Did you guys watch this on Netflix or other streaming sites? I noticed Netflix has subtle changes in its ENG subtitles which makes me feel like I’m missing out on details. Not sure which streaming site has the most accurate subtitles for this show
no hate towards Park Ha Sun but I'm not sure why shes even listed as a main character let alone the FL? I understand…
Completely agree. There was finally a build-up for her and I started to like her character development (if you could call it that with the minimum amount of screentime she got) but then she immediately got written off afterwards? Because she's a FL I assumed she might've been hiding somewhere to eventually come back in one of the last episodes, but that didn't happen unfortunately. It's indeed odd that she's listed as FL when she was barely on screen. I hope the spinoff does her justice
Lee Da Hee?? I'm sorry but no one who that is. I'll still watch this drama though and I'll see if she wins me…
Even if you would be new to kdramas (which i don't think you are, after having checked out your profile), it's bold of you to say that "no one knows who she is". If you don't know her, sure, but don't assume that others automatically don't know her either just because you don't. Da Hee has had solid roles and is actually pretty known in the industry. She's a hard worker so it doesn't do her justice when you say that no one knows her.
Not saying this to attack you by the way, i just hope to change your stance a little on what you say about actors you don't know in the future. If you don't know an actor you can check out their previous works (if you're interested in that) but please don't assume and post that no one knows someone just because you don't.
I'm glad that you're interested in this drama and hope you'll enjoy it, as well as Da Hee's acting^^
because this drama is dramatic as hell? ln my opinion, its very cheaply written, i mean we all know that but cmon,…
Mhm I completely understand that. I've only seen the first two seasons so far and I'm waiting for this one to be finished so I can bingewatch it. Not as interested in it as I was while I watched the first seasons when they were airing, but I indeed want to know how the story is going to wrap up like you said as well. Having read the comment section I did figure out that they're indeed starting to milk things, just hope that it'll at least have a worthwhile ending
In a way thats why this show is a success. Even if people hate it, they keep coming back for more 😂
@Ace You're totally right, it's very addicting to watch in a way. I'm waiting for the season to be finished so I can binge it afterwards. I've seen the first 2 seasons while they were airing and man.. the cliffhangers were so suspenseful that I kept on getting back to watch every week
Very amusing to read the comment section of this season. One episode everyone is hyped and calls this season amazing, and a week later it's back to being an awful season of which people would rather it doesn't exist. And this happens every week, interesting to read lol
I've been putting this off because of Jung Yong Hwa. Tell me, does his acting here good? Or the usual stiff acting?
it's been alright so far, can't say that much about it yet because we're still early on in the series, but so far it's been good. you can check it out for yourself and see if you like it! if you don't you can always drop it at any point
they actually closed the scene in the epilogue before she got to choose between who to ride with to ask the question…
Yeah you're right! It's indeed up for our own imagination to close this drama this way. It's somewhat "relieving" to know that the path she had chosen before might not have been the "true" story, rather the story of how things would unfold if she indeed rode the horse with Ta Hwan. And how everything would go if she did actually choose Wang Yu, is up for our own imagination.
I feel like another fake death wouldn't be good for the show
Same here. His death would give SSR more reason to continue with her revenge tbh, and set a proper beginning for season 3.
The whole "characters aren't truly dead" trope is getting really repetitive in this show. As much as I liked Logan, I hope they actually pull through with a death for once.
gyu jin and sang ah are a waste of screen time. don't find them funny at all
Fr.. they didn't add anything important to the season imo. Wouldn't have missed them if they weren't there. The actors are good but the characters were just fillers
After watching special eps, Im convinced that we will see LL in Season 3. *fingercrossed
Honestly hoping they won't bring him back though.. He's a great actor and character in the show but they can't keep bringing back the dead all the time. Would become crazy repetitive, which it already kind of is imo
The fact that Wang Yu and Nyang have never truly expressed themselves to eachother in the end, only through tears, hit really hard. They did mention often enough how they have loved eachother, but that was not in the presence of the other. I was really rooting for them to finally have an honest and free conversation together after all this time, even if they'd separate their paths afterwards, but that conversation never happened. :( It's true that some people say "actions mean more than words" but I still hoped there would be a little more than that. They deserved a proper closure together.
Even for Maha, nobody has ever told him who his true parents were before he passed away. I hadn't particularly liked him even when I knew he was Byul, but it was still really sad that he has been lied to for his whole life, and has never figured out the truth.
And then the ending... Nyang has finally achieved what she wanted to achieve, but that cost her everyone she cared for, and who cared for her. Was it really worth it in the end? Couldn't things have gone differently if she had decided to choose a different path to get her revenge?
These are probably the things that'll stick for me the longest while thinking back to this rollercoaster of a drama, and I don't mean that in a bad way. Even though there were a lot of sad scenes and a somewhat unsatisfying ending (even though i expected it), this was truly a great show. The fact that this drama had so many impactful moments that won't leave my mind anytime soon, prove to me how good this actually was.
I don't like lengthy dramas,thriller,politics nor historical dramas.Should I still watch this?
You can always try watching the first few episodes and decide whether you want to watch further or not after that^^
Before watching this show I wasn't too keen on lengthy, political nor historical dramas either, but once I started watching I couldn't stop. I hadn't seen how many episodes the drama had until I was around 10 episodes in. The length surprised me and I was briefly thinking of dropping it, but boy am I glad that I didn't. When I continued watching, the episodes just flew by and before I knew it I was reaching the end hoping there'd actually be more. Don't let the length scare you!
So now we know that Soo Ryun wasn't dead and she's officially back in this season, so why is she not added as…
Probably because it would spoil it. Su Ryeon actually being alive is considered as one of the bigger surprises this season so if she'll just get added to the main cast as Shim Su Ryeon then that whole "twist" will go away because people will already figure that she hasn't died then. (doesn't matter if some people had already figured that out, to other people it might still be a surprise)
Maybe she'll be added to the main cast when the season has ended (which i hope they don't, to keep that surprise for new watchers), or in the Season 3 cast if she's officially back as SSR, because people who haven't watched season 2 probably won't look at the cast of season 3 yet.
The members of MDL can't exactly help it either, they can only update the cast once other sources have done that as well (Viki for example)
