all thats to the perfect love story of the leads.. this show has one of the most perfect male lead in kdrama.
i dont think this drama is overrated.. it delivers what it promises.. a romantic comedy thriller.. the villain gets on your nerves as he should be, the leads make you love them and this show definitely has a lot of iconic scenes as well as one of the most iconic onscreen couple..

the 2nd lead in this drama had all the qualities of a typical male lead of kdrama.. short-tempered, arrogant and dont give the fl the respect she deserves.. the ml had all the qualities of a typical 2nd ml.. he was supportive and respectful towards the fl.

i never knew jcw and kyj had antis. isnt she like korea's little sister or something? dont know much about jcw but never heard anything bad about him either..

the only option is to wait till it get finished and then binge watch.. i always regret watching ongoing dramas but is too impatient to wait till it finish airing..

netflix is already uploads it when it starts airing on tvn. this one is a tvn and netflix show not just netflix original were they upload all the episodes at once.
also netflix is already the most expensive streaming site..

also i think they should have cast someone else other than jcw.. in a look obsessed society like sk, a guy as good looking as DH could have easily made a career in modelling.
i just cannot see him as an ordinary guy even though his acting is quite good. i have seen him only in suspicious partner and 5-6 episodes of healers and not a big fan of him but still cannot image him as a very simple guy..
i am not saying he is a misfit but his onscreen presence is very strong for him to be seen as a simple guy who is very relatable..
i appreciate him for choosing roles where he is not the alpha male but some scenes like him fan boying over puppy were weird to me.. throughout the entire scene i was like dude you are ji chang wook, stop fanboying over a kid..
even though kim soo hyun is a bigger star than jcw i can totally imagine him being such an ordinary guy in IOTNBK but not jcw.
i have very mixed feelings towards jcw in this drama( nothing to do with his acting) even-though i enjoy watching the drama and i like his chemistry with kyj. they do look good together and the age difference is hardly noticeable..
may be i am the only one who feels this way and its solely my opinion.. dont take it in a negative way..

i guess SB is the only one who will like him for who he is without trying to change him or be ashamed of his bg.. also she has the guts to standup for DH no matter what. YJ clearly knows that DH is a good guy but in these 2 years she didnt learn to respect him. she clearly dont value him much even though i dont doubt on her feelings for him.. they didnt had any fight or misunderstanding in their 2 year relationship because YJ was getting everything she wanted without making any effort from her side.. even if YJ and DH somewhat make it through he will always feel inferior to her and her family is not gonna respect him.. YJ hides all her shortcomes in the relationhsip and blames everything on DH and SB.
with SB there is equality in the relationship. DH talks very comfortably with SB than with his gf of 2 yrs. SB needs the care and love of DH whereas DH needs the support of SB. she clearly has it in her to make DH more confident and he is matured enough to to handle SB's impulsiveness.. with Sb, DH dont try too hard and is himself..
DS is a good friend to DH and except for him trying too hard to be an erotic writer he is a very normal guy.

since his college was mentioned 2 times i thought that was a reputed college.. i thought he was good academically but still, couldnt make it coz of his timid nature.
so ji chang wook is actually playing an extremely ordinary guy.. lol.. thats hard to digest..

even though the boss didnt say it directly that he is gonna pursue her till ep 6, she knew he liked her the same way DH knew SB liked him. but she decided to still have a professional and personal relationship with the boss. he is close enough to attend her father's private bday party.
same way DH also has the right to maintain at least a professional relationship with SB since she is a huge help for him. also its pretty clear that DH is not the kind to cheat. he is clearly capable of handling SB the same way YJ is capable of handling her boss's feelings. the least she should have done is trust him. also SB clearly maintained her distance with DH when he asked her while the boss never did it. he kept on indirectly indicating his like for YJ.
also SB's over friendly behavior is not solely for DH. she is like that to everyone who is nice to her. she was pretty out spoken and friendly with that long hair middle aged guy she worked with or promotion and even to DH's mother and father. she talks to everyone who is nice to her in a very affectionate manner.
she need DH to understand that she is not comfortable with SB but dont seems to care to notice that DH is more uncomfortable with her being close to her boss.

i think knetz problem with BR ended with the first 2 episodes. since i have seen the fiery priest and sky castle i got those jokes but not the movie ones. when did romantic dr.kim was referred?
i am still trying to figure out why IONTBO not getting much trp. i like everything about that drama.

they showed a flashback where DH gets bullied and mistreated by his senior. i think DH graduated from a reputed college and the senior didnt like that.. so he might have thought its better to open a store of his own than work under someone.
i guess thats one of the reasons why DH didnt fire SB. he can see she is doing her best work and she dont deserved to be fired due to personal reasons..

except for the 1st 2 episodes where to give a wrong idea of SB she hasnt done anything wrong.. she gave it back to YJ solely because YJ accused her of bullying her out of nowhere and even after getting caught didnt give her a proper apology.. instead was showing attitude.. at the bathroom YJ had no solid reason to blame SB except the fact that SB was pretty.. she was totally fine with the part timer when she though SB's friend to be the part timer.. she was like that girl is not pretty enough to be my competitor..
if SB had to get in b/w them for real she wouldnt have quit her job.. she would have been more than happy if DH and YJ were having problems.. SB is immature or infatuated with DH but still dont want DH to be hurt because of her..
also DH was upset and sad because of her mother and she straight away went to SB and blamed her when she had nothing to do with it.. she didnt care for the fact that because of SB, DH's business is doing well or that the girl was hospitalized..
will YJ quit her job if she finds out DH is uncomfortable with her boss? if according to her, SB should stay away from DH for having feelings for him then she should also stay away from the director who directly said he wont back out and is actively pursuing her.. relationship is 2 way street.. why should DH be the one to adjust and sacrifice?

the drama deals with mental health and the fl is suffering from a disorder and its only on ep 6.. her disorder is not gonna disappear or get healed just like that..
the phase of the drama is just perfect.. in just 6 episodes the leads started staying together..

she is not shown as evil but flawed like the rest of the characters.. neither of the 3 are perfect.. she might have genuine feelings for DH but she is not ready to make any kind of adjustments in the relationship and DH dont know when to raise his opinion.. they both till now have been avoiding everything wrong in their relationship
also just because SB has feelings for DH doesnt mean she becomes the 3rd party.. except for the piggyback( only the 1st one) she is not directly involved in any of their problems..

memorist - the female lead was as smart in solving crimes as the male lead who had super powers.. also may be one of the very few shows where there is no romance b/w the male and female lead..
suspicious partner - one of the very few dramas where the 2nd FL is not a bitch even though she liked the ML.. all the women in the drama had a job other than being romantic with the men in their lives..
hotel del luna- even though IU looks like a cute little puppy, the character still looked so strong.
crashlanding on you - a FL that built up an empire on her own from scratches.. she is super rich because she worked hard for it..
strong woman do bong soon - well she is freaking strong..
hospital playlist - all the females were damn good at their job..
my id is Gangnam beauty - the FL had one of the best character growth in kdramas..
secret life of my secretary - veronic park.. she is one of the funniest female characters out there..

i also think so.. remember the doctor said its delusion.. its not necessary that the father strangled her because he dont like her.. it might be because she reminds him of someone else..

maybe an imagination scene or the one like bluebeard..
