I can't help but agree with this assessment. The premise of the show had so much promise, I feel like if I understood the original novel more, I would be able to connect to what the producers were trying to demonstrate to the viewers.

It felt like a deux ex machina for the last 10 episodes.

I don't watch trailers bc you know... chinese trailers tell you EVERYTHING and it takes the fun out really. anyway, i was experiencing withdrawals symptoms bc i am silly for starting it so early now i have to play the waiting game. but for anyone who's watched the trailers.. WTH.... THEY HAD EVERYTHING, WHY ARE THEY RECYCLING THE PLOT LINES from yunxi?! /rant

you can't. i don't think the videos could have english subs until iqiyi releases them. i wish i could help sub but i only see the ones with viet subs.

Not that I want to kill it for everyone, but if you look this show up by its vietnamese title, you SHOULD be able to watch the entire series..... I hope this doesn't get me blocked. The vietnamese name of the show is van tich truyen.
