I watched go back couple and loved it. The story and acting both were good. Right now watching oh my venus and i find it just okay. Reached ep 10 only.
Then i liked emergency couple (one of the very few dramas with no bitchy character along with go back couple)
Then i saw come back ahjussi. Its watchable. For a brief period i was more into asian movies than dramas so cannot remember anything else at the moment.

I also dont mind such characters but phs's character was a breath of fresh air among other kdrama leads i have seen. There is an over dose of arrogant jerk male leads in kdramas. Esp in the earlier kdramas like bof and playful kiss. I have heard of shopping king Louise but never saw it.

If the story was that bad it wouldn't have been such a bit hit considering there was no big names attached to it except park bo young and she also is not that popular internationally. Also western comic books are different from asian ones. The story did lag in 2 or 3 episodes but over all swdbs was a really good drama.it also. The show constantly had good ratings in korea and is one of the higest rated kdramas. Only very few dramas do well in korea as well as internationally. No matter how many flaws goblin and swdbs had they are among them.

If they focused more on the romance viewers would have died of diabetes.. Lol

Only their relationship was refreshing. Over all wlf was boring for me esp due to the not so good acting of the leads

it was mad pretty clear that he was more invested in the relation than she is and she fell for him way after he fell for her. so it takes time for her to reach his level. min hyung is shown to be a loner so he didnt had much people close to him so we didnt see her bonding with anyone close to him like he did with her family.
i guess she completely fell for him and started loving him as much as he loved her after the bomb incident and she understood that no matter what the guy is never gonna leave her. after that she also started to show her feelings openly like he did.

i personally think park hyung sik and park bo young should have won the best couple considering the fact that they are the main reason swdbs was such a hit. the show wouldnt have been such a commercial success if it wasn't for their chemistry. peple might have mixed feelings about swdbs but no one will say their chemistry was not good.

i also liked the acting of the female lead from go back couple but this is an online poll and the most popular one wins. out of the most popular dramas park bo young was the best actress.

swdbs was never a show to be taken seriously. it is a fantasy drama and was even shot in a comic book manner. the only thing that can be taken seriously is the chemistry b/w the leads

yoona did a better job than her previous works but no whether near a good performance. on the other hand, park hyung sik is one of the very few idol turned actors who have been never criticised for his acting. he totally deserved the award. even in hwarang he was eqally good as park seo joo who is aprofessional actor and much experianced than him

just because you didnt enjoy it doesnt mean the drama is bad. its different from your taste. swdbs is one of the most sucessful and most popular kdrama and in my opinion way better than most of the over hyped kdramas. it had good acting and good chemistry. its very rare to see a kdrama with the female lead taking the central plot and she isnt someone who has to deal with the arrogance and childishness of the male lead. that itself was refreshing for me.

this is an online portal so its quite normal that the award will go to the most popular dramas online. its not a critics choice award. the popularity of swdbs and goblin proves that the majority of the people dont think its not the worst drama. both did well in korea and internationally.

except for the female lead and the love story of the leads i liked everything about goblin. the background score, acting , casting etc were top notch.

i totally agree with you. except for the lead couple's relationship and some comedy scenes i didnt like anything about the drama. the acting of the leads were a hude let down.

i liked the relation of the main leads in wlfkbj but the acting was so bad. i can go through a drama with flaws if the acting is good but cannot stand a drama with bad acting esp from the leads and that to the female lead.
i also like the fact that the lead guy wasnt shallow and didnt go after the female lead coz she was pretty or anything. he liked her for who she was and supported her completely. its very hard to find that kind of leads in kdramas.

i dont think swdbs had an open ending. its just that dbs accepted who she is and no more finds her strength as a cure.

that thug guy plays dual role. the thug and the supervisor are 2different persons.
swdbs wasnt even half as sexist as other kdramas. atleast the male lead didnt feel offended when everyone called him gay and didnt invade the personal space of the female lead just to prove he is a manly man. swdbs is one of the very few kdramas where the male lead respects the personal space of the female lead.

i loved swdbs and liked suspicious partner. sp would have been better of they cut down the episodes but i loved the final twist in the story and the leads looked good together.
swdbs had the best lead couple in kdrama. they had such amazing chemistry and i loved park hyung sik's character. he was such a colourful guy. he had so many shades and i bet one will never get bored with a guy like that. i was kind of done with over the top, arrogant, sexist kdrama male leads and ah min hyuk was a breath of fresh air.

swdbs has such high rating because of the leads. their chemistry can make people forget all the loopholes and flaws the show had. also acting was way better than most of the kdramas. everyone did justice to their role. even the villian who was a newcomer did a fine job.

i think now he is the main lead material.
