Title I Hear You
Henry Lau and Aaron Yan are classically trained violinists and speak Mandarin
Who's Aaron Yan? Is he one of the actors? And I wouldn't label Henry Lau as a violinist. He sure can play but he's not one.

This movie was a bit strange to me. It was a curious mix of melodrama and comedy which might be a hit-or-miss…
I couldn't have said it better

Title I Hear You
I agreeeeeeeeeeee. I genuinely had to skip the scenes with him playing the violin.
I had to drop the drama. Ruined it for me tbh. Hard to take it seriously when they themselves dont.

Plus is it just Netflix version or is the start really confusing? I feel like I was thrown in the middle of it and couldnt figure out what's happening

Is it really so expensive to hire a violinist to play in place of the ML? I cringe at the sight of him holding a violin, let alone "play" one. And he's supposed to be a luthier too... smgdh

Actually, it's not as easy as it seems. Negotiating with a terrorist is a big no-no. It's not about…
I would have love to discuss this movie with you but I honestly don't remember it anymore - just bits and pieces.

and ignore this but
A NOTIFICATION FROM A REPLY TO MY COMMENT IN A DRAMA PAGE What is this?? Did they fix the issue or what??

Ha! I received a notification for this. Nice. Anyway, I'm not sure I'm seeing what you're seeing... I only see 2 comments: mine and yours. Am I supposed to see something or what?

Speculations? U mean that he is lying about his condition?Honestly I don't think that he is the lying type since…
I'm not implying anything. I'm just saying there's very little we know of the situation to assume that his current condition was the result of his method acting. I completely forgot that the company released an official statement as to what has happened in the press con so it's true that it's not much of a stretch to deduce that it was aftereffects of method acting but still, we don't really know the whole story. You may or may not be right. I just thought it would have been better to introduce his situation as a possible example for your article, not as a real example.

P.S. I wish my words will not discourage you from writing more articles in the future and if I offend you in some way, let me apologise now :)

Aren't all these just speculations though? No one really know what his illness is or if his current condition was brought upon by method acting or if he was employing method acting at all. Let's not create our own narrative. Let's just pray for his full recovery and return to good health.

How tidy their dumb houses/apartments/rooms are. This is one thing Jdramas do well - they leave at least a BIT…
And even there is a clutter, it's an organised clutter. Like it was props for a pictorial or something. Everything in Kdrama is just too pretty. You're supposed to be poor but you have a well-kept garden (Oh Hae Young again), fully furnished rooftop houses (Rooftop Prince a two-storey one at that!!), and a picturesque basement (Mary Stayed Out All Night)

"too guilty to apologise". Exactly. Because Buddhist teachings are not too big on forgiveness. Because asking one would be absolving themselves of their wrongdoings. It's why we always hear the lines, "I have no right to ask for forgiveness." It's all about perspective. Imo, the society puts too much pressure to the 'victims' to forgive and for the 'sinners' to ask for forgiveness. Just let anyone be. Let them feel what they feel, yknow?

I know! Somehow whenever I read an article with an "Asian" on the title and see no Japan/Japanese in the content,…
I know but it feels like it. At least, here in MDL community where global feeds and articles are mostly flooded by Korean content. Even the Top Airing and Top Rated shows are mostly from Korea with a sprinkle of Chinese and Thai.

I mean, there's really no one to blame since it's mostly shift in trends. It just makes me feel sad, is all.

Finally, someone writes about Jdrama tropes.
I know! Somehow whenever I read an article with an "Asian" on the title and see no Japan/Japanese in the content, I feel disappointed and sad. It feels like we're in the minority lol
