Is this really horror? Or is it like The master's sun?
It’s darker than the Master’s Sun but I wouldn’t necessarily call it “horror.”

Gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed in the most recent twist. It feels like a cop out and it really doesn't make…
In the interview posted a few comments down below with the writer she talks about the different rules. A lot can be lost in translation but from what I gathered from her explanation the spirit only has to return to the body when it is the body is weak or "calls" it. So I think at first, he didn't have to return to his body because he was doing okay but only started to when he began to regain consciousness. I also vaguely remember some conversation concerning evil spirits and that could have something to do with it too, since he's not as "pure" anymore.

Also the fact that he's actually alive *now* makes me even more nervous. This would have been great at the end but only half way through worries me. There is still plenty of opportunity for him to die, and I'm assuming given the end of the most recent episode he's not going to be waking up any time soon. We've yet to really see the "consequences" of him touching objects and interfering with the human world so I doubt it will be wrapped up so nicely as to him being back in his body and a-okay...lol...*cries*

LOVED IT! It had a fairly predictable plot but still packed a significant emotional punch at the big reveal. So cute. So sweet. Carries with it all that nostalgia of first love. Wonderfully written and the acting was superb. A+!

Oh man...creepy and grisly. It is not easy to watch. And it was even harder for me to see my beloved Lee Jong Suk in this role (kuddos to him for playing it well though). It did have a solid plot that was interesting but I found it kind of hard to keep up with. Extremely satisfying ending though, so that made it all worth it!

Okay, I found the 1st ep to be completely underwhelming and uninteresting. Should I go on, does it get better?
I personally love it! I would give it a good 3 or 4 episodes before deciding to jump ship. By then you'll have a good feel for what's in store

Cute but you will feel like you’ve seen this move many times before if you are familiar at all with Korean cinema. Nothing that original and quite boring at times…I did love Cha Tae Hyun’s character’s inner-monologue (it’s hilarious) but other than that it was pretty “meh.” Worth a watch when you’re in the mood for a traditional Korean romance/drama film.

This was such a sweet movie that definitely hit home at times. Though it could be unrealistic, I really liked Sayaka's character...she was super relatable and I was totally behind rooting for her success. Itsuki was sweet and adorable...although I didn't necessarily understand his motives for just disappearing without even talking to Sayaka (to go "find himself" apparently)...and then everything getting so quickly resolved in the end...I get it, it's a movie. That was my only issue. Otherwise: it was very good!
On Because I Love You Oct 6, 2018
Cha Tae Hyun’s movies never fail to be winners. While this isn’t my favorite of his, it’s still definitely good. Really good. All the feels.

So pretty...and Yang Yang is great. I can totally see why people are completely lost though if they didn't watch the drama/haven't read the novel. There was just way too much to try and cram into one movie and still have it make sense. I still enjoyed it though.
On Rurouni Kenshin Oct 6, 2018
Amazing. Freaking amazing.

One of the best movies and certainly the best manga/anime live-action to date. Can we get Otomo Keishi do to more remakes please??
On Fasten Your Seatbelt Oct 6, 2018
Ah, this is one of the funniest movies. Years later I still chuckle thinking about it. It has a few dull moments but overall super hilarious and awesome. Loved it!

Not really my type of movie. I am not a big fan of Kim Gi Deok...despite recognizing the quality of his films and the cultural significance of them I'm just not a fan of his style. I decided to give Pungsan a chance despite this because the premise was interesting and I love Yun Gye Sang...however, I was both amused, amazed, and extremely disappointed. It's a great film as far as "quality" is concerned but on an entertainment level I found it both boring and too far-fetched. Oh, well. To each his own...

Title The Plan Man
Cute and hilarious. My only complaint really is that the whole dramatic back-story was a little too dramatic for the lighter rom-com it started out as. But otherwise it was perfect and had me gasping for air in the theater because I was laughing so much. Jeong Jae Yeong is an amazing actor!

Title Hot Young Bloods Spoiler
So cute! So funny! I loved this movie despite the slightly cheesy drama. It was a lot different than I expected. Lee Jong Suk is always wonderful and I'm a huge fan of Park Bo Young so having the two of them together was like hitting the jackpot. I was a little surprised that the story line followed Lee Jong Suk's character a lot closer than hers though, since I expected it to be the other way around...which made this one of Park Bo Young's weakest roles as far as character development goes (but I think that's mostly do to the surprisingly minimal screen time she had). Still it was brilliant and awesome. There was definitely one scene that had me laughing so hard I could barely breathe!

The best surprise was how the director choose to use the song "Nothing's Gonna Stop us Now" in the end. I'll admit, I'm an 80's music girl so I was freaking out just a little.

Anyway, so worth a watch. I want to see it again. Right now.

Title Peach Girl
I’m not sure if I ever watched the original Peach Girl anime when I was younger or if I just remember hearing so much about it that I knew the story. Either way, I watched this movie after stumbling upon a really well-done fanmade music video and I pretty much got what I expected: a live action version of a shojou manga.

The story progresses fast (because: movie) which really made the different plot points seem even more ridiculous. The misunderstandings were immature and by-the-book but I suppose if I was in high school I would probably not mind as much and enjoy it more.

It was cute, overall, but nothing substantial. Would recommend it for a rainy day and nostalgia for some Japanese entertainment.
On Paradise Kiss Oct 6, 2018
Pretty average but the awesome cast gives it bonus points. Apparently, it is very different from the original manga/anime and it's not a secret that fans have been outraged at the differences but as a movie on its own I thought it was a cute and easy film. I recommend it for those who have not read or seen the original
On Policeman and Me Oct 6, 2018
Oh...Kame-chan has done so well since his "Nobuta" days. It's been a while since I've seen him on screen and I just couldn't get enough. The horribly rushed beginning-that-made-no-sense aside (and we'll throw that scene of them leaving the school in there at the end in for good measure), this movie was very cute. I wish we had been given more development in the beginning or that the characters had a start to their relationship that made more sense but alas that did not happen. The age difference is a little cringe-worthy as well. I mean, it's fine that she's a student...but 16?! Can we at least make her 18? Ugh, that was rough. But if you ignore all that...it's cute and sweet and easy to watch.

Title No Breathing
(At the time of this review) Just got done watching this bad boy in the theater...I'm so glad I went! The cast alone is awesome but there is so much this movie has to offer...BROmance is abound and as well as some hilarious moments...the only thing I think that was pretty weak is the very average plot...though the character interactions make it very entertaining. Loved it!
On Neverending Story Oct 6, 2018
It was cute and funny but not really anything special. I enjoyed how the movie put a lighter edge to its subject but felt the conflict towards the end was a little too typical. The editing and directing was lovely all except for one particular scene that involved the camera going around and around and around (don't watch if you get motion sick easy) and the ending was a little bleh. But all in all, entertaining and enjoyable.
On Close Range Love Oct 6, 2018
Yamapi is my weakness...which explains why I went for this movie even though I'm not really a fan of the teacher-student romance genre. Something about the way this played out though was just so...right. I loved the characters and how their relationship developed. There was a scene there that definitely made my heart race (so well done)! But the last half was lacking and predictable...not nearly as good. So the movie just kind of went out with a...fizzle. Oh well, worth a watch!
