Why is Kim Woo-Bin playing a supporting role ???? ..... he has just broken out, w/ soaring popularity , and lots of respect from the professionals in his field ....hhhmmmmm?!?!?!? ....
.... Just like Jang Hyuk , maybe it is a challenging role in a very special drama ? (I hope)
Why is Jang Hyuk playing a supporting role ???? .... (especially after his soaring popularity after FTLY !?!?)
there must be something special about this drama ... and it is probably a very strange character , since he likes to challenge himself...(at least that is what I am hoping)
Great as the bad-boy/bad-guy .... he always has an edge to him....
Loved him as Yelu Xie in "Young Warriors" ......
Loved him even more as 13th Prince in BBJX.
Yet another Version of the Condor Heroes !?!? .... Seriously , can't they come-up w/ some new ideas ? ... besides plots from the Classics , that is.
Is this even worth watching ?....not that I am going to any time soon anyways... since subs for C-dramas r hard to find :((
Thank you for the article referral ...It is very enlightening to see how big of a part he played in creating Gun's persona .....that he had a say even in the wardrobe ....and the creation of manga-like charcteristics but also able to inject a bit of himself into it
Loved that he gave lots of credit to Jang Na-Ra in allowing his character to go wild and then be grounded by her.... She has truly earned my respect after seeing her performance here...
btw, no matter how much I fangirl , I rarely seek info about any actor's real life.... so thanx again... :D
got a lot of recommendations to watch this... I have a feeling this is a sleeper hit , and will get more and more popular as time goes by and praise spreads thru word-of-mouth....
I love many of her work , even if some are filled w/ plenty of cliches..... she creates very memorable and interesting characters .
I don't know what happened to her in "Heirs"... I bet there was a lot of behind-the-scenes drama that the script came out so messed up .... either that , or , she became an alcoholic , and could not remember what she wrote for the previous episode , and could not make a decision as to which direction to take ...XP
This was one of my first K-dramas , as Jang Hyuk introduced me to drama-land and I wanted to watch everything he ever did....
I remember loving it and being very intrigued by the story .... captured my attention throughout !!!
However now , after being a seasoned drama-addict , I would still say that I love the story and it is captivating......But..... I am now less enthralled w/ some of the plot twists , as I have seen similar formulas used in several other dramas...
Nonetheless , whether parts are formulaic or not , it is very well executed !!! .... and for a Business drama that I would normally be very bored w/ , I found this show handled it in a very interesting way .
I don't understand how this and My Sassy Girl are related besides the actors. The story lines don't match, first…
This is NOT a sequel or a prequel to "My Sassy Girl" ! .... .... BUT...
--->>> it is the 2nd of the " Sassy Girl TRILOGY " that the Director/Writer made !!!
so it also included Gianna Jun as the leading lady , and Cha Tae-Hyun makes a Cameo in this movie (besides being BFF w/ Jang Hyuk in RL) ... the 3rd is "Cyborg She" , a Japanese movie (same director/writer) ... and Jang Hyuk has a guest role in the Japanese drama "MSG"
--->>> All 3 have a 'sassy girl' Theme .
It is not as good as MSG , but good none the less ....
I loved the concept of this drama. I really did. However, I wish they would have added a little bit more of revenge…
I agree w/ you --->>> it Lacked a little something in the Intensity --->>> it needed a bit more passion that was there but not expressed . !!! ... The ending is perfect!
Can someone please tell me what happens at the end to make it sad and it is okay if there are spoilers. I don't…
BEWARE ... Big SPOILER ALERT .....
... they die together in each others' arms ..... mainly b/c too much history b/w them to make it possible for them to be together in this life .... he started out in seeking revenge against her and slowly destroys her life .... other twists happen ---->>> which I will not say unless u want me to --->>> that made it not acceptable to be together .... although they loved each other ...
A hugely underrated drama .... good story , beautiful romance , cute and funny moments , well developed characters , and Jang Hyuk is as amazing as always .... (Not a Rom-Com)
Warning: for all those who stop b/c his character is a total jerk at first (He's a gigolo who swindles money out of unsuspecting women) .... BUT ....
---->>> the best part of the story is how he finds his way to the road of redemption !!!
the top should be... Se-Ryung in "The Princess' Man".... one of the most Courageous , Capable, Adventurous , Resilient , and Intelligent characters in a drama.
...... ....... ...... she stood up to the Most Evil king , her father !!! ...... ....... ......
she always courageously stood up for her beliefs and never backed down !!! ...even when she braved much danger , grave opposition , slavery , even put a sword to her neck .
