that ep 5 ending tho... anyone here read the original manga? ive only watched the anime, so a lot of this is new…
I read manga few years ago, and yes, it's mostly accurate, they changed few minor details, cutted off some cartoonish quirks and so on, but plotwise it is accurate, a bit more dramatic, but accurate.
At first I thought that it's sequel to the movie, but as it seems it is entirely new cast! Anyways, even if you watched a movie you can have a lot of fun with this drama, it is more expanded adaptation of manga. New cast is doing great job and Seto Koji is doing wonderfully as Kuranosuke!
Yay, finally somebody did one for KJW, thaaank you~ He is amazing! I hope to see him in more interesting roles! He was such sweetie in Antique and such delight in Voice!
Oh and besides, Baek Jun herself is it fault that she doesn't explain things to Byun Hyuk. She only screams at him, and punches and etc. Like... Of course he acts the same and do same mistakes! He still doesn't understand what he made wrong. I bet if she said something like "I can't take this money because I didn't earned" or "Please, leave my family metters alone"then... I bet he wouldn' do stuff like that. He is kept in a dark, his family done same thing and look he is in child state...well maybe more like naive, artist like, ya kno? Dreamer. If characters don't act way you want, it doesn mean that it's bad writing tbh.
