That has nothing to do with it, the ending could still be the same but it wouldn't have caused any pain to give it mass depth or complexity. It felt predictable to me.
I made it to the final thanks to WYL's performance, CP chemistry, and the visuals (of course 😂). I expected more complexity in the characters and their lifes. Probably if they had extended it to more episodes it wouldn't have felt so rushed.

Most of these 40-something actors don't look as if they were in their thirties or younger, they use filters to reduce years like Namkoong Min in Our Movie, Vengo Gao in his vampire drama, and others (populars) that I'd better not mention because their fans will jump on me.
Chen Feiyu doesn't look boyish to me, but I don't think he fits Dilraba visually. But I'll still watch it because I like the novel.
Not necessarily but I love it when there are idol actors who have acting chops. Beauty + talent is always impressive to me. But as I wrote before, I'll watch this drama if the plot and characters hook me!

It's good that you are consistent. Some people here suffer because Dilraba is older than Chen Feiyu, but then they are happy watching 40-something men paired with women in their 20s in dramas. Lol.
Both leads look good. The woman in particular gives me ethereal vibes in the trailer. But for me, neither of them are strong in acting. I at least expect the plot to be good or engaging, as the visuals are already assured.

The paparazzi were sanctioned by the court after a long process. Being a nepo baby, he did suffer certain consequences in the unveiling of his latest movies and dramas. His followers on Weibo also went down. But I agree, obviously his father's influence helped the impact to be less strong.
Nah. Realistically, he could deserve less than this. But he has backers and his father, what a win. It's typical of Chinese entertainment: the importance of numbers and not talent. He uses the same mannerisms in almost all his dramas. His acting range is small. But he agreed to work with her, so I guess he is aware of his limitations (?)
