One question though? Is the drama anti Buddhist by any chance since the evil perpetrators are shown practicing…
I don't think so, I think the purpose was more apathetic towards religion in general since dong eun felt like god hadn't helped her when she was being bullied. The same with the portrayal of Christianity and Sara's family
i'm going to keep watching bc it's only the first episode but why was the cinematography and editing so subpar?? i thought this drama had a high budget, and it's the most anticipated drama of the year, yet they hired bad editors? some of the conversations cut shots back and forth 5 times in 20 seconds and didn't even focus on who was speaking at the moment. and the constant moving shots from the ceiling or from behind as a character is walking 🥴 giving me motion sickness. i feel like most viewers who didn't like the first episode would've liked it more had the cinematography and editing been better
Just answer my comment, instead of cowardly post an evasive one...(I could say... evasive like is the drama, lol!)
there's only 24 hours in a day and you're spending your time lurking in the comment section of a show you don't even like guuuuuuuuurl watch something else
this show is such a weird and wonderful surprise, i didn't expect to like it so much and i didn't expect it to be so stupid and FUNNY. i didn't like the multiple povs earlier in the show but i don't mind them so much now bc the characters grew on me, and sure the plot isn't really going anywhere but the antics are very entertaining, i wouldn't mind if the plot just meandered about until ep 16 as long as it keeps making me laugh.
