Title The Princess Royal Spoiler
Picked this back up after putting it on hold after a while. I'm quite enjoying it until episode 10. I've read…
They keep mentioning how they don't know whether what they are experiencing is a dream (or if their previous life was the dream all along).

Title Neko Zamurai
If you've watched the first season, then the movie is a retelling of season 1.
He meets Tama in this movie, just like in Season 1, but it has different characters / a different story.

Title Be Yourself
i miss this drama so much. I need a drama like this. any recommendations like this drama ?
If you want to watch a drama with roommates that are older and all have their own character arc / growth that can be frustrating to watch from time to time then I recommend Ode to Joy XD . They have the rich smart girl / beautiful girl / bratty girl / etc. but slightly different than in this drama.

The first 2 seasons have the same cast, then last 2 seasons have a different cast, so newer stories. i've only watched the first 3 and I heard there might be a S5.

Tbh I don’t think math is what they were looking for. I feel like science would’ve been a better integration…
I also thought that science in general would've been a better fit, but maybe that was harder to visualize. Regardless, it was a fun watch and had that 'typical Jdrama feel' to it.

Title Mask Girl
I've been watching dramas for a long time (12+ years) and I scratch my head when people say 'Kdramas used to be…
Kdramas couldn't be as graphic as Kmovies in the past due to moderate to heavy censorship and later due to involvement from their sponsors. Stuff couldn't get aired on the major broadcasting stations if they didn't comply with the rules. If their themes were too dark, it was likely not aired on one of the major stations or not aired at all. That's why my argument wasn't that Kdramas used to be very graphic / violent.
Instead I argued that ppl often say that Kdramas (media) were 'pure and innocent,' which just disregards that darker themes have always been a thing in Korean media.

Kmovies had a lot less interference from censor- and sponsorship, so they could get away with a lot more.
Kdramas had to deal with a lot of censor- and sponsorship (from certain themes or scenes to certain items like knifes or cigarettes).
With streaming platforms the directors / producers / writers of Kdramas didn't really need to consider removing those scenes anymore (and treat them similar to Kmovies).

I'm not defending or arguing against this choice. I don't really care for very graphic or violent scenes, so I usually avoid those. I went in blind in this drama and I ended up skipping lots of scenes.

I wish I had specific examples for you of Kdramas with darker themes, as our watchlists are probably different. I didn't keep track of dramas in that way (but even some popular dramas before 2018 had darker themes), so maybe someone else can help you with that.

This might be random, but can someone make an article and discussion about the weird bandwagon hate of some kdrama…
I've been watching dramas for a long time (12+ years) and I scratch my head when people say 'Kdramas used to be so innocent'... Maybe it's the Kdramas I used to watch/I heard about, but Kdramas weren't always 'pure and innocent'.

If you also viewed Kmovies back then... those could get really graphic (and some were really disturbing). Indeed, the "dark thriller" theme has always been a thing in Korean media.

God Almighty I watched Ep. 46 subs for the Joon-ha scenes (actor Jung Eui Jae is doing great) but was so pissed…
The same thing bothered me too. The only other "logical" explanation I can think of is that she knew what it was like to grow up as a child who was adopted and the discrimination you get because of it. She didn't want her 'adopted' child to go through the same and wanted to wait to tell him when he was older.... only, the parents died before then.

Maybe I'm giving the writers too much credit :')

Oomph, as soon as I saw the first game of the final quest and how everyone was positioned, I feared that Kim Mincheol wouldn't make it and it happened exactly how I imagined... Still impressive that he was able to get rid of his lock so quickly.

I noticed that some of the final 20 were missing. I hope none of them got injured in the end.
