People were invested into the lackluster romance? Male lead is flavorless, thank god it wasn't a feature. They should've removed romance altogether. I was more invested into his relationship with second lead, than main lead.

I just can't bring myself to demonize _bbbfamous she was like a genie, which made dreams come true and yet we aren't supposed to root for her. It was truth, influencers are capitalistic shitheads which make people feel worse about themselves.

I assumed that this drama would make at least some deeper point about influencer culture, but by episode 10 I lost interest (not only because the main twists were quite obvious ones), but also because I wasn't invested in characters or romance or anything anymore. It doesn't matter because the twist, the reveals, everything became clear.
The ending was lackluster. In general, I was enjoying the show as our lead was climbing the influencer ladder, but this show should've been shorter.

From what I remember, in manga it was platonic friendship between angel and Tomoda, so don't expect explicit declarations of love or anything of sorts; Unless jdrama gonna make it different? Or maybe in more recent volumes the BL vibes are more blatant?

I love the vibes!! Because I adore the manga this jdrama is a true blessing! For anyone that don't want to wait for new episodes, go read the manga, it is translated and it is pretty fun!

I didn't like anime adaptation that much, but this live-action has a delightful atmosphere and cinematography! It as an easy watch and it had a decent pace.

The chemistry between both leads was just- delightful! I wish it was a main couple and they sustained toxic relationship of theirs~ It would've been a delight to watch!

The only critique I have for Mask Girl is that it feels like three actresses are playing different characters. It doesn't feel like they collaborated with each other on what kind of quirks Kim Momi will have throughout the ages.

Exactly, top rated movies or dramas always feature popular main leads, but in some cases, they are not worth 8 or 9. It annoys me dearly how mediocre scenario can be in top if they have good-looking leads.
