Finished eps 18 in a day. Wow I can't wait how they're going to unravel her identity and who gets to know it first! I particularly want to know LYQ's reaction once he knows it's really HER.
This rookie drama is surprisingly good!! Didn't expect much since I was just passing time waiting from all my ongoing list of dramas but this definitely kept me up at night! Worth the bingewatch!

When Shiyi was walking up the stairs in the tower, it felt like I was seeing Bai Qian in TMOPB as she was walking to throw herself into the hole to forget Ye Hua. Although similar, both FLs' intentions were different but both definitely made me emotional.
I originally didn't want to watch this because I don't watch any of Allen Ren's drama since I don't feel any chemistry with his FLs but I made an exception because of Bai Lu. They really did a great job and the story was heartfelt.

I like that they have a healthy relationship so far and they compliment each other. I also like that her manager isn't like the other ones in dramas, where a mgr restricts a celebrity's every movement. It's refreshing to see without all the you-can't-date-cause-you're-a-celebrity thing. Will wait how the story and their romance unfold.
I actually couldn't finish Love and Redemption because I liked his chemistry more with Crystal imo. They finally have another xianxia drama so I'm definitely anticipating this!!
Liked him since Legends, up until ALP!! Love that he explores roles too. Also, I just love his eyes. Adds to the charm.

From what I can surmise, the reason why Bai Jue can't remember her as Shanggu was because he's currently undergoing a tribulation. Remember he told Houchi (as Bai Jue since he survived) that he'll be gone for 10,000 years so he knows. So the 'him' now as QingMu is a tribulation of himself that's why he has memories of her as the Chief.
Terrible acting, lots of alarming sexual actions, FL has no redeeming quality except working hard lol even that's questionable. Will drop it since it's not my cupe of tea.

Anyway. It's slowly coming under my top 5 xianxia dramas of all time. Great scenes, pacing, and right kind of longing. Excited for next week!
