DH tried to tell her but she never gave him a chance.. then her mother did her work like every other typical kdrama rich moms..
its pretty obvious that SB will continue to work at the store since the store is one of the main characters.. i think SB and her sister might have to move from their house(isnt that what the notice about? had no subtitles there) and might end up living at DH's house considering how much his mother adores her..
by passing episodes it makes sense why SB and DH will end up together.. she needs someone matured and understanding and he needs someone who appreciates him for who he is.. the age difference also makes sense.. she is too much for guys her age..

after that she saw SB's friend at the store and though she was the part-timer and was fine only coz her friend wasnt that pretty.. its like she wouldnt have mind as long as the girl wasnt pretty..

i thought this drama will be a stress buster but i felt really emotional seeing SB and DH's mother together.. that was a good scene.. even though SB is shown to be a 4D character who is always smiling she really wants someone to look after her and care for her.. may be thats why she kind of got attracted to an older guy..
also the problems b/w YJ and DH look very real.. they both are not bad people and they both have genuine feelings for each other but they are just not meant to be..

seems like puppy is not a guest appearance but the 3rd lead..
i kind of felt like YJ is blaming everything wrong with their relationship on SB.. the lack of communication and the social class difference are the problem b/w them.. YJ herself works with a lot of male colleagues and she clearly knows her childhood friend has romantic feelings for her but she still hangout with him and even though DH feels uncomfortable he never asked her to stay away from him.. YJ and DH never fought in those two years because she was getting his undivided attention without any effort from her side.. now she feels threatened.. when she met SB at the bathroom the only reason for her to be rude to her was because SH is a pretty girl who works with her bf.. she didnt know anything else and she completely ignored the fact that this girl saved her ass just a few seconds ago..
DH got hurt solely because of her mother and she made it look like its SB's fault..

can i ask you why you dont like the fl?

i think there is no use of talking about the offensive stuff this drama is showing.. the thing is whats offensive for us is not seen racist or offensive by the Korean audience.. koreans have a very dry and offensive kind of sense of humor.. its very evident in their variety shows as well.. they joke about stuff other people dont even think should be taken as a joke..
this drama airs on sbs and its streaming rights are with a Chinese site so the producer or the writer dont really care what the international audience think.. their sole target is the asian audience.. until the drama dont get any backlash in korea for its portrayal of the friend, the creators wont really. care. there are high chances that they wont even know that international fans find it offensive..
stereotypes exist in every entertainment industry.. if Hollywood could have made money solely based on making white people happy it would have never cared to change the stereotypes and racism they showed on movies in the 70s and 80s.. even now most of the culturally appropriate movies and dramas made in hwood will have someone from that particular race or culture at the creative side..
being an indian i have seen Bollywood stereotyping every other culture( even indian culture. in India every state has its own different customs, culture and tradition.. on top of that most of the states have its own film industry. bwood is the most prominent and biggest but dont entirely represent indian cinema).. for bwood everyone from south-east Asia will be Chinese and every whites are either from the US or UK..they think all the south-east asian countries eat anything that is alive.. the general audience dont really care about these and dont even think that these might be offensive for others..

we can feel all offensive but the makers wont care.. most of us watch the drama on unofficial streaming sites and the makers will not have any loss if some of us stop watching the show..

i think even SB got the hint.. thats why she deleted the msg she send him and she herself says to keep the line when he got close to her..
she spoke like that to YJ just to counter attack her

because koreans dont really care about racism until they face it themselves.. this drama airs on sbs so the main target is the korean audience and they kind of like offensive and sarcastic jokes..
even the international streaming rights are with a Chinese streaming site.. so the makers wont care if it is offensive to international fans..

i think piggybacking is not a big thing in korea.. even his friend was shown piggybacking his sister for the photo even though i think she is married..

i also think these two look good together despite the age difference..

i dont think giving him expired food has anything to do with it.. those are not bad food.. i have seen in a lot of kdramas were the store worker takes the food on 12 at night.. by 12 the food can no longer be kept at the store so he gets it for free..

i guess the only thing they have in their relationship is love.. there is no trust or respect or mutual understanding.. to top it they both are raised in entirely different social class.. neither of them can adjust with each other's society..
also DH is more invested in the relationship than YJ but thats not her fault.. he dont seems to be as career driver as her..

thankfully the drama hasnt sexualized the fl.. she shown more to be a short tempered fighter girl.. i also read some initial episodes of the webtoon and the drama has changed her a lot.. in the drama the fl is not exactly a bully.. she fights with people who causes trouble to her or people around her..

this one was made in 2013 and kdramas started to look rich from around 2016-17.. i think chinese dramas have more budget since china itself is a big market for chinese dramas.. but kdramas have better actors and story..
also Korean kingdoms were comparatively smaller and simpler than Chinese kingdoms

she wasnt allowed to enter the OR when she was under meditation and just because she has ptsd doesnt mean she should leave something she is passionate about..
she was under treatment all the time she was with dr.kim.. so she was under treatment in a short while after the accident..

i think religion is not a big deal in korea.. majority of the koreans have no religious affiliation.. there was a drama called save me with a religion leader as the main villian..
they are conservative in cultural wise and not religious wise
