i dont like the way thai dramas usual treat the female leads.. in kdramas (not the recent ones) ony had dumb female leads but thai dramas have overly baring female leads that has no end to forgiveness.. the lead guy went on to have a mistress and she forgive him just because he came to save her( from a guy thats not gonna do anything to her and is probably more safe than the lead guy)
he was more like a stubborn immature spoiled brat than a jerk... his brain works like a 5 yr old and chaya dont even had a brain.. kiew was more like his mother than his gf/wife.. he shows tantrum and when she gets angry he shows his tears and she melts.. if she was a bit strong with him he would have came to his senses but instead of being strict with him she and her father just let him do whatever he wants to do and then forgive him when he shows 2-3 tears.. that guy has the easiest life ever.. people around him shower him with unwanted attention and love and he still play the victim card.. the only sensible one was kris.. he was the only one who was frustrated with peat's childish tantrums..
the only reason i watched it till the end was because of the chemistry b/w the leads. i fast forwarded a lot of scenes and only watched scenes b/w them.. they looked good together and had amazing chemistry.. no one would have thought there is 7 yr age gap b/w them..

i checked out his insta and his hair and lips look the same..
with a character so immature and spoiled there was no reason to take him seriously.. his lipstick was just cherry on the top.. lol..

so true.. the only thing working for him is his good-looks..
the girl needed some back bone and self respect as well.. if she had at-least either of the two he would have came back to his senses a long time ago or she could have moved on in life.. here nothing was happening.. he went to doing whatever he wanted and she went on baring it all..
she was too nice to the level he could walk all over her anytime he wants..

boys over flowers was my second kdrama and i didnt know any of the actors at that time.. it was so annoying that i stopped watching it after the leads fell in love.. i have seen 2 dramas of lee min ho and didnt like both( bof and heirs)
i prefer recent kdramas over the old ones.. it has better male leads and stronger female leads..

this one is a mystery melodrama.. its only in the rom-com genre they show pure fluffy love..

i guess thats one of the crucial part of the storyline.. if they change it then the drama wont have the darkness.. that is the only unexpected part in the story apart from the confusion of the lead being a murderer or not..

i watched the first 10-12 episodes hoping that my hate for boys over flowers might have been because of the way it was portrayed in the korean version but i guess i just hate it no matter in which language or which time it is been made.. the girl was totally fine with the guy 2-3 episodes after getting sexually assaulted.. he not just forcefully kissed her but kind of physically hurt her as well.. a girl might forgive a guy who sexually assaulted her if he is genuinely sorry but i don't think a girl with a tiny bit of self-respect will forget the event and then fall head over heels in love with him.. the relationship is the definition of toxic..

ahn min hyuk aka min min is my all time fav male lead..
i dont think he was rude and arrogant.. he just purposefully used to get on do bong soon's nerves to see her reactions.. he was more of a cool and chilled out guy than rude and arrogant.. he just didnt care about what others thought about him.. the reason why he never cared to clear the rumors around his sexuality untill he wanted to start a relation with bong bong is because he didnt really care about other people.. he was rich, smart and unbothered..
the best thing about him is he never try to be the alpha male in the relationship and just let bong bong have the upper hand..

i guess except for her costar in 'oh my ghost' all her costars were super tall.. she is always paired with good-looking tall guys who make her look even shorter and more cute..

the movie release last week online.. it will take few months for it to release online..

even though i first saw him in today's kirakun i noticed him in the 4 episode preview to the movie are you ready?hey you girl.. i was surprised that he is only 20 yrs old.. he has one of the most gorgeous smile i have seen.. he is a better actor than most of the jdrama high-school genre male leads.. most of them have stone face and same expression.. also even though he mostly does live action movies of animes his choice of roles are better and not the same..

one of the main reasons why the show is running for 14 yrs is undoubtedly the chemistry b/w the leads and the bond they share and of course the cast.. supernatural shows family bond that is not very commonly seen in most of the american dramas.. its very constant.. its not like out of site, out of mind kind of thing.. the brothers still mourn over all the people they lost and the pain is evident whenever they are mentioned..
also supernatural has one of the most non-problematic cast ever.. they all are good actors and likable onscreen and offscreen..

i totally agree on bof.. it is an extremely regressive and sexist story.. i first saw the korean one and i thought i didnt like it because of the female actress.. her acting was way too cringe-worthy.. but then i tried the latest chinese version and i still hate it.. the cast is good but the story is o bad.. how can this one be so popular..
in playful kiss( another drama i dont like) atleast the male lead dont try to rape her or physically assault her.. in bof the girl gets nearly raped multiple times and one time by the lead guy himself.. the worst thing about the show is they constantly show the girl to be high on morals and self respect but she tops the list of 'zero self respect female lead ever'. atleast in playful kiss the girl is not shown to have any self respect at all.. she was dumb and everyone around her including herself agrees on it..


about cliches, most of the kdramas that are successful comes under rom-com genre and rom-coms around the world have cliches and extremely predictable.. so i personally dont give much notice to the cliches..

i tried to watch 4 gender-bender dramas, to the beautiful you, you are beautiful, sukgwangu scandal and coffee prince and i could only finish watching coffee prince.. it was the only one that was kind of believable.. the female lead was always tomboyish and didn't purposefully dressed up as a guy until she wanted a job at the cafe and the lead guy himself assumed her to be a guy.. also by the one half itself more than half of the people knew she was a girl.. the only thing i appreciate about 'to the beautiful you' is the male lead having a brain and figuring out himself that he was sharing a room with a girl.. he was one of the first to figure out 'its a girl'.. sukgwangu scandal was kind of nice at the start but i kind of lost interest in it.. i guess thats because i liked the 2nd and 3rd lead more interesting than the lead guy.. he was quite boring..

kdramas are the best asian dramas (as off whole asian continent) and indian dramas are the worst in the world (am indian myself).. there are a lot of amazing british and american dramas like sherlock, crown, supernatural, got etc.. they are on a whole different level..
sucessful kdramas are most from only one genre and thats rom-com.. one of the disadvantage of kdramas is they try to inject romance in all the dramas even of its not necessary..

i loved the first half of goblin but kind of lost interest towards the end.. i lived all the characters except the female lead.. the character was kind of irritating and the actress didnt suit the role.. i was kind of disappointed in her since i started watching goblin solely because i loved her in cheese in the trap.. the comedy scenes were amazing and the storyline till the entire mystery revelation was amazing but kind of got boring around the time goblin dies and comes back.. also they should have given more time to sunny and grim reaper.. their storyline and chemistry was much better than the lead couple.. i loved the bromance b/w the lead guys..

i completely agree on the body shamming and beauty standards and bullying.. its way too much..

he is extremely good at emotional scenes

bong bong- min min is more than enough for this to get an 8.8. they are that adorable.

the power of the leads. their chemistry was strong enough to make this drama a domestic and international success.

watched the first 2 episodes and i liked it.
hyung sik is doing a good job.
his character is so much different from swdbs.
i have seen the first 2-3 seasons of suits a long time back and only remember the overall story and form the 2 episodes it seems they are being truthful to the original.
i am curious to know how they are gonna sum up 7 season show into 16 episodes.
i am not getting the chemistry b/w hyung sik and korean rachel. with short hair he looks younger than her. (dont know if its coz am still stuck up with the puppy couple)

I am not completely againdt idols doing acting but they should first take up minor roles untill they are decent enough to play major roles. Yoona was only better than her previous roles and neither too good or too bad in the king loves. A professional actor could have done a better job. Most of the terrible professional actors dont get to play lead roles like idols do. As i told you there are very few exceptions and i agree eujin isalso of those exceptions.
Majority of the people liked phs in hwarang and the only problem was his character got butchered by the middle of the drama.
Out of the idol actors from last year phs was the best and if we look at the improvement of yoona andphs as actors, phs is far more superior than yoona
