Men not forgetting their first love is kind of a real thing. In sunjae's case in the first timeline it's first love + guilt that eat him up and the reason he could never move on. The second time he had spend a lot of time with her and had very loving memories with her. Also sunjae is shown to be a person who is very dedicated to what he loves. It was the same with swimming. He was completely dedicated to his swimming career for 10yrs and pushed himself way too hard. Normally people don't get stuck on that one person forever but it's not an impossible or unrealistic things. There are a lot of real love stories where both the partners stayed in love with each other without seeing each other for years and not falling for anyone else.

The precap looks interesting. Sunjae's birth purpose itself is to be a loser for sol and no amount of effort from Sol and no number of time travel can change that. Its written in the stars 🤣

Does taesung remembers? How are Sol and taesung still friends? If sunjae and her never met and future sol stayed in the last won't that mean Sol never proposed taesung and taesung don't know the difference between young and adult sol?

I think since she has dementia her memories don't get wiped out like others.

We are seeing multiple dramas in a single drama.
So wooseok and hyeyoon played high school lovers, college lovers, adult lovers. We got love at first sight troop and now we will get haters to lovers troop. We also got angst, comedy, romance with plenty of kissing scenes and thriller.
Now only sageuk is left for our hyeyoon and wooseok. They have done almost everything else in this drama together.
So kdrama gods cast these two together again in a sageuk. 🤭

In the precap, Sol is looking at her and grandma's photo. So I guess grandma passed away in this timeline 🙁

I guess the profession is the same.

I always see people hating on Jo Bo ah and I have no idea why. She was hated by a set when she got cast in tale of the nine tailed and saw the same during destined with you. But after both the dramas went on air and people saw the BTS, a lot of people started shipping her with Lee dong wook and rowoon. She seems to get along well with her male co-stars and seems to be an easy going person.

I think it's the combination of the writing and directing that worked for LR. LR seems to have a better director than TB. The acting is also very different. TB had a lot more cringe moments as well as not so good acting. This drama has embarrassing moments but not that much cringe.

For your kind information kim hye yoon acted in sky castle with much senior actors and stood out and won prestigious awards for her acting. She has been active only for 5-6 yes and managed to get high praises for her acting. She also did an indie film which was completely carried by her and was highly appreciated for it.
This is bws's first lead role and he was appreciated well for his last movie and drama.

Seems like someone is salty that LR managed to get the attention they wanted for TW.

I literally said except for time travelling there is nothing else in common. Then go back couple did a much better job than tw and it had leads in their late 30s and it was a hit drama as well.

Why would a young rom com have leads in their 40s? Cloy had leads in their late 30s and it's one of the biggest hits ever. Sky castle, penthouse are all dramas with lead characters having teenage kids and are all dramas with high rating. Crash course in romance had leads in their 40s and neither of them can be considered to be very good looking and the drama is a hit as well. Dr. Cha had leads in their 50s and it's also a hit drama.
My demon had two extremely good looking leads and was heavily promoted and it wasn't a hit.
So the age of the leads and their attractiveness cannot predict the sucess of a drama. LR didn't had half the promotion or budget of my demon and still it's way more successful.

I only compared the chemistry of the leads of LR and TW. Just because TW's main focus wasn't romance doesn't mean there wasn't any romance in it.

Don't know why you are stuck on the attractive factor of LR leads. There are plenty of dramas out there that flopped even if popular good looking leads and there are plenty of drama which were hits with older actors.

Whether you like it or not LR managed to keep a vast amount of audience hooked to it till 12 episodes and thats not simply because it had two good looking leads. If a drama regardless of its genre manages to grab the interest of the audience in a positive way then it's a successful drama.

It's typical and like those guilty pleasure watches 😂

The main problem is they come here and compare it to dramas from completely different genre and want it to be like those genres. Some are just salty that their underrated drama didn't get the popularity this drama got and is poking it and some just don't like this genre and watch it simply because of its hype and then gets disappointed.
