Two weeks won best action??? No love for Cruel City?
I have accepted that all sites will generally have the same results as they are based on popularity. I actually really like LJK. He was my first favorite actor and I still adore him.
Well I watched both at the same time and I ended up feeling like my opinion of Two Weeks would've been much better had I not watched Cruel City before. Sad cause I'm also a huge fan of Nell (theme song by them), and I wanted to love Two Weeks. Well both are good, but...
My opinion is that the ending...with how it loops back to how the movie started...means that Seh-hee is really…
Aside from that, the movie is an artistic piece. It is not a romance for people looking for a love story. It's only categorized as romance because it's about a couple. I thought it drove home the question of outer appearance and the inside characteristics...what makes the person who they are. Who or what do we love. The movie is supposed to make you think. Not leave feeling gushy.
My opinion is that the ending...with how it loops back to how the movie started...means that Seh-hee is really one of any of us. She's not just a character in a movie.

I really like Yoon Eun Hye but I also have been disappointed in her last dramas.
Missing You...biggest disappointment for me because I had been looking forward to it AND I loved the beginning. Then it just crashed and fell apart. Then crashed some more. I managed to finish it somehow...but I had to force myself to. I won't ever watch a horrible drama again, even for a favorite actor. I dropped Lie to Me also. :( And I have not seen Take Care of the Young Lady. Guess I won't be though. ha
I think I want to watch Our Happy Time again. xD I'm weird like that. I tend to rewatch stuff to maybe catch something I missed. Well...that is after I sleep and wake up. Have a nice day. :)

nah...I love spam. xD No really, spam away.:)
Thanks for the suggestion. I watched Confessions recently and I really enjoyed it. I'll check out some of the others when I find the time. The Flu sounds interesting and I heard about it. I really like suggestions, especially ones that aren't at the top of the MDL search.
yea...I'm not really into horror either cause usually, they're lacking in story. And they don't scare me either so I might as well watch something else.
Camellia...I downloaded it. But I believe it can be watched on dailymotion too. It's a bit strange but I finished it for KDW. And it's only 50 minutes long.
It's okay. Holiday time is always hectic. That's why I'm sticking to watching movies right now since they're quick.
I like how versatile KDW is. A lot of his roles are so different from each other but he does a really good job on all of them. And, I end up really liking the character, regardless of what he portrays.
I watched his part of Camellia (Love for Sale) without subs. I didn't understand all of it but I guess enough? heh
My favorite role of his was in...Our Happy Time. My favorite movie...I know it's going to be a weird one but I actually loved The Duelist. But I'm really into those artsy movies that I can read into and create my own story. And I thought he was crazy beautiful in that one.
I ended up dropping Mirae's Choice. After reading the recap on dramabeans, I don't regret dropping it.
Anyways, I hope you have a wonderful new year too. :)
Superb acting by all. I guess violent. But compared to some other Korean films (Oldboy, A Bittersweet Life), not as graphic. I watched this mainly because I'm a huge fan of Yeo Jin Goo's acting. That and the plot seemed interesting. Well...I came away entertained.
ahh poor Mok Dan. I felt the same way about her character. A bot too damsel in distress. Ueno Rie was awesome though.
And I liked Dok Mi. She was a more believable character than a lot of the female leads in other kdramas. They did a good job with her character being depressed but still one you want to root for.
I watched this long ago when I was going through Kim Ki-duk's films. I think I will have to watch it again with a different state of mind. Definitely a film that's more for interpretation/meaning than mere entertainment.
The ending wasn't that bad. Overall, the movie had a different way of explaining what was going on. The ending just followed that style. But it made sense to me...they just don't spell it out for you in a conventional way. Now whether the style works...well...depends on the person.
The movie has suspense. A perhaps a bit of a mystery element considering ppl seem unsure what is going on. xD
I only watched the Love for Sale part so cannot rate it. But as for that part...
Well...I saw it more as a movie that will make Kang Dong Won fans happy. As for the overall worth as a film?
Who cares about that when you got pretty KDW strapped to a bed.

Yes! I got into him recently so I've been in a movie-watching frenzy. Well, especially his movies. heh
I started Story of a Man a while ago and it seems like I will like it a lot. But I've been so tired, I haven't watched any drama in quite a while. Plus, it's a one that requires a lot of attention. Hopefully I'll get to watching it so that I can let you know.
I too thought Basketball would be like Bridal Mask. But I keep seeing bad reviews...so...I might drop it.
ahh...Thanks for the warning. I get annoyed really easily when characters act like that. I'd rather spend my time watching dramas that are worth it. Anyways, if you come across anything interesting, please let me know. :)
