarang midway.. whats wrong with my family was a good show so i watched it till the end.. i only watched hyungsik's story in high society, i left suits midway as well.. it was too much of a professional drama for my taste.. same with boyoung.. i didnt like the trailer and ML of abyss so i didnt watch it.. i watched her movie, on your wedding day and it was good.. phs and pby are my favorites but i cannot sit through a drama solely based on my love for them..
