If you want to move on from highschool dramas do so and don't watch highschool kdramas. It is upto Koreans to decide if they want to move on from that theme or not.
Also it's a rom com and kdrama rom coms have silly behaviours from the leads to generate comedy. Even 700-1000yr old supernatural creatures behave silly for comic purpose.
If you only like serious dramas there are plenty of them as well.
What the genre you like instead of watching a genre you don't like and then wanting it to be a different genre.

Bashing fl is not a new thing on mdl. If they are perfect they will be hated for being perfect and unrealistic and if they behave humanly and has flaws they will be hated for not being good enough for the ml.
The fl of atypical family has been getting hate from ep 1 itself for being a scammer. 🙄

She understood why inguem got worried. They have been married for years and they are behaving like a typical married couple with fights and makeups.

19 yr old Sol is behaving just like a 19yr old and she barely had 2-3 scenes and there is not a single scene were she behaved as a 9 yr old. She is simply shown to be a spoiled brat. The girl went through a life changing traumatizing event so obviously there will be a vast difference between the sol before and after the accident. Then even without any of that there will be difference between a 19yr old girl and a 34yr old woman.
By the second timeline her admiration turned into love and even just as a fan she went above and beyond to make sure he is gonna be fine in the future.

Ya. The drama is a rom-com so it's not gonna have a sad ending. At max it might not have that much of a good last episode as we want but the ending will be happy for sure.
