So , which version is on Viki ? and it is only subbed up to about ep. 17 ... the rest of the eps. are either partially subbed or not at all ....
... and .... the quality is not very good ... I was surprised at some of the fuzzy images , but it may be the cinematography ... the foreground is clear and the bckgrnd is out of focus ...

Also , what is : "The girls at wallace's intl forum..."?

I really love it , but I put it 'on hold' until I find it completely subbed somewhere :(

btw , "Perfect Couple" is not complete on Viki either .... they just added it to DramaFever , but only first 18 eps.... another wait for a good C-drama .. :(

My first time seeing her in "You're All Surrounded" ...

She has easily become one of my very top favorites among her generation of actresses (18-32 y.o.) .... She is Beautiful , Adorable , Cute and very Talented !!! .... and she has a nice curvy body ( rare among the sea of lanky k-actresses) ...

.... I have seen an array of colors : from Opaque Black to sparkly Charcoal to Translucent Brown , even a few dark Honey colored Asian eyes....

..... and the similarities to "EoE" are beyond coincidence ..... It is a definite copy (watered-down.... thus the lack of depth)

Does anyone want to comment on Lee Bum-Soo's clothes at the beginning of the show ???
The skinny cropped pants don't fit his body type at all .... I think people must have complained b/c he stopped wearing them about 1/2 way thru the show .... thank God ! -:)

How about the grandma-style flowery tops on the men ??? .... and I thought "Heirs" had the ugliest clothes (uhhhmmm....Yup... they still hold that title of ugliest clothes)...lol.

I haven't seen this many ugly clothes in dramas since the blue tuxedos and over-sized polka-dot shirts of the Crown Prince in "Goong"/"Princess Hours" (note : Yoon Eun-Hye is always fashionable !!)

("You Who came from the Stars" is the exception --- and Gianna Jun's clothes were the Most Elegant of any woman in a drama !!! )

I felt the real villains were Yang-Ha's father and Pil-Sang (the ex-husband) ...
To me , Go Bok Tae was just a gangster ...

I totally agree !! " emptier and less exciting" ... But I was impressed w/ Jaejong's acting and screen presence ... He gave the show energy.

Yes... "EoE" had flaws , mainly the fast production and the turn the plot took when Lee Da-Hae decided to leave in the middle of it ....
But I found every moment of it intriguing .... so many great characters ...
...lots of food for thought as to the price of "revenge" and the toll it takes on the person and the family ... complicated and ironic relationships w/ lots of "triangular" connections ... etc..etc...

I felt as if "Triangle" was an 'homage' to "EoE" , even w/ the names Dong-Cheol & Dong-Woo(k) ... they changed enough so as not to call it a remake and cut out all the stuff outside the 3 brothers... But by doing so , it lost its depth and excitement...-:(

Jang Hyuk is as awesome as ever !!! ... Go-Ni is a fun & memorable character !!!
.... the series was very good ... even for someone not interested in gambling (like me ) , the show held my interest entirely !!!

@samsoons ... If you liked the idea ... this is a watered-down version of "East of Eden" w/ minor changes ... but watching this does not spoil "EoE" in any way.

For the ones above , the episodes are either 45 min or 30 min. ("Best Time") .... .... .... But , T-dramas tend to drag , I agree .... along w/ the C-dramas the writers seem a little long-winded .... That's why I don' t rate T-dramas highly ... especially the Rom-Coms .
Still , the dramas above (not the rom-coms)are very original and generally more daring than K-dramas...

Yes !... your bar is set very high for a Taiwanese drama ... this is among the best Rom-Com for T-drama ...and only a few others are good ... Check out :
"Why Why Love" (imo, better than "Devil Beside You") .... "Love Now" (only saw up to ep. 42 ...but it was enough)
I would say "Fated to Love You" but the K-version (airing now) is so much better and funnier so far...

For Romantic T-Drama....I find these among the Very Best (in T,C,or K-dramas) :
"Autumn's Concerto" .... "Summer's Desire" .... "Mars"

Also , w/ the same actor in a C-drama Rom-Com : "New Modern People" ... (not as good ) but ...great chemistry b/w Chen Bo-Lin & Ivy Chen ... and funny ....

Among the best modern C-dramas Rom-Com : ...(also the good friends plot u like)
"Best Time" is a Great Romance w/ Amazing acting and Amazing chemistry b/w Wallace Chung & Janine Chang (I disliked the second plot-line at the very end ... but ignored it b/c Wallace and Janine are Amazing!) - closest to the mature writing of "In Time w/ You"
Subject u won't find in a K-drama : "Sealed w/ a Kiss"

--- I agree that Geum Jan Di is annoying .... I found her unattractive in looks and mannerisms !!!
.... Very Unlike her Japanese and Taiwanese counterparts that were Adorable , Likable and Attractive ---> i.e. Makino Tsukushi and Shan Cai .

And Geum Jan-Di is nothing like the feminine , beautiful , intelligent "P.P."

---- I disagree about the Princess Prosecutor ... I found her Cute, despite her self-centered and uncaring behavior in the beginning of the show (she does improve later)

Very , very , very few 'Rom-Coms' are not formula and don't follow cliches ...
Only a few dramas all together are not formula and have little cliches ....

Nonetheless , when it is well-written , w/ likable or interesting characters , a good pace , and good character development , .... and ..... for a 'Rom-Com' ... when it has good comedy --->> The show will end up being good !

"Princess Prosecutor" , IMO , has all the qualifications to make it a good show .... and the actors are talented and charismatic !

This is called "Princess Prosecutor" ..... so of course her character is going to act like a spoiled "princess" and be self-centered and uncaring .....
- But it was fun to watch her do those stupid things ...

Of course , there will be "Character Development" ---->>> so , she will 'Learn her Lesson' and the good in her will come out , eventually !....after all , she is very intelligent !

- Besides , she is hilarious to watch !!!

I agree ... she was self-centered and uncaring ... but Not unlikable ...
