Sae Yi literally moved her home to maybe get with a dude who already has a girlfriend. Thats some psychotic stalker vibes, she might kill the dude if he keeps making progress in his relationship.
Honestly don’t think he was an a$$. He could have gave her 4$ & leave it at that or she could have said no &…
I get that he's supposed to be abrasive but a nice dude, and all the shit that happened was just an excuse for them to hang out and develop chemistry but it was done in such a hamfisted way. It felt so forced and broke all immersion.
Am I the only one who thought the dude was a dick to the girl for no reason? When she asked him to help her with the shoe, he was a dick for no reason while she was pretty reasonable. Next time, she faced a problem due to the entire town literally malfunctioning, and he was a dick again for 4 bucks? wtf?
This show is so badly written. The relationship between the characters has literally not changed one bit in the past 14 episodes. Its like a stupid formula at this point. Kang Yo Han does outrageous shit as usual > that useless old judge/grillfriend throws a bitch fit > Kim Ga On throws a bitch fit> Bad guys do outrageous shit> Kang Yo Han and Kim Ga On kiss and make up>Kang Yo Han does outrageous shit and so on.
The show started off good but gone downhill in the last 5 episodes or so. They're trying super hard to be edgy and it doesn't seem to work. The whole good guy Kim Ga On gone bad is so cringe, that dude doesn't know how to act I think. Every time he opens his mouth, I can't stop cringing. And his 'grillfriend' piles more cringe on top. Whenever these two are there, the show gets noticeably less fun to watch.
The ep 15 was a huge missed opportunity to have Do Hak Song interact with the egg ghost. The implications of ghosts being real is that you don't actually get away with shit, since the ghosts who are literally invulnerable can follow you and torment you. So it was a good chance to explore the egg ghost interacting with their creator but it went in the least interesting direction. Sad :(
The ML is Doom/Destruction. So it’s natural for him to be like that.
Lol what, this dude is a textbook tsundere, the whole point is that he does feel stuff but he denies it. But then it would make no sense since he literally has had eternity to figure his shit out but now a random girl is going to make all the difference. I just don't like the gimmick where the dude is all mean and angsty and the brunt of it is dealt by the female lead who is so kind and compassionate and will 'change' the male lead. This is why serial killers like ted bundy got tons of attention and fan mails from his 'fans'. Probably best not to look to deeply into this since it'll fall apart under scrutiny.
This drama has been consistently good. I loved that they leaned in a lot harder into the MCs past than the conflict with the construction dude. It gave a lot more meaning to the ghosts and also an insight into how the ghost thing works.
This is another one of those shows where abusive behavior from the male lead is somehow construed to be romantic. And tolerating and accepting being abused as 'love'. Ugh this drama feels gross to watch.
You are spot on about her being weak. Sadly though to get ahead, women who are up there in the ranks dominated by men (for example in high executive positions) are often even more vicious than the men since they have something to prove, so it may have some basis in reality.
Last episodes was actually great. Have to say that little part of Jang Jun Woo lying motionless on the chair with the sunlight coming through the windows, and the crow cawing, the whole thing was pretty poetic and beautiful.
Show continues to be a disspointment :( They had something good but instead of ending it when it was still fresh, they just decided to drag it. There are so many unnecessary things happening now, so many scenes that are there just to fill the runtime. This show needs a skilled editor who can cut out all the crap. The core of episodes now are 15 minutes or so.
That's what a good show will become if the writer force it to be as long as it should never be. Dragging an already…
I feel you man, the show was great in the start and setup was so good, characters were all pretty entertaining but the plot from the Jang Jun Woo reveal till now has remained static, nothing has really happened, just filler until Vincenzo wins at the end, but I'm sure he'll not win cleanly, theres gonna be some lame twist so that the writer can feel that the drag was worth it.
