What about movies? I heard Korean movies don't have as many restrictions and tend to be about as explicit…
Movies are definitely a lot more loose than TV.

Thank you for the great article ( and recommendations I might add)! I always found it weird how many dramas are…
Ah, you've put my thoughts into words better than me :)

I agree with all of this even if I guiltily enjoy TTBY on days where I don't want to think too hard, I know objectively…
You worded this all so much better than I ever could have. Thanks for this comment!

Honestly, I was annoyed at first with the amnesia in Time Between Dog and Wolf, but it got better and better as that arc went on, and it became very enjoyable and emotional.

Totally agree for the vilain vampire Gwi played by Lee Soo Hyuk, he was just dead gorgeous in this role.
'Dead' gorgeous, and he's a vampire lol ;)

So there's no character tropes for women, or are there just no women characters, or did you just not look at women…
I do realize that there are very few women on the list. The difficulty in including them lies in the fact that there are actually very few female leads, or even side characters, that I've liked. Most of my favorite characters are male, and that's because they're usually the most fleshed out. I wish more female characters were written well. They're just too few and far between for me to have stumbled upon them. Thank you for commenting!
