Wow nice. Thanks for sharing. The big mother treated Qiu Yan so well, I wish she hadn't died for real :((

Trailers for eps 19-22 are now on Tencent Video's Youtube channel. It looks like Liang Yi will take Qiu Yan under his wing and arrange her as his fake concubine. These two are the funniest when they're on disguise for investigations (ML's mom seems to be part of the fun as well) 😁. We can expect lots of sweet and heart fluttering moments too. Can't wait for next week episodes!!!

Title The Autumn Ballad Spoiler
Yuan Lang and Liang Yi were pretty funny during the house arrest scene. Liang Yi was such a opportunist🤣🤣. No one could expect that he would take advantage of Qiu family's ordeal to break the marriage arrangement (which would have been almost impossible in normal situation) and distance himself immediately from the Qiu family. I was on the floor when Yuan Lang's eyes started to bulge in his disbelief at Liang Yi's bold moves. Poor guy must have been self-deprecating because he's no match to Liang Yi's shamelessness hahaha.

That was wildly entertaining to read. It somehow makes sense since Dosan is such a man child. I wonder if Sigmund…
Your analysis is wild but it makes sense to me. While I somewhat sympathize with DS's emotional burden, I find his love for Dalmi superficial and driven by his own insecurities. Everything DS does for Dalmi seems to serve the only purpose: to make sure that she stays and continues to love him unconditionally. This I find particularly troublesome because his love is built on his own problem and not true concern for Dalmi's wellbeing. Once he manages to get rid of his problem, this love can falter immediately, which is unfair to Dalmi.

It's so so. The story idea is interesting, the writing and acting is not. It feels like a lot of money has been…
I agree. KMK is a good and attractive actor but he would be more believable in a less powerful role, maybe some carefree rich gentleman with some troublesome past, not a wise King. As for the JSY, I don't know she keeps getting cast in "strong woman" roles while she doesn't have the gravitas for them. In short, both the leads are good actors just badly cast for roles that they're not made for. The premise is OK but then I'm having trouble with the plot is constantly being driven by the bad guys and our leads seem like pushovers who only react to those attacks. Hope the plot picks up soon because it's getting annoying.

I agree with everything you said. I also love the mortal arc too and I hate JX as a character and really not into…
Yup yup well said. There's nothing likable about this character.

Title Love and Destiny Spoiler
Although I agree with everyone that they could have shortened the time spent on the moral realm and added more episodes for the final arc, the mortal realm is my most favorite part of the drama. I felt like LX has the most character development during the time she lives as LM. Not only that she acquires new strength and power but she also grows to be independent and reliable during this time. She also gains more gravitas in her relationship with JS. In the first arc, JS is always the one who thinks of the plan and persuade LX to follow it. After returning from the mortal realm, LX becomes the one who plans and persuades others to act on her plans. JS also sees her more as equal partner rather than someone he always needs to protect.

I can never sympathize with JX, not sure if it's the acting or the character. It's weird that I don't ever consider him as a serious love rival to JS, but more like a plot device. Firstly, the generation seems off. JX is like a brother to LX's mom and making him LX's lover sounds so wrong to me (I know JS is also much older than LX but he's not related to LX's family in any way). Secondly, they makes him look too creepy and don't give him any good characteristics except for his pitiful childhood. The only value I see in this character is that he brings out the petty side of JS! Their childish fights for LM's attention are gold! I can definitely tell that JS treasures LX more after all the fights he has to go through to keep her his.

Title Leh Ratree
I start this drama because I like the 2 leads in Ngao Asoke. Despite all the angst, Esther and Sean were cute and reasonable most of the time in there. Leh Ratree is way more dark and ridiculous. I'm on episode 2 and I'm already pulling my hair real hard. Except for Kate, everyone else is, omfg, so despicable or annoying, especially Sake. He pushes and pulls Kate like no one's business in their FIRST encounter. What he did is solidly sexual harassment! And what else, he's the boss and I know he's angry that someone's trying to steal his money but he has no right to punish the daughter with corporal punishment, like NO, it's illegal! Not sure why everyone's praising this drama. My first impression of the male lead is already so bad that I don't know if I can stand the logic once the selling plot starts. Sorry for the ranting, I just want to vent my frustration here :(

+1000 likes for your hilarious comment. I felt the same, instead of squealing over the slow motioned eye-locking scenes, I was always laughing hysterically :D

Love love this drama! At first I didn't plan to watch it because Yu Zheng's dramas usually get ruined midway with dragging plots or ridiculous character development. But this, it's a whole level different than what he has produced! The plot has fast pace with every problem gets resolved satisfyingly in just a few episodes but they still manage to keep me hooked for the next problems. And it is refreshing to see such a smart and strong headed main girl who doesn't let anyone plot against her. Sometimes I do feel like she gets away too easy with everything, especially when she acts disrespectfully to the imperial family and wins all the fights as if she knew the future. But this is just a drama, as long as the story is entertaining, I don't want to be too nick picking. Also, let's talk about the VISUAL! The color palette of the makeup, the costumes, the background, EVERYTHING is just so elegant and eye candy! Every screenshot looks so gorgeous that it's essentially a wallpaper on its own. Not a lot of costume dramas can produce relentless frames at that quality. I heard that this drama got heavily censored so some of the plot developments towards the end are fast forwarded and confusing but overall, it's an entertaining and eye pleasing drama that everyone should watch this year. Highly recommended!

THANK YOU!!! #2 and #1 are the biggest no-no's of Thai lakorn to me. Although there have been some changes recently, it's no help that the remakes of older lakorns keep popping out. That's why I make sure to read the synopses and spoilers carefully before deciding to watch any lakorns.
