Interesting. So there will be two Netflix K original series in February? This one and Jisoo's new series? I'm…
The release date of Boyfriend On Demand is still unknown, and it's very unlikely for two releases to be so close together. Netflix will probably reveal their lineup at the end of the month or in early Feb.
Can someone explain to me why the native title is Lady Dua? Is it a wordplay about Lady Dior bags? It seems more…
Yes, I'm guessing she created a knock off version of Dior, hence Lady "Doir". Perhaps they changed the english title due to restrictions on imitating an actual brand name. Funnily, the Chinese title is different too: 莎拉的真偽人生 which literally means "Sarah's Real or Fake Life".
Now THIS is a good poster. Unlike the others we've been seeing recently.
Frankly I don't think this poster is anything amazing (not a fan of the white), but it's still better than the recent posters that look AI generated lol
I am enjoying how unconventional and heartfelt this drama is, but also not a huge fan of the recent addition of the ML's messy ex. Also, it never really processed for me that two years had passed since ep 1.
The greatest parts of the drama were the action scenes. They nailed the edginess with pumpy music and great choreography, the fight scenes were so satisfying to watch. Plot wise, it was quite predictable and the ending was pretty messy. However, it was still entertaining for the most part with a standout performance from Park Heesoon. 8/10
Goodness, that sounds scary. I heard that it is tricky to completely recover hearing loss especially if it is treated too late. Hope he recovers and gets enough rest.
Wow, episode 11 sure reminds me of a movie with Shin Hye Sun that I saw on Tubi called "Don't Buy the Seller"…
Yeah I noticed that as well. The whole sequence of events seemed identical except for the victim being pregnant. It felt kinda odd since iirc, the plot of the movie was dramatized and based on multiple real-life cases, not a single case. Also, on your mention of the writer/creator, the director-screenwriter of that movie unfortunately passed away this year due to illness.
I liked it a lot, it was quite emotionally heavy but I could see the love under the complex, broken family relationship. I could really empathise with all the characters, especially Seo Hyunjin's character and her dad. I was actually not expecting the plot to move this fast but it is great!
I understood the vision of this film, but I don't think it made a good viewing experience. As a software engineer, the second half was just logically flawed. It was baffling to watch.
This 😅😅I'll just prioritize other soon to air kdramas (they're so many airing in january-february lol) and…
Actually, it looks more like a hallmark Hollywood romance movie... the kind that relies on fancy backdrops and vibes to cover up an utterly basic plot 😅 Hope I'm wrong, and such shows can still be done well, but I will wait for reviews before watching too.
