Just started watching this, since the most powerful characters are mostly antagonists, do good characters even…
Well.. there'll be some satisfying scenes, but honestly out of all i can remember aside from those scenes, i don't think the first season has a lot of revenge yet. I'm currently watching the second season as it's airing and it is more focussed on the revenge part for sure, but the first season was mostly leading up to that. I think the third season will be the season that'll focus on revenge the most. The first however, was just really harsh on the "good" people and you'll indeed notice that the antagonists will stay "on top of them" for the majority of it
Honestly think the way they're portraying seojin right now is foreshadowing something. I don't believe the writer wants us to have sympathy for her. I think her aim is actually on killing her off eventually after seojin has admitted to things. Two specific lines in the last episode show us that seojin is "accepting" her karma, but i think she also knows that she might get herself killed if she plans on taking JDT down.
SSR not cutting her hair and getting a real butterfly tattoo in those two years is totally contradicting her previous smart moves... But i figure that something like that is inevitable in these kind of dramas. Gotta have a "plottwist" scene right?
If CSJ ends on the right side of this drama seeing she also kept the directors position, damn sure I will drop…
Idk at this point tbh Thought she might change sides as well in the beginning of this episode, though the longer the episode went on, the more feeling I got that’s she’s either going to commit suicide eventually , or she’s indeed going to try and “fight” JDT but is content with the fact that it might get her killed. It seemed like she lost all hope at the end of the episode. The “goodbye” to eunbyul and the “I’m sorry for realizing so late. I love you”, thoughts about yoonchul, seem like 2 big red flags. Guess we’ll have to wait and see though!
why the casts line showed that lee ji ah is just a guest role for ep6???? SOMETHING IS WRONGGGG.
Because it isn't "officially" known yet whether she has a minor or major role this season, so MDL can only gradually update her character. The director and crew and such will probably keep her importance a secret until further episodes have been aired, so they won't spoil anything this way.
I wasn't planning to watch this drama, but now i goint to watch it. I love Kim So Hyun acting and now she will…
Same! Wasn't sure whether I wanted to watch it or not. I like So Hyun's acting and had nothing against Ji Soo in particular before, but I wasn't too keen on his acting in all of the drama's I've seen him in. However now with Na In Woo I think I'll watch it once they've recorded further episodes. Can't wait!
will there be any delays in airing of this drama because of the change of the actor? I was trying to find info…
I'd assume so after episode 8 has aired. Would guess that it might be delayed for a bit until they've reshot the next few (or more) episodes with Na In Woo. Haven't read anything about it either yet :/ Hopefully this won't overwork the crew or actors
People have to acknowledge the fact that this was Miyeon's (and other actors') debut drama. All of the popular actors and actresses we see now, gradually became better the more experience they got. The same will be the case for Miyeon in the future. Of course it's personal preference if you did or didn't like her acting in this show, but it's not really fair to expect that she immediately would've been a pro at acting already. For her first appearance in a drama (and it immediately being a main role at that), I think Miyeon did an amazing job, and so did the rest of the cast. I can't wait to see them improve and take on more roles in the future.
I feel like this show was a good entrance to the acting industry for some of the cast. Considering it was a webseries, I didn't expect too much from it and that's probably why I actually did end up enjoying watching it. It was a good, and in my opinion cute webseries to watch while in the middle of doing homework or inbetween breaks.
Huh ? Eun Byeol just filmed it with her smartphone. There is no CCTV here.
I'm really sorry if I'm wrong, though I'm really sure that they did show her recording it.. She was holding an umbrella in the rain and nearly dropped it because she was shocked, however continued recording the whole thing. It was part of the reason as to why she attempted to kill herself in the first season. She did use it against her mother, but more in the way of "I know what you did" instead of saying that she recorded it herself. This was also why a lot of people anticipated that eun byul was going to turn against her mother at the start of this season, because she kept this video for herself this whole time and could use it to expose her mother at any time. However, none of that happened so uhh yeah.. I'm not sure what the writer was aiming for with that part of the script. But who knows, maybe that whole situation will still come back this season. I don't think CSJ getting rid of the SIM card will be the last we see of it.
Huh ? Eun Byeol just filmed it with her smartphone. There is no CCTV here.
I'm confused on why you think it wasnt recorded by eun byul. I thought it was clearly shown afterwards that eun byul did record it in the first season and that she was indeed in a higher position at the time, and that that's why it was filmed from above. However now with the SIM card "gone", I wonder if anybody else aside from Seokkyung will ever find out about it. Even when seokkyung knows, she won't be able to convince anyone because she doesn't have proof anymore. I hope a copy exists somewhere. Maybe Logan or SSR do have CCTV footage, but as for the recording on eun byul's phone, that was filmed by her herself and not by them nor the CCTV
Can't wait for SSR and Logan's revenge, they've indeed been plotting something for a long time and I think this was all a part of their plan. They really do plan on taking everyone who has done something wrong down and I truly can't wait to see this all unfold. I think we're up for a much more suspenseful ride this season.
haven't seen the episode yet, however based on spoilers i think this really is SSR disguising as the twin's mother just to get closer to JDT, only to completely ruin him in the end. i think they're calling her a "new character" because she's basically acting like a new character.
not sure about BRN. it would be nice if logan saved her but then it would be too similar to the first season's situation. considering more things have been similar, i hope they'll not make every single thing repetitive otherwise it'll be boring and too easy to guess. people on youtube are speculating that both SSR and Logan are still scheming something together and that they want to use OYH as well, however since BRN was her weakness she has to think that she's really gone so she has more motivation to ruin JDT and CSJ.
i could be completely wrong though, gonna watch the episode when it has been translated. can't wait for this one.
I recommend not looking at this page when the next episode airs until you've watched it yourself. (unless you don't mind getting spoiled) Most people put spoiler warnings on their posts, but not everyone does. Same for the Photos section, they'll probably add photos of the new character or other specific pictures immediately after airing, which might spoil some of the experience for you if you haven't seen the episode yourself yet. Please be careful if you don't want to get spoiled!
The biggest betrayal from today’s episode is definitely Yoon Chul, I won’t lie he had me fooled there for…
Same,, actually thought he would get a redemption arc this season and the first 4 episodes looked promising for him. He also really seemed to care about OYH even outside of their "fake marriage" acting. Guess he secretly has his own plans though. This season is truly becoming more chaotic and suspenseful than the first and I'm all up for that
I understand where you are coming from, and know that until now not allegations are proven to be true nor false.…
Mhm yeah I get that. And it's indeed right that due to environment differences, people grow up in different ways. The same could indeed have been the case for Ji Soo without us knowing. I hadn't thought much about that. - However, i still stand by my point being that everyone should know basic human decency. Even when growing up in a different environment, you should at least know the basics on what right and wrong is. Ji Soo might have grown up in a different environment as well, but in school you do learn that some things are just not acceptable to do.
I agree with you on the fact that the victims have been pretty vague with everything so far. We do know that a victim apparently has a video or audio recording of Ji Soo doing something? But that hasn't been revealed yet, so I'm not sure if that is trustworthy. As for now, most of these things cannot be proven yet until there is visual evidence, which I guess we just need to wait for at this point.
I think, if these allegations are true and not fabricated, that the victims felt confident enough to step up now because of all of the other bullying scandals that have come out recently. It's not easy to get people to believe you when you are accusing a popular actor, which could be the reason as to why they didn't address this earlier.
Hopefully everything will be properly explained soon, and get closure. I feel really bad for the production staff, other actors and everyone else in the new drama too. I know that people think its unfair for the staff to immediately drop Ji Soo, but I don't think they really had a choice. They spent a lot of time, money and dedication on the production of the show, and if these allegations are proven to be true, nobody would continue to watch it anymore. Now with a different actor taking the place of Ji Soo, the drama and production itself, wouldn't have been in vain.
This is very harsh behavior from the company to drop him from this drama, I don't know if the accusations are…
I understand where you are coming from, and know that until now not allegations are proven to be true nor false. However some allegations that were made (if true) cannot be excused just because "he was younger and didn't know any better". I'm not sure if you've read all of the allegations, but there were some really serious things in there that really cannot be excused at all. If a kid who was 12-13 year old would think that its a good idea to sexual harrass, make videos about specific things that have been said, bully classmates to this extent, and all the other things that have been mentioned, it would mean that something is clearly not right with them. Of course these things aren't confirmed to be true or false yet, but if they are, you cant excuse his actions behind the fact that he was a minor at the time.
Don't get me wrong, I'm trying to stay neutral about this situation until we have more proof. We know that he admitted to some of the accusations but not which, so I don't want to jump to conclusions and just want to wait this out and see what happens. However the mindset of "he didnt know any better because he was a minor" does not sit right with me in this case. Yes he was a minor, but that doesnt give him the right to have been allowed to do these things. Everyone should have a sense of basic human decency, even when they are minors.
I have no hope. Oh yoon hee was always the FL on the one side. Other side Cheon so jin.Bae ronas coming back is…
true true. i don't mind those two being the main leads now. just kind of getting tired of CSJ and BRN. the story is kind of getting repetitive at this point. first two episodes were great and had a good amount of suspense in them, but now I have a feeling that the same things will happen over and over again just for the sake of it. really curious to see what OYH and Eun byuls plan is though, and also Logan's
The first however, was just really harsh on the "good" people and you'll indeed notice that the antagonists will stay "on top of them" for the majority of it
