I think it goes back to how the drama is written some of the daily dramas are so good hence we enjoy the characters more however in the ones i personally don't like the actors are still doing a phenomenal job regardless.

We get that aspect and appreciate your explanation of what a Makjang is however just like any other genre all viewers incline to what is being advertised whether on the synopsis or trailer. Now back to the frustration it becomes frastrating to the viewers when they don't see anything in alignment to what was advised that made them decide to watch a particular show and by the time the viewers realises it, they're aready emotionally invested like you rightfully stated this genre is there to pull out emotions out of the viewers then there is the curiosity aspect of it which brings the viewers as there is a motive to make sure the villains got punished.

Instead of placing Soo Woo in that position as he has previously stated that he's way more competent than he is. He credits him for the success of the company but ofcourse blood over competence. I really hope the daughter completely destroys that company and Soo Woo and Piseonju take their talents elsewhere but ofcourse starting their own company would be better. I however loved soowoo telling sangha to her face that she's childish as that would be the best word to describe her.
