Title Madame Antoine Spoiler
Oh boy. I don't know how to rate this drama.
It started off as a very silly, bubbly funny little drama that had its finale stamped all over it but it got me questioning how will they get there?
I don't remember which episode exactly, but probably by the middle of it things started to get rough and the main plot got dragged.
The whole experiment twists happened so many times at some point I was just pissed, there weren't twists anymore, it was history only repeating itself over and over again.
I still think Go Hyerim is a really smart character, but stupid for love. By the last episode I didn't trust anyone anymore, but when it was made clear that she was being truthful I thought 'wow if he still keep up with this experiment crap I'm so gonna transfer myself to this drama universe and punch him in the face myself.'
I don't know if I'm just getting lucky while picking up dramas, the damaged male lead syndrome is happening too very often on dramas I watch lol, I didn't hate Soo Hyun that much and I think it was the actors work, the way Sung Joon smiles is just so evil/cute/seductive/funny/evil that I got embarrassed so many times, he definetly has a unique smirk lol.

But I'm getting tired of this kind of story, I thought it was going to be about Go Hyerim but it was about him. I initially got interested in this drama because of the fortune-teller thing, I wish they had invested more on that.
Han Ye Seul is so good, she just has the perfect timing for comedy. Everytime she was consulting someone and started to speak in different languages I lost it, the script was also very funny, and the times the client actually knew french and understood her oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Woorim and Jiho were really cute, Seung Chan and Dr Bae adventures were also cute and probably the only unpredictable plot for me. Tho I didn't felt any closure for them, I don't mean I wanted to know if eventually they became a couple or not, cause I don't think that'd happen, like Seung Chan said she's his mentor, but I did want to know more about the cancer storyline. Never knowing what happened to her character will bug me for a while.
Soo Hyun's scene with his mother was nice and heartbreaking. Other than that, the ending felt anti climatic, I was waiting for something big but it didn't happen, it didn't even felt like a last episode.
It wans't that bad, but I wouldn't recomend.

Reading all of your comments I see some things differently now. I was not aware of the PHJ "beef" with the production team. I avoided any article about the drama until I could finish it.
Trying to see in different perspectives, they did gave up on his character.
Such a shame, cause they had a great cast and what could have been a great drama. Bummer.

At first I did want to know more about Yoo Jung, he couldn't be just cold and cruel. But he kept playing games with literally everyone around him through the whole drama, they took too long to humanize him, If they ever even did.
Baek In Ha apparently always had a weak mind and it was cruel the way he treated her, he couldn't care less about her or Baek In Ho all because of one misunderstanding. If he only ever talked about the incident with In Ho... But that makes me remember he was always like that, since he was a kid, he has always been damaged.
And that's ok, but he hurt so many people along the way, he played with their mental health until the end.
I like the idea of Yoo Jung not being the good golden male lead, but at the end I really don't get what he was supposed to be. When he said he couldn't forgive In Ha, I mean, he was selfish until the very end. I didn't need to hear him saying that to her, nor did she, I do know shes not innocent, but to blame her when he was the one who made her lose her mind? He knew what she was like but still played with it until the end. He was aware of the risks, it was not the first time In Ha mistreated Seol.
The last encounter they had was not for hers but for his sake. Did he really think he was freeing her that way? Easing HIS peace of mind? I hate when they do that, have a character that could and had potential to be more than the flat version we got, so that at some point the male lead can mature and realise things. In Ha was a step.
And don't come at me saying she deserved what she got, cause even if someone could convice me of that, what about Jung himself? I won't ever, ever forget the scene where In Ho was beaten up at school and he just stood there watching. All of the times he was mean and cruel towards every person/puppet he could step on and control.
And I know Yoo Jung wasn't at fault by himself, he had a crappy father, he clearly needed some help as a child and he did what? Brought two broken kids so his damaged son could play with them as he pleased. Way to handle it.
And I also liked Seol's actions while dating Yoo Jung, she never let him go, even tho she went throught so many hard times because of his mind games with everyone around them. She did love him. And then he breaks up with her? So was Seol also just another step for him to realise his own problems? Use her, abuse her, then leave her!? I'm certain she'll be better off without him. I always knew that. But seriously? If he really had any deep feelings towards her he'd have put some effort. Geez she has been strong all along, strong or stupid, I don't even know anymore. So I'm leaving you, but I'm gonna say that I'll maybe come back at some pont don't know when, whenever I'm ready to love you right? Seeing you like this is hard for me? Oh come on you selfish little prick take some responsability, does it always have to be about you?

Goodbye Cheese In the Trap, begone Yoo Jung.
I may sound a bit harsh, I just fineshed it and I'm upset and disapointed.
To finish my statement, all my love to Seol, Bora, Eun Taek and In Ho, I hope all of you achieve everything you wish for <3
And a final reminder, my words are purely about the characters and story wise, not the actors. I liked them all.

YooRim and JiHo are killing me, TOOO ADORABLE!!! SooHyun and YooRim are way out of their minds right now to even notice what is going on with them lololol. Han Ye Seul deserve an award for the multi language scene, I don't know how Professor Jo contained himself with all that toilet talking and yet she still handled it so well lolololol

Han Ye Seul is so beautiful and her hair looks so healthy and it probably smells really nice! (ノ≧∀≦)ノ This is not what I was expecting. I love how clever Hyerim is. The main plot is nothing out of this world, but the actors are doing a great job and the characters are so weird I'm in love. It's a really charming drama so far. I know Soo Hyun and Hyerim will eventually fall in love but I'm so excited to see how their feelings grow and mature, It's not an easy job to make the ride as fun as the end game when you know it's coming at some point!!! I'm all in.

What's the problem with the two main guys being "unlikable?" That just means there is room to watch…
I don't expect nice and perfect people to be main leads. There for I don't believe this kind of people exist (only in tv of course). I like it when is flawed and damaged.
I know we have plenty of time for character development, it's a 20 episodes drama!!!
But as of for now, I am more interested in the female leads and the supporting characters. If I were to describe the characters by the first two episodes I'd say Mermaid is not your typical lady in need of rescue, and Sun Ah literally saved Shi Woo's life in the first episode. That alone caught my attention, it was great and they are not necessarily nice and perfect human beings.
Now to your question "What's the problem with the two main guys being "unlikable?", MY problem is I'll have to contain myself for a long time til they start to evolve I suppose, right now their actions are just stupid and hard to believe, it's personal, like for example I don't watch makjang dramas because that's just not my cup of tea.
And not only that, but the impression I got from the two episodes alone is that this will not be THAT GOOD well written drama that will blow my mind by the end of it. But it all could change and I'm willing to give it a chance. Thing is I had different expectations, but me not having the same good impression than other people only means different tastes, everyone having the same ones? Now THAT would be boring.
But yeah, I hope you're right about the character development actually happening.

Is it just me? Seo Ye Ji's voice is quite old for her :)
Yes her voice is different but that's exactly what got my attention in a very good way. She doesn't have a childish-thin-high pitched-forced-girly voice and doesn't even try to change it. At least for me, is a breath of fresh air.

I just finished it and I'm so disappointed. I was not expecting this at all. I know it has "drama" written on the genre section but til the last 2 episodes (?) it was all really cute and heartwarming and then everything became a trainwreck. I don't even know how to rate this.
Seeing it as a whole It wasn't that bad I guess, but I had high expectations since I enjoyed it (minus Na Woo) until they started to wrap up the stories.

At first the main girl didn't bother me but after a couple episodes and no character development just whining…
haaa YO NA <3
I always try not to hate on the actor, sometimes it's the writing, directing, the script, and I tried really hard not to think the actress was the problem here but I think you have a point, she is lacking on something, I just don't know how to point it out. Her character felt flat as hell. I know this is Solar debut as an actress and she barely had 5 min on screen but I felt more confortable with So In than Na Woo.

At first the main girl didn't bother me but after a couple episodes and no character development just whining all the freaking time I think she's completely unnecessary. Jong Hyun and Bok Gil adventures would be enough to make this a lovely quirky entertaining drama.

I'm oddly enjoying it. It can be heartwarming but sad at the same time. It's nice to watch this under my blanket with hot chocolate and lot of tissues near me. It's funny to see Jong Ok and Dong Wook's relationship while remembering them living together in Roommate!!!

I wasn't expecting much since it's a 2 hour special, a lot would have to be adapted but even with the changes it made me cry again so it wasn't all bad. Some of the anime elements were still there, the soundtrack, their clothes, their mugs... And I never thought I'd so satisfied with a real life Menma but Hamabe Minami was the perfect choice, she was great and did a beautiful job for a 15 year old girl. I'm impressed.
The thing that bothered me the most was that they made Anaru such a small character that everything about her felt flat. Other than that, the pacing was too fast, so much details were wasted, but then again it's a 2 hour special. I'd still recommend it to everyone who liked the anime. Seeing those scenarios in real life was worth it.

Title She Was Pretty Spoiler
Soong Jun is so mean to Hye Jin. If i were Hye Jin i would punch him in the face. There is no excuse to behave…
" I mean Soong Jun must know how it feels like to be treated that way, cause what i saw is that he wasn't so confident either when he was younger..." Exactly what I was thinking through the whole episode. He wasn't even mean, he was just pure evil. The stuff he said about her not being able to speak properly or if she had mental problems, seriously, what the hell??? I don't care if he has reasons not to act friendly with everyone now, but for being humiliated as a kid he shouldn't be able to act so cruel towards someone like that. I'm so pissed. I guess I can comprehend why Hyejin couldn't stand up for herself, I'd be as shocked as well. PSJ's doing good work cause I just want to punch him in the face.

I just hope that everyone cheering for Seo Hoo remembers how Won saw him at the bar with some girls after he called…
I agree. I can't forget all the things he did and does to Ha Na, I can't understand how can she allow herself to be in this kind of relationship. I still can't believe Ha Na is seeing him again. I'm so disappointed, episode 10 was hard to watch and I'm considering dropping it because yeah, I can't stand what is happening with the characters and the storyline. Ha Na clearly doesn't respect herself enough.

Title Who Are You: School 2015 Spoiler
It could have been better, it had so much potencial with the mistery stuff, but I really liked the end of it and 16 episodes were good enough to tell this story. I also liked the way they handled the bullying storyline, I usually drop dramas that are too heavy and too centred on this subject specifically, but with this one was different. They did it right showing Kang So Yeong's parents and how they were educating her and how that affected her behaviour. Somehow we see the rise and fall of her character and even though she called out Eun Bi one last time, they didn't completely erased all of her previously actions and humanized her just for the sake of it. She truly learned something at that moment, and it was nice to see Eun Bi handling well the situation and standing up against Kang So Yeong. Like she said, now she's alive and well, everything is fine. The supporting characters were great as well, Song Joo learned that there will be hardships along the way of her dream of becoming an idol. Han Yi An still trying his best while swimming and we had Shin Ji that struggled the whole drama for not having a dream. Should I consider Eun Byeol a supporting character as well? I don't feel like this was her story but she was a nice surprise, she grows a lot during the 16 episodes and she is in fact a great sister, at the end she really matured. Eun Bi is a lucky girl. "It's okay if you are hurt. Because you're 18 years old". I wish I had the chance to watch this when I was 18 years old.

It feels like a drama version of Shirobako but with producers. Really enjoying it so far. IU's character is cold but oddly very likeable.
