how is having dreadlocks= racist? indian rishis and akhoris have been having dreadlocks for centuries now.. dreadlock dont belong to a particular race or culture..

d.o did a good job in almost all the movies he has acted and i was very confident in him when i watched 100 days..

one of the best things about the drama is that the crown prince is an intelligent and smart guy who dont bend his knee in front of those ministers.. he is neither the clueless one nor the spoiled brat that is shown in most of the sageuk dramas.. even when he lost his memory and was clueless at first, he started showing his intelligence ones he found out where his talent lies..

i watched this drama 3 yrs ago when it was ongoing.. if i remember correctly i stopped watching it midway and then finished it ones it completed airing.. at that time i was very new to kdramas.. one thing i remember about this drama is that i really loved the suspense..the other is the chemistry b/w the leads.. at that time it was one of the few kdramas i saw with good kissing scenes and a female lead that responds to the kisses well.. it wasn't one of my fav kdramas but i liked watching it..
2 days ago i watched it again and surprisingly liked it more than the first time.. things that i noticed this time were
1. the female lead is not a cry baby.. till now i have seen 3 dramas of nam ji Hyun (SP, 100 days my prince and whats wrong with my family) and she wasnt a cry baby or a weak FL in any of them.. i found her character quite unreal in wwwmf but i liked her chemistry with hyungsik and the way she supported him.. in SP even after getting accused of murder and not getting any job she was never pitiful for me.. she stayed strong even during her lowest..
2. this one dont have a rushed ending.. the problem with most of the kdramas is that they have a rushed ending.. this one ended the story of the villain by ep19 and then dedicated an entire last episode on the leads and the main characters which i loved.. every character had a closure..
3. the 2nd female lead wasnt that bitchy or bad.. infact she actually liked the female lead even though they both liked the ML.. even by the end the 3rd female lead also becomes likeable midway through the drama.. this is one of the few dramas where the 2nd female lead showed dignity and self respect.. she is a prosecutor and good at her job and getting the guy wasnt the only thing for her.. she did try to get back with the ML but never forced herself on to him or did anything harmful to the FL out of jealousy..
4. loved all the people around the leads.. whether it was the colleagues or their parents.. they all were likable.. the foster parents of the ML were love.. the relationship b/w the FL and her mother was also good.. also the batter b/w the mothers were fun to watch.. there is no character that irritated me.. even the villain didnt get on my nerves in a negative way.. he was a smart villain..
5. JCW looks better with his hair up than with bangs( he is gorgeous either way but i prefer him with his hair up).. this is the only drama of jcw i have seen completely.. i tried watching healer but couldn't make it after ep 7.. i am currently following backstreet rookie and if i complete watching it then it will be my 2nd drama of jcw.. even though i loved him in SP when i first saw it, i wasnt exactly a fan of him( i call myself a fan of actors who i get a little obsessed with. i think park hyunsik, park bo young and exo are the only Korean celebrities i call myself a fan of even though there are plenty of actors i like).. but after the 2nd watch think i am becoming a fan of jcw.. he is playing a totally different character in BR and he is a pretty decent actor.. he is one of the few actors who deserve all the hype he gets)..
6. i started shipping jcw and njh.. i know i am 3yrs late but i ship them.. i watched the bts of SP and they are so damn comfortable with each other.. they need to do another drama or a movie together.. i never wanted to see another kdrama couple together this much other than hyungsik and boyoung..

back in the 90s and early 2000s i think so.. i am not sure.. not all countries but one of the main reasons for hiring people from asian countires was because they do more work for lesser money.. i guess back in the days even if asians get payed a little they would still work considering the money was way higher than what they get in their home countries..
cheap labor and lack of population were the main reason why the west liberated their immigrant laws.. they wont be doing that without getting a good advantage in return.. no country is big hearted enough to allow others to enter their country without them getting a huge advantage unless its a refugee situation..

i guess the culture and religion in india are so inter winded and deep that its hard to shake them off.. india was under muslim rule for more than 300 yrs after that colonized by the portuguese, french and the british for more than 200 years but still the culture was intact..

one of the reasons for foreigners not getting local jobs in countries like china, korea etc is because of the language.. most of the general public in these countries are not at all familiar with english.. also these countries have enough population and enough educated and qualified people to work for them.. also culture is a huge factor.. they are very protective of their own culture and they feel too much outsiders will tamper their culture.. everyone has a fear towards unfamiliarity..
one of the main reasons why the west has liberal immigration law is because they needed work force at a cheaper rate and labor from 3rd world countries are cheaper for them than their own..
for indians, there is a famous saying in india- you can take indians out of india but not india out of indians.. some indians living outside india are way more cultured than indians living in india..

what i wanted to say is that even though people in korean, china and japan can be racist, their racism occurs mainly due to ignorance and unawareness and not due to hatred or superiority complex.. we dont hear much about non-asians getting physically assaulted in asian countries like we hear in the west.. in the west non-whites have to face physical assault and extreme level of racism... so having liberal or strict immigration laws have nothing to do with how native people behave towards outsiders..
i think west gives more priority to blacks than asians might be because blacks after 1 or 2 generations in the west will completely become an american or a european but most indians and chinese will always be indians and chinese.. they will never completely adapt to the west.. also giving more jobs to immigrants from countries like india, china, korea etc is giving indirect power to those countries.
racism in asian countries mostly end with them being offensive or ignorant towards other race and culture on their tv shows.. they dont take that to the streets.. but racism in west can end up killing people.. even after so much immigrant population and claming themselves to be more open minded that anyone else in the world racism is at an all time high in the western countries..

relationship is a 2 way street..
if yj dont like dh hanging out with a pretty girl who she thinks is interested in him( she dont know if sb likes dh or not) then she herself shouldn't hangout with her childhood friend who she clearly knows has feelings for her..
if dh gave piggyback to sb then yj also got piggyback from the director..
its like she wants to control everything in dh's life but want all the freedom herself..
she clearly has genuine feelings for dh but is not ready to adjust or be understanding for dh.. all the understanding, changing and adjusting part is solely reserved for dh..

an outsider will always face racism or some other kind of discrimination in other countries.. but even after having prejudice against outsiders we dont hear much of physical violence against foreigners in countries like china, japan and korea unlike the west.. most of them are unaware and thats why they have prejudice against other cultures or race not solely because they have some kind of hatred or superiority complex..
some americans hate indians and chinese because they think indians and chinese are taking away their jobs( which is questionable since its not indians or chinese fault that most of the americans are just high school graduates. a high school graduate cannot say a college graduate stole their job) this result in crime against people of color which is solely based on hatred and superiority complex..
i have read one article written by an indian girl who got beaten up at a night club in the UK just because of her race and the surprising fact is, a black woman was also part of it..

YJ's mother is definitely not SB's mother.. if she had anything to do with DH's mother then the father would have recognized her.. also remember YJ's mother already did a background check of DH.. so she knows about his family..

i think guys like it when they are the first kiss to a girl and his reaction seemed to be more for the comedy than real..

the scene from ep 5 wasnt that alarming but her behavior in ep 6 was quite creepy than funny..
also her mother was dead afraid of her.. considering how calm and composed juri behave on the outside there was no reason for her mother to be that scared..

SB is now 22 so younger than her means during high school time..
DH's father will definitely recognize the friend.. the conversation b/w YJ's mother and DH's father was way too plain..

till now i dont remember any of the girls mentioning about their mother so dont know.. SB only told she grew up with her parents and the father died 3 yrs ago..
DH's mother's affection towards her is also the main reason why i think her bestfriend and SB's mother are the same person..
also if the flashback woman has nothing to do with the leads i dont think they wold have given her that much screentime..

before SB joined the store, it was his father and DH who used to do the shifts.. so his father used to sit at the store.. also if YJ's mother was the friend i think the father would have recognized.. its pretty clear that DH's parents knew each other since highschool..
also YJ's mother dont seems to be that important.. she is solely there to create more problems b/w YJ and DH.. the typical kdrama rich mother..
i think later on the drama, SB's mother might come back to them and SB will complete her studies.. DH might help her with it and he will also start to fall for her..

DH's mother also have a problem with the song that the woman in flashback sang.. so i think SB's mother is the friend..
SB's mother abandoned her own children so abandoning a bestfriend is not a biggie..

i didnt notice the song.. was the song SB's little sister sang the same one as the flashback?

also i think SB's main problem with her sister is that she is abandoning her studies for these auditions.. she herself left school just so that her sister can complete her studies.. SB seems to like going to school..
