On The Liar and His Lover Oct 6, 2018
Satoh Takeru will always be Kenshin to me so it's strange to see him in a different role (also not a fan of his long bangs in this...I wanna see his eyes)! I'm not really into music-based movies or dramas but I liked the story overall. It had some cute moments though the ending wasn't the best (yes, I'm even referring to the real ending that happens after the credits). A good one-timer. I might check out the Korean drama also based off of the same manga.

Title Hello Ghost
I watched this a while back with some friends and I was REALLY surprised! It turned out to be a great movie (slow start, powerful finish)! And my -bias- LOVE for Cha Tae Hyeon isn't the only reason why (although it is a BIG reason, lol). The story is actually really amazing. I was so surprised by it! You'll love it, I promise: just be sure and watch all the way to the end!

What? What? What? That twist! I didn't see that coming. Gosh! My throat hurts.
oh gawd I bawled my eyes out

Fantastic acting, some beautiful cinematography, and a stunning soundtrack....I just didn't enjoy the last quarter-ish of the movie as much as the first three-fourths. The ending was realistic but disappointing. The first part of the movie is so awesome though, filled with heart and humor. I liked it a lot overall.
On Finding Mr. Destiny Oct 6, 2018
Surprisingly funny and touching, I enjoyed this movie more than I expected. Although I love Gong Yoo it took me forever to get inspired to watch this. I'm glad I finally gave it a shot. Well worth a watch if you are looking for a good RomCom.

Title Forgotten
It was thrilling with some GREAT twists you just won’t see coming. I wanted to rate it higher but ultimately went with 8.5-Stars because the way everything wrapped up dampened the overall uniqueness of the plot (it proceeded in a VERY typical fashion for this genre in Korean film after the Big Reveal). When you’re in the mood for a thriller though, I highly recommend it!
On The Apprehenders Oct 6, 2018
Fairly typical story but the great cast is what makes it stand out. I thought it would be funnier but it was more serious than I expected. Although that's not always a bad thing, I was just hoping for a lighter mood. If you're looking for a crime-thriller-comedy though, this is a good pick! I enjoyed it!

Title Blind
This is a good movie! Really showcases more of Kim Ha Neul's fantastic acting. I wish there had been more of Yu Seung Ho in it but oh well...

Blind is a quick and at times creepy watch with a touch of the bittersweet. However, although it wasn't necessarily boring, I did think it could be more exciting. Overall it's worth a watch, though!
On The Beauty Inside Oct 6, 2018
Pretty flawless as far as movies go. So original and wonderful! Plus, I went into this unaware that Park Seo Jin was in it which was the best surprise ever. He’s still on that ‘can-do-no-wrong’ track for me!!

Ah, so unexpectedly funny. I watched it with my friends and we were cracking up the whole time. Highly recommend!

Title A Love So Beautiful Spoiler
I am a total sucker for stories like this. On the surface, it seems almost like a re-make of the "It Started with a Kiss"/"Playful Kiss"-vers but it is actually different in many ways and holds it's own. The production quality is great (it is SO pretty) and the story is so innocent and sweet. I do think the writing was a little unrealistic and immature at times but overall I really enjoyed this drama. I just love how Jiang Chen was really wrapped around Xiaoxi's finger from the get-go. They are the sweetest.
On When a Snail Falls in Love Oct 6, 2018
It had an interesting story and was cute but just never quite had me super invested. Also the rushed ending was a bit of a disappointment and had our leads acting quite out-of-character (and this is coming from the girl who always roots for romance). It’s not that I didn’t like it...I just felt like it fell short of its potential. Still worth a watch, and the fact that it is quite short makes it a breeze to marathon.
On Witch's Romance Oct 6, 2018
Average at best. Had some cute moments and Park Seo Jun of course but it felt really vintage...like it was from the 2009 era of dramas instead of 2014. I stuck it out but it wasn't really worth it.
On Witch's Court Oct 6, 2018
It was alright. Certainly started out with a lot of momentum that just petered into over-used plot cliches. I liked the characters a lot, just wish the story had been better.
On Drunken to Love You Oct 6, 2018
I'm a fan of all Rainie's dramas since Devil Beside You and I believe--other than DBS--Drunken to Love You tops that list. This drama was a wonderful surprise and it was so easy to watch that you will blow through it in no time and wonder where all the episodes went. I hear that this drama was created by the same team behind Fated to Love You and I frequently felt FtLY vibes while watching it (that's a good thing)! But, instead of taking a wrong turn about 3/4th of the way through like FtLY unfortunately did, this drama remains consistent and entertaining... I only gave it 8.5/10 just because there's not a whole lot of excitement and still a little bit too much of ridiculous silly every now and then (not to mention too much time spent on side characters) for me to give it a full 10. But that doesn't mean it's not a great watch and just as enjoyable!
On Full Throttle Girl Oct 6, 2018
Cute and funny. I don't bother watching many Japanese dramas lately since they don't seem to pull me in as much anymore as they used to but Zenkai Girl was one of the few I stuck with this past summer season (that it aired) and I'm glad I finished it. Although it is nothing really new or exciting, it is full of heart and has a certain charm that keeps you watching more. Probably, you will be able to guess how the plot will play out from the get-go but it is HOW it gets there that makes it entertaining. Plus? It always managed to put a smile on my face...in my opinion, that's all it takes to make a decent drama worth watching ^___^
On Dating Agency: Cyrano Oct 6, 2018
Breezy and easy to watch (just like the other Flower Boy dramas) but I never developed a strong emotional attachment to any of the characters. It's forgetful but worth a one time watch just for the bits of cute and stress-free plot.

Title Scent of a Woman Spoiler
This drama is awesome. It always made me feel so good! Plus, despite how plots like these (someone is dying) typically tend to be melodramatic, SOAW is very funny and charming. I only gave it a 8.5 instead of a 10 because later episodes loose a bit of that, even though it is still really good...I just wasn't as crazy about it as I was initially...However I still totally recommend watching! And don't be intimidated by the "cancer" theme, it is unlike k-dramas of that genre and it DOES have a good ending.
On Love O2O Oct 4, 2018
Title Love O2O
Love 020 was an original take on a classic (overused) campus romance: often misunderstood girl meets attractive, popular boy-genius and they fall in love. Only here, the girl is a smart “department beauty” studying engineering and she meets the boy while playing an online MMORPG. The production did a cool spin here too where whenever the characters are playing the game they dramatize it. These slightly different tweaks on what would have otherwise been a story we’ve seen time and again are what make Love 020 stand out.

The chemistry between the leads was great and I love how much they always trusted each other. Petty misunderstandings do not get in the way of their relationship and only stand to make it stronger. This seemed way more realistic to me for two people in love rather than to have them immediately doubt each other. What a great couple!

Wei Wei’s best friend did annoy me to pieces though. She was very immature and annoying to the point where I couldn’t really root for her side romance she had going on there. I definitely could have done without that.

Over-all I thought this drama was very cute and sweet. I don’t think I will go back and re-watch it (I will probably revisit certain scenes though) but I would still 100% recommend it if you are looking for a good campus romance drama.
