Decided to revisit this while I’m watching “My Heroic Husband” and after having withdrawals from “Mr. Queen”. Can’t believe people are still talking about this!!! Good for all the cast & crew! What a hit! After you watch this and feel unsatisfied, I recommend to watch the two tv series I mentioned which are similar to this. You can also deep dive with the cheesiness of “Eternal Love”.

their board of national tv who screens whether a tv show is suitable for mass media made it part of their rules/regulations. the series wont get to air in tv as they'll disapprove it. so usually, series with explicit time travel just becomes web drama. I think they made this into law after the hit drama Scarlet Heart (bu bu jing xin) wherein the whole China watched it (and lead to some suicide).

i'm in episode 17 already, are y'all saying that the bandit arc is still ongoing on episode 22?!

are they even gonna be real husband and wife in this season 1? lol.

some uneducated rural folks thought what they watched in tv dramas were real and committed suicide because they thought time travel was real
