This is the 2nd drama after swdbs were the ml in every possible way deserved the fl more than the SML. Taesung is a darling but he don't stand a chance in front of sunjae.
I don't really get second lead syndrome but there are SML I liked more than the ml either due to their acting or characterisation but didn't want them to end up with the fl.

When she came back for the second time she prevented her kidnap so he wasn't caught. Then he went after the 20yr old Sol after few months and sunjae caught him but this time Sol didn't loose her legs. Then 14 yrs later he was released from prison and he went after sunjae.
In the original timeline he kidnapped 19yr old sol and hit her with the car. Sunjae saved her and caught him.

Yes. He is against sunjae because he is over protective over Sol 😂 and in his defense he always caught them in embarrassing or awkward situations

High Schoolers are girls not women and they are totally allowed to be childish because they are still kids. I guess it will be better if we let women express the way they want to express themselves instead of calling them childish for expressing openly. Sol hasn't made a single decision that can be considered childish. Due to circumstances she might have ended up embarrassing herself but she did none of that due to her childishness.

If this was 12 episodes everyone will cry for not having enough sunjae and Sol scenes. Also the drama had to show three timelines and 12 episodes will be way too rushed and on to the point. Till episode 12 they have managed to show bundle of scenes for the leads as well as made the story move forward and majority are loving it. 16 episodes are fine as long as it's done well and they have enough story to tell and so far LR has done that well.

Exactly. The drama cannot run 16 episodes just by showing Sol and sunjae being lovey dovey with each other. The webtoon story was too bland for a 16 episode drama.

I guess the main problem I had with this drama is I don't understand more than half the things related to the academics of South Korea. I understand that the competition is very high there and high school students are under high pressure and parents (esp mothers) are super involved in their academic life after watching multiple school related dramas. But this one talks in depth about the academic system and questions asked in the exams and everything went above my head. I don't get why the school teacher hates academies. I have been to private tuition all my school life and none of my school teachers cared about it and tuition centers followed what's taught in schools. I don't know how its in South Korea.
Also competition is everywhere and it's not like the ml left a govt job with full security for a private job. So what's all the fuzz about? The problems the ml told fl about the job is there in any other job.

True. Most of them will fight tooth and nail to defend flawed male characters but will hate on female characters without a second though for the slightest things.

The first time she went she had no idea how it works. She came back to the future out of the blue and sunjae was still dead. She had no idea about the taxi driver and how she ended up in the accident and sunjae being involved in it. Then the second time she though she was there to save herself from the accident and she successfully did it. Then she came back to the future and according to her everything was fine. How is she supposed to know that the taxi driver will go after sunjae? The third time is the only time she went back knowing what's exactly happening and obviously her priority is to make sure the taxi driver never sees sunjae and sunjae under no circumstances is gonna let Sol deal with that taxi driver on her own.
Taxi driver attacking Sol is inevitable. She only has once change to get the taxi driver get caught without sunjae seeing him. She will go back to the future after the said day he attacks her and if she avoids that date and the taxi driver is not caught he will go after the young Sol who has no idea about any of this and sunjae will end up saving her and the future won't change. She has informed the police about her whereabouts and is gonna face the taxi driver on her own. She cannot say what she knows about the taxi driver to sunjae as it happens in the future. Except for fighting the taxi driver, sunjae is not of much help and Sol's main purpose is for the taxi driver to never encounter sunjae. So obviously she will make him stay away from her.
