I doubt that I would watch it alone, but I think it's a good drama to watch with younger siblings ~

Such a good rating and after three episodes I do not understand why.
Beautiful and sugary, wonderful actors, yet no chemistry. They keep speaking about the same points over and over again. 1 hour 20 minutes per episode? I feel it is the biggest problem of the show. It would be perfect as 45 minutes per episode because writers and directors would feel no need to add filler to reach the needed duration.
Perfect for watching at 1.5 speed and skipping some scenes. Yet I will not waste my time with this.

Instead of Priest, one might enjoy the The Guest with attractive Kim Jae Wook ♥

It was hard to connect with characters
main girl was plain and her acting was questionable
It felt bland compared to Signal and Tunnel tv series

Noup, kiss wasn't in manga. Manga Kuranosuke is more platonic or so. I fastly flipped through manga and they changed/cutted off plot details and few things more then I expected, but I suppose only fresh readers would notice them.

Tbh that kiss... Wasn't in manga, or so I remember. Going to check that out.

I read manga few years ago, and yes, it's mostly accurate, they changed few minor details, cutted off some cartoonish quirks and so on, but plotwise it is accurate, a bit more dramatic, but accurate.

At first I thought that it's sequel to the movie, but as it seems it is entirely new cast! Anyways, even if you watched a movie you can have a lot of fun with this drama, it is more expanded adaptation of manga. New cast is doing great job and Seto Koji is doing wonderfully as Kuranosuke!
