Revenge/Makjang dramas are my favorite.

Royal Family (my very first Asian drama that hooked me on revenge/makjang forever).
Monster (it is excellently flawed)
Queen of Ambition (totally daebak...one of the best)
Equator Man (a little bit of crap when the change from teenagers to adults, but if you look past it...great drama)
Padam Padam (the acting in this drama makes it worth watching)

Gosh, it has been a while since I watched that drama. I think it gets better around episode 6 or 7. It might have been half way through though more like episode 10. You know if it is hard to watch, then you can read the recaps before deciding to watch an episode. I am pretty sure dramabeans has recapped it.

An Asian remake is better than the United States trying to remake a Korean drama. It will lose every thing that makes an Asian drama dear to my heart. I also do not believe that the cast in the US will even come close to the Korean cast in terms of acting. Plus, the US will drag out the beautiful story until they run it in to the ground if they make it past the 1st season. I admit that I haven't watch the US version and I have no intention to.

I like the different Asian countries remakes. It is fun to watch.

I hate watching the US try to remake anything. They just tried to do it with Dirty Dancing and it failed miserably.

I guess for me it depends on what is being remade and who is doing it.
