Ghosting Yingtao, idk, it's so complicated. I can't say until I watch the future episodes. But he absolutely is NOT a coward. And he was definitely forced because of the situation. Keep yourself at his place and you'll understand better.

Yeah maybe because the drama is set 15 years back. Also, they never really got to 'love' each other, seeing Qiaoxi's situation. They were always apart so-

Well you think that. We all don't know what actually happened and what he actually was thinking. But I still believe he was a new adult and life threw stones at him right away with no person around him. He was clueless. I mean how could you expect a person to act according to you in such a bad situation?

About that good life thing, it was just an example. By that I meant he couldn't keep her happy (if you read my comment above you'll get it). That's what he thought. That's what a normal human being thinks regardless of the gender

He came back that day with absolutely no intention of meeting anyone. Yingtao and Qiaoxi accidentally met that day and he was forced to lie. He couldn't out of the blue blurt out his current problems all of a sudden and freak out her more when she was just expecting to see him. He didn't have any choice you see

And you think she wouldn't freak out? 😂 She would be hell bent on finding where he is (which she eventually does in the future episodes). And that's what he never wanted. Ever heard of flaws?

No I don't think he gave her false hopes. When a person is in crisis, he/she only thinks about the present and not the future. Jiang Qiaoxi was just 18 when all these things occurred. And I hope you know children at 18 aren't mature enough to make life decisions (because their pre-frontal lobe isn't developed, involves science i know lol). Plus, he always had a troubled family especially his mother. When he was at the peak of his life to achieve happiness, the tables turned down and everything went the opposite way. You can't blame him. A person in some other place far away, living alone with so many struggles, only a hope to cling on to that things would get better someday, you can't expect him to do everything perfectly. Just look at his situation and everything's justified. I don't know his thoughts exactly (we'll see in the following episodes) but he thinks he can't give a good life to Yingtao but he loves her and doesn't want her to forget him because they were a huge part of each other's lives. Also forgetting or not forgetting a person is upon ourselves very honestly. Sometimes we never forget a person who just played a small part in our lives even if it didn't matter much or even if that person never asked them to remember them. And sometimes we forget some major people in our lives, simply because we choose to. Yingtao doesn't want to forget Qiaoxi, even if he had never asked to remember him, she still would've been always thinking about him because it's totally her own choice.

False hopes??? He did love her, literally did. And he planned to study abroad and come back of course. Dude, he didn't dream or know about the upcoming crisis of his life. So where did the 'false hope' come from? He never knew he was going to suffer.
People calling Jiang Qiaoxi coward because he left Yingtao because he was struggling with major financial problems is so stupid. You don't know how it really feels like to deal with such problems. In reality, it happens. It's so sick to think that a person is a coward if he leaves someone because of shortage of money. Do y'all even know how mentally and emotionally exhausting it actually is. And sometimes physically too. When you yourself aren't happy then how are you supposed to make the person you love happy? Tell me. And I think that's what Jiang Qiaoxi thought too.
Can somebody please tell me, why did Jiang Qiaoxi take Yingtao's necklace. I'm still wondering why. Is it because to keep her in his memory or something else??
Today's episode was a banger!!! 😭 Zhang Linghe's face my god, that worn out look and of course his acting, TOP NOTCH 🙇🏻♀️💁🏻♀️ And Yu Qiao looking for him through whole of Hong Kong to finally meeting him and that whole conversation with Jiang Qiaoxi, I lovedddd itt 😭😭 Can't deny what a great actor Yu Sheng is too when it's his debut 😭🙏🏻
Yeah for the fl someone did, and it's so similar to her real voice that it was almost unrecognisable
See, there are many reasons chinese dramas are dubbed. It may be because of the actor who's not too fluent in Chinese or maybe had some accent or dialect so they dub for him/her (as chinese dramas feature standard mandarin language). Or, it may be because the actor's voice doesn't suit or looks incompatible to his face (happens a lot when they need a good face card for the drama but voice doesn't suit so they bring over dubbing artists)
keeps on getting better and better. The storyline, the acting, the music it's all so PERFECT!!!!
