you cannot expect a girl grew up without parental guidance at an age when she needed it the most, to be perfect.. she is short-tempered and solves problems using her fist and thinks just because she likes DH, she has some sort of right over him.. she needs to grow up as a person and thats one of the reasons why DH shows concern over her and feels responsible towards her.. same with his mother as well.. you can clearly imagine the kind of stuff a girl of her age might have gone through trying to make a living for her and her sister.
viewers are harsher towards YJ is because she didnt grew up like SB and is lot more older than her.. she clearly knows right from wrong but still thinks whatever she does is right. SB dont know that and when she realized that her affection for DH was giving him trouble she herself backed out.. the misunderstandings are caused mainly because of the little trust YJ has on DH and her unwillingness to hear his side of the story and coming to conclusions on her own.. SB is just a secondary cause.. the boss and YJ gave DH more reasons to misunderstand Yj but he never questioned her coz he trusted her..whereas YJ started doubting DH the moment she came to know his part-timer is a girl..

she met him at 12 then at 18-19 and then at 21-22.. she never stalked him or followed him around in all those years.. she has been working her ass of to make a living in those 3 years and she wasnt even in seoul for a long time to stalk him.. after 3 yrs she directly came to him and applied for the job..
except for the first 2 episodes were the makers intentionally showed SB on a bad light she never did anything stalkerish or tried to hamper his relationship.. having someone on their mind has nothing to do with stalking.. if so then we can say a lot of kdrama leads are stalkerish since a lot of them met at childhood and kept those memories in mind and had soft-spot for one another..
both SB and DH talks in a very friendly manner and he also gets close to her while talking.. she does everything in a playful manner and to irritate DH.. she never had any harmful intentions towards DH..
DH never felt afraid or unsafe with SB and her actions.. irritated-yes but not afraid or unsafe.. he clearly sees her actions as childish and bickers with her or play along with her.. initially he misunderstood her but after that was solved he was also very comfortable around her.. infact he was more comfortable around SB than he was with his gf of 2yrs.. a stalker dont make his victims comfortable with their presence..
you know stalking, pedophilia, sexual harassment are too big of a word to be used just like that..

even though i loved hyungsik i left hwarang midway.. whats wrong with my family was a good show so i watched it till the end.. i only watched hyungsik's story in high society, i left suits midway as well.. it was too much of a professional drama for my taste.. same with boyoung.. i didnt like the trailer and ML of abyss so i didnt watch it.. i watched her movie, on your wedding day and it was good.. phs and pby are my favorites but i cannot sit through a drama solely based on my love for them..

i dont get people attacking jcw for his instagram post.. that video was solely a parody of the fiery priest scene.. DS was wearing his regular clothes with his dreadlock wig and jcw was wearing the wig DS wore on the fiery priest.. there is no reason for a controversy at all..
its like some people think anyone other than a particular race wears dreadlock means racism..
also most of the people who criticize DS only care about the dreadlocks and dont even notice his clothes.. that clearly shows they have no idea about racism and simply jumping into the bangwagon of hating the show..

its not weird for asian people.. in india joint family is still very much relevant and even rich people do that.. in south asian countries it ends with parents, their son, his wife and kids but in indian joint family even aunt, uncle and cousins will be in the same household..
in the west it might be a normal thing to make the parents meet the person you are dating regardless of how long it has been but its not the same for asian families.. here a marriage is considered to be a union of two families and not just two individuals.. it might be weird for westerners to understand but it is how it is.. so when you introduce your partner to your family its a big deal.. most of them dont introduce random people they are dating.. they only introduce partners with whom they see a future together and if there is religious or social or cultural difference b/w both the families then the couple will surely hesitate and i personally have seen couples break-up due to disapproval from their families.. some elope as well..eloping and getting married might be an alien concept for westerners but not from where i come from..

most people introduce their partner to their parents only if they both are sure that they want to get married. in BR it was clearly shown YJ was confused with the relationship and intentionally delayed the meeting with her parents whereas DH's parents were aware that he had a gf but YJ never showed interest in meeting his parents like he did..

after swdbs i was on a marathon watching almost everything hyungsik and boyoung have done.. i was literally obsessed with those two puppies... i also saw hwarang and high society because of hyungsik.. hwarang had so much potential but they ruined it by giving importance to the love story of the leads who had zero chemistry and the fl was unbearable..

i didnt watch it even though i have heard of the show.. i didnt like any of the actors in it enough to invest that much time on the show..

i think korean society had this fighting it out thing.. in the early 2000s highschool korean movies and movies that show 80s and 90s, gangs from different school meeting at the alley and fighting it out was so common.. almost all movies and dramas have that scene..
i guess toxic kdrama actor fans are international ones and the actors that became famous around 2010 have these kind of fans and that was the time kdrama started to get wider audience..
since i am indian and movies are much more prominent than dramas i grew up watching fans of actors arguing with each other over which one is better.. so this lmh vs ksh vs jcw dont suprise me..

how many episodes does it have? i have only seen one 50+ episode kdrama till now.. that was whats wrong with my family and it was solely because of my unconditional love for park hyung sik.. that was a good drama..

the reason why GT still lives with the guilt is because he is still the child he was 20 yrs ago.. he never grew out of it.. the reason why MY gets to him is because she voices what he is into his face.. as she said he is still that kid who craves for his mother's love..
