I'm liking this even more after ep 3. Hopefully it won't turn into a romance drama though

Funny how the character Yo Han is played by Byun Yo Han.

Mine was the old couple for sure, their relationship was beautiful. Frankly, the middle couple still has to work on some things, and the youngest brother needs to change himself for the better.

Overall, this was a good show with a bittersweet but beautiful ending. The characters were flawed but relatable to an extent (well, except for a certain bitch lol), and the journey to overcoming the countless obstacles they met was meaningful. I wondered if it was necessary to make the dad experience such misery that he didn't deserve and I really felt for him. But I guess it's conveying that we should brave through whatever comes our way and enjoy things while they last.

His main appeal was his perfect image. As long as he maintained it, he would have easily seen even more success (and money). This was a very foolish decision on his part

I don't think Netflix will cancel or postpone this. Koreans may boycott but I doubt international fans will care about the scandal.

At least this one switched it up a little and only made them switch an hour per day lol

I have watched 2 somewhat similar shows: Inventing Anna (American) and Anna (Korean). Inventing Anna was too obnoxious and... american while Anna was too slow and underdeveloped for my taste. I hope this one hits the sweet spot.

TD3's audience jumped ship to The Judge Returns on MBC, as it airs at the same time and had a surge to 10%. SBS is known for its work dramas rather than romcoms.

Fun first episode, the haircut was a bad choice though 😂

I'm on episode 5 and personally, the scenery shots are the only standouts here. This is a very typical romcom and it doesn't use its translation theme to elevate its plot. I don't exactly see the chemistry between the two of them either. I think the single drop doesn't really work for this show as I don't have the urge to continue watching.

Tbh I didn't finish the show, so I'm not the best judge. But we won't know how much the edits affected the story, I did remember it being quite lacklustre/jumbled and YAI's acting in his remaining scenes was good as usual. Overall it was probably poor writing that was the biggest flaw

To be fair to him, he had to edit the lead actor's scenes out of GE which affected its quality.

Apparently it's a makeup trend... One that I'll never understand lol
