Samee!! everything after that drama were a little to bland or resembled daily makjang dramas, esp Beauty and Mr. Romantic.. that drama gave me a brain aneurysm xDDD
And yes, glad they are finally getting more screen time 😆
Gosh, calm down. 😅 It's not that dramatic,it's just a different culture, and it works for them.Although it…
😂 Ngl, your crash out was pretty entertaining, so thanks for that. Not me wasting my time typing my pov, cause I thought we were just having a discussion, but Ig not.
Go ahead and block me. I'm gonna miss your unhinged comments tho. 😂
Thank you @potatoes_uwu for clearly explaining about @InspectorMegre on his unfair harsh opinion about this drama.…
They're entitled to their opinion, and I just wanted to share my perspective because their comment felt overly critical and like they lost the plot. The drama isn't perfect, but I don't think it deserves such a negative/absurd review. Maybe I'm biased, but I really love both families and the friendship between them, despite all their flaws. I honestly wish I had a warm and wholesome family like that.

At its core, this is a family drama, so the focus is naturally on family dynamics. Families, especially in conservative societies where traditions, values, and expectations run deep, are complicated. People are messy, even within the same family. They all have different personalities, priorities, beliefs, and goals, so situations are rarely black and white. Sometimes people make irrational or frustrating decisions.
Is it fair? No. But human behaviour isn't something you can judge by pure logic. Emotions are messy, and people don't always make rational decisions. If everyone made the perfect choices, there wouldn't be a story.
The younger characters are trying to keep the peace and preserve their family's harmony, not because they're forced to, but because they choose not to be the reason someone they love gets hurt. Likewise, the older generation is trying to protect and care for them in the only way they know how, based on the values they've lived by. No one is truly evil, they're just people with different beliefs, experiences, and perspectives.
Living within a family and society isn't as simple as choosing yourself every time, people aren't machines. I think that's ultimately what this drama is trying to portray, the complexity of balancing your own values with those of your family and society. The younger characters could stand up for themselves if they made up their minds. It's not that they're incapable,it's that they're considerate of the people they love and have been raised with a mix of their own beliefs and the values of the older generation.
Personally, I'd much rather see them break up temporarily and slowly work toward convincing their families than make impulsive decisions that only deepen the resentment and destroy the harmony of both families.
Also, I genuinely think these are some of the most wholesome families I've seen in family dramas. No one is outright selfish or wants to destroy their children's happiness. They're simply navigating a difficult situation in the best way they know how to.

Before I say anything, I just want to make it clear that I'm not trying to argue,I'm simply sharing my perspective on this drama. I have my own likes and dislikes regarding both the leads and the storyline too. But, I think your comments come across as if you either haven't watched the drama or experienced it very differently from most of us in the comment section.I think it's a bit unfair, and maybe even pointless, to judge a drama for focusing on family dynamics when that's the whole premise. It's like watching a horror movie and expecting a rom com,not the best analogy, but you get the idea xD
I commented on the lack of romantic chemistry or the forced chemistry between Baekho and Jangmi, soon after FM…
Baekho's actor is in one of the previous dramas of the writer of first man, and that drama was.. intense xD Baek Sung Hyun is such a good actor, glad he returned to acting. I watched the first few episodes just for Ahn Hyo Seop, but the story was kinda bland so I gave up :( hehe he really is well built and I am always weak when it comes to tall men xDD
I was looking forward to it too :(
And yes, glad they are finally getting more screen time 😆
