It has been a while since I saw it... It was after my intro to Song Seung-Heon , and subsequent crush......
I remember Liking it.... especially the character played by Lee Bum-Soo and all the Political Intrigue surrounding him.....
I found the medical stuff interesting at first , but a bit far-fetched.... The Story -Line surrounding the time travel and the Mystery behind it was also Very Interesting !
OMG !!! ... I thought the actress that played his wife looked familiar ! ... I did not recognize her ! ... It's same actress from "Haeundae Lovers" and " The Servant"...
Well , the sex scenes were better in "The Servant" ....also better in "Frozen Flower" .....
The subtitles were not very clear ... I did not understand everything , but , I understood enough...
---- It was interesting to explore these two characters ... and what would drive them to this affair
---- BUT, the movie failed to make me believe in their love at first .... It seemed more sexual attraction of two lonely people .... I did not believe it was love , the sex scenes were not affectionate enough , imo ... just sex ! ....
---- I can understand 'obsessed' , but the movie FAILED again to explore and explain his motivation ... He is understandably disturbed .... but what is his psyche that it would drive him into an obsession as solace ? .... and why her ? .....
Ok!.... I must have missed it in the 1st episode .... (Please, nobody laugh) ...what does "Hamo , Hamo"…

"Tazza" , "Thank You" are great .....
"Robbers" is grossly under-rated ... most people are offended by his character at first....he's a gigolo who coldly uses women and sucks them dry of money then leaves.... but.. the best part is how his character develops and becomes a decent human being.
"Tree w/ Deep Roots" is highly acclaimed ...it doesn't concentrate on Romance , but a great story nonetheless !
I love his films .... very different than his dramas .... he chooses artistic films a lot .... the latest "Thorn" is very riske w/ sexually explicit scenes...but excellent.
the early films like "Jungle Juice" , he plays whacky characters .....
Enjoy! ..... and observe his eyes ....so expressive....pierce the soul ! (can you tell I'm fangirling !! heheh...lol.)

It is the Nuances in his performance....like : ...a simple sweep of the neck that expressed all his yearning for her ..... ....a tender glance that managed to express all the pain of longing to keep her , to tell her the truth but is forced to smile , lie and pretend he's cool ......
Plus ... all this emotion , even when the scene is about something else besides the act that he is forced to put on --->>> ... but the Amazing actor that he is , never breaks out of character and kept that angst inside him all along .... .....
.............. always watch Jang Hyuk's eyes ! ..... so expressive !! ........ love him <3
...... it is the little things that put this show a cut above the rest ..... love it <3
Yes !!! .... I was not too sure during the 1st episode but it only got better and better .... Jang Hyuk created an entirely new personna w/ Lee Gun (the hair, the laugh, the clothes , the personality and charisma ) ... Great acting !! ... very smart writing !! ....
Forget that it is a remake of an older show and as a result it has some cliches ...

---- "Bu Bu Jing Xin (Scarlet Heart)".... excellent... lots of fun, good romance, history.
---- "Legend of the Condor Heroes" .... great....fun...same actress as "Lang Ling"
---- "Cuo Dian Yuan Yang " .....such a Pleasant Surprise !... 1st season (ep. 1-25) was Great , Awesome love story ..... ..... 2nd season (ep.26-50) also good, but the pace slowed a bit.
---- "Perfect Couple" .... Great...FUN ! .... may beat "Lang Ling" in popularity .... still only 2/3 subbed in English , so you'll have to wait a bit ... unless u can find it completely subbed (if , so...please send link)
Modern Rom-Com C-dramas:
---- "Best Time" ....Amazing acting....Amazing chemistry.... a real love ... and the lead is an Exceptional Man , rare in drama-land ....or Real-Life !!!
---- "In Time with You" .... also w/ Ariel Lin.... very good writing, acting.... and the best good-guy.
I enjoyed it, although it was the one and only drama, which I watched in tv and I missed first three episodes…
Good observation... he caught my attention also.....I would call him the second lead before Oh ji-Ho.......when I later saw him in "A Gentleman's Dignity" I could not believe it was the same person ....
But I would object... nobody can beat Jang Hyuk's portrayal as Dae-Gil ....one of the best performances in a drama... Flawess !!! ...he was nominated for an International Emmy for it ....I mean one of 6 actors from around the world !

I don't have a musical ear , but just hearing a few chords of any of the songs , I immediately recognize it even though it's been a year since I last heard it.... (they played tiny bits of a few songs from the "Chuno" OST in Jang Hyuk's new Rom-Com "Fated to Love You" ...as a gag joke on JH) ... trust me , I shocked myself when I immediately recognize them ....
the OST and the drama are so powerful they evoke strong emotional reactions immediately ....
also , me too , I fell in love w/ Jang Hyuk after watching him as DaeGil... In fact , I went in search of more of his work and that's how I became a K-drama addict....... very, very, very, few actors can live up to the standard he set since..... and very, very, very few dramas can meet the standards that "Chuno" set, as my 2nd K-drama ....

I somewhat agree ... as for Yoon Eun-Hye, she has a pretty body but her face is just OK .... She does look beautiful she's all made up ...just photogenic !
I find her appeal lies in her Personality .... ... the cool way she dresses , the slight lisp , her quirky but very natural way , etc ... .....she is ...simply COOL !!!
But I agree, she would not make my list of Physically beautiful women....
and... I also agree ... there are more beautiful actresses than the ones listed above .....it seems more a list of those 'popular' rather than 'physically beautiful'
