Yes yes yessss!!! Go Go Squid!! That's literally my all time favourite drama πβ₯οΈ And that's what made him my favourite actor and that's also what made me die over Li Xian and Yang Zi (β β₯β οΉβ β₯β ) They are perfect with each other, no, more than perfect!!!!!! No one in this industry has the type of chemistry they share, especially offscreen ππβ₯οΈβ₯οΈ

Most people are not into slow-burns. Even I was not (until I watched Flourished Peony π₯Ή). They wish to see more of the "dating" period, which of course wasn't too long in this drama. But the story was beautiful, like B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L!!! Only if people have more patience and wait, they'll see how beautiful the story is. I mean you don't just want to see the couple, do you? The friendship and the difficulties, the mother-son relationship, etc, I think people couldn't have the patience. What? Do you want the couple to start kissing within 6-7 episodes of the drama or what?? π And who the hell is saying they don't have chemistry!!! My god. I could only see their happy chemistry both offscreen and onscreen!!!!

You know what, let me admit that too. I think they had better chemistry. When I watch multiple dramas of an actor, there's always one costar who fits them perfectly, like their chemistry is out of the world. And yeahhh Zhang Linghe had more chemistry with Jinmai than Ruohan (they were good too but still not better than this)
The people disappointed don't have taste in dramas then π I cried, you cried, we all cried, so beautiful π
I actually never read the novel but still found the drama beautiful. People don't have patience these days I guess. They keep on wanting picture-perfect stories. I mean, nothing is perfect- And the flaws in the drama is one of the things that make it more beautiful! β₯οΈ
At some moment, it felt like Zhang Linghe had more chemistry with Jinmai than Xu Ruohan from The Best Thing πβ₯οΈ I am a great fan of that drama but I couldn't help but think of this ππ
