Is watching the first series of History mandatory for me to understand this one? I heard this series is one of the best out there so wanted to see if I can just jump to Trapped and still understand the whole series.
She's always portrayed the same bubbly girl. Really wished she has one serious drama with a good leading man. That would be something to lookr forward to.
Tbh I'm a little bit disappointed that Zhang Ling He is not the main character nevertheless I guess young adult dramas lately are focusing on R1SE's boost in popularity, which is not a bad thing.
Reasons why this will probably go into my rare 10/10 (I'm very picky): 1. I hate weak FLs and this one is by far one of the bravest if not strongest of them. Yes she had a few poor decisions but this will in the latter episodes be superceded by better actions. 2. We can clearly see how highly respected FL is by the ML and she him. They equate one another. Too often do we see male power trips and dominance in these dramas so LB really takes the cake as a feminist drama. 3. They have the best character development of all of the characters. Don't wanna go into detail as this may come as a spoiler but everyone of them is critical to the story and you can see them growing as a person by their actions.
I knew Dilraba since She Was Pretty but definitely did not expect Leo Wu's acting in here. I am in shock at how much he has accomplished at such a young age since this is the first time that I'm watching him.
I have to admit I wasn't expecting too much and was only looking for something to pass my time when I tested ep1. It's now 1:41AM here and I bingewatched all of ep 18 in a day lol
I loved loved LOVED everything so far. Story is well-paced, the romance, the angst, everything! So for those still thinking if they should watch this, you should.
I am in shock. I am just now learning who he is from The Long Ballad and learned his scrollable list of drama at a young age! And he has own studio at the age of 17? What a talented young man!
This drama made me return to lakorn because it doesn't have the usual lakorn spices like rape jokes and harrassment. Just unfortunate that C3 is strict for fansubs hence can't be watched by international viewers. Good if you have the means to donate to muse tho.

Will post my full review once all eps are subbed.
3rd time to watch drama since its release 4 years ago. Never gets old. This and The Untamed are my go-to cdramas to rewatch.
