I commented on the lack of romantic chemistry or the forced chemistry between Baekho and Jangmi, soon after FM…
I agree esp on the forced chemistry. I've watched most of Eunjung's dramas, as well as a previous drama by the same writer where Bakho's actor was the male lead. I never thought either of them excelled at romance or chemistry, but it was never this bland. Maybe it's the sloppy writing, or maybe both leads need a stronger co star to bring out their performances. That could be why the romance feels much flatter here than in their other works.
I wonder if the lack of romance between the two leads is due to the fact that both the actors got recently married(not to each other!). Or it could just be because it is a daily drama.
I rewatched this after 10 years and realized I completely missed the scene where Baek Ah meets Wook's daughter. Where did she come from, and why did she remind him of Woo Hee? When I googled it, the AI summary claimed she was Baek Ah and Woo Hee's daughter, which left me even more confused I think I was so upset by the ending when the drama first aired that I completely overlooked that scene. It was honestly a struggle to watch it when it aired, cause I had to wait every week xDD
I'd really appreciate it if anyone could share their thoughts or insights about that scene. I'm curious about how others interpreted it because I'm still a bit confused after rewatching.
