you are not alone.. i also didnt like the sml.. i got irretated with him playing piano more than half of the episodes.. giving unnecessary importance to his character is the reason why this show went down hill.. the ml had so many dimensions and depth that needed to be disclosed by the writers decided to just show this guy playing piano..
he and his sister(esp the sister) were leeching on the ml and didnt even regret what they did to him.. the worst thing is after everything his sister did she gets a happy ending whereas the ml has to leave everything behind..

i normally watch a kdrama in a day or two but this one took 3-4 days to finish even though its only 12 episodes.. its not because its bad or boring.. its just that this one dont give you adrenal rush or cliffhangers that male to want to watch the next ep asap.. but i forget about those dramas within 2-3 days as well.. with this one the characters stay with you for a long time.. there is nothing complicated with any of the characters but they all have depth.. at the starting you may root for the wrong couple since they kind of indicate it that way..
at first we may thing songwa and jun wan have something going on but the writers make the audience think about it the same way her then-boyfriend things seeing how protective he is over her.. likewise we may also think ikjun has a thing for gyewool.. i absolutely adore the friendship b/w the main characters and also b/w the director and jungwon's mother.. they have been bestfriend's for more than 30+ yrs.. ikjun and his son are way too adorable..

p.s- i am almost sure that ikjun knows about his sister and junwan.. he is too smart to be fooled.. esp when all the evidences are right in front of him.. he is just waiting for them to tell him..

all the young actors are in the supporting role category..

ya the voice was kind of deep like the fl's.. joori's voice is different.. i dont think joori is that important to the plotline as of now.. she just seems to be pissed of at the fl for somehting that happened when they were kids and also because of her closeness to kangtae.. joori clearly likes kangtae..

if you have seen lets fight ghost then the female lead was 16 at that time..

joori was down in the garden with the fl and her father when she got strangled.. so she is not the one watching them through the window..

but the journalist said her mother is dead and her father is in the hospital so stay away from her to kangtae..

its because she has aspd and people suffereing from that dont care about other's personal space or making them uncomfortable.. she will do it again if she gets a chance even if he dont like it. in the precap also she is shown to invade his privacy..

the thing is countries like japan, korea and china dont have mixed race or are very open to people outside asia.. they are not very welcoming towards the idea of immigrates from other race.. western countries used to colonies african countries and make back people their slaves and are the main reason for the rest of the world looking down on them.. so thats why BLM is a big deal in the western countries.. its not like that in countries like japan and korea. they had no history with black people and very little interaction with them.. the majority of the general public stereotype all the races except themselves.. they have a stereotypical image of Africans, middle east asians and indians.. even the whites as well.. countries like japan, Korea and china tries very hand not to let western culture and thinking influence then and protect their culture very dearly.. this ended in them not being very open about other cultures as well..

to put it simple every country has a stereotypical image of cultures that are alien to them.. since kdramas and kpop are getting international attention we are seeing that.. i am an indian and i can tell you that indian mainstream media also has a stereotypical image of south asians and westerners.. i am sure the African countries will also have stereotypical images of other countries.. since Hollywood has market all over the world and USA has a respectable amount of people of colours in their society they cannot be racist even if they want to.. now Hollywood cannot survive without appealing to people of colors.. they even have top artists and celebrities from different race.. its not the case for kdramas since their main target is always their own people..

but didnt the mother die in that house? in the flashback its shown that the mother was kept in a room downstairs and blood coming put of her head.. its hard to understand which scenes are real and which scenes are imagination of the fl..

overall, storywise its just a normal kdrama but i really liked the cast..

going by how moonyoung is its pretty obvious that she might have done something when they were kids.. joori is trying too hard to be the good one out of the two but seeing the precap it seems like she failed.

i guess it might also be because this is a netflix original and young people might prefer to watch it online rather than on tv.. ksh fans are mostly youth..

i was also surprised.. they didnt even feel the need to pick her up from the floor.. those are caretakers.. they are supposed to have some compassion for others.. even the head nurse stood still.. she was not even helping her father like the rest..

the male lead seems to kind of figure out that she has some problem.. in ep4 he says she is not capable enough of understanding her own feelings let alone understand someone else's.. she dont know why she wants what she wants like her obsession with the ml

didnt he did a lead role in a 50+ episode drama? i heard it did well.. havent seen it..

its a korean drama and hitting on the head is not considered to be an assault in korea..
its not upto you do decide whether she sexually assaulted him or not.. he didnt feel sexually assaulted.. he saw her action as an impulsive act of a high-schooler.. he is a guy in his 20s who can clearly differentiate b/w these kind of thinks.. even when he saw her 3 yrs after he saw her as a troublemaker and not as his assaulter.. even now he dont feel uncomfortable with her..

sorry to burst your bubble but neither of the leads are my favorites.. the sole reason i decided to watch this one was because the director is same as the fiery priest and i finished watching it a day before this one aired.. but it seems like you absolutely hate one of the leads to the level that you reply to almost all he comments that is in favor of the drama and sees only negative things in every single action of the female lead..
its ep 4 and by now the actions of female lead has been explained but you are still stuck in episode 1..
