It was great .... Nearly....

I thought ep1-22 were Perfection .... .... then, starting w/ ep 23 , I felt the writers really let me down ....too many inconsistensies!!!
....If they want a certain outcome in the plot ---->>> then they should have come-up w/ a better way to get there ... Weak, weak, lazy writing...

It's fine if Wang Yu dies, But they need a better reason, b/c Wang Yu would never ever reveal her secret .... besides 'Yom the Scum' knew (why didn't he use it at the end in bringing down the empress?)

But the one HUGE Disappointment is the secret person revealed in the last few episodes .... Utterly ridiculous!!! ... No way it could be "him"!.... A huge flaw that cannot be overlooked like the others..... seems like a patch-up job... a last minute idea/change....Weak!

P.S. .... a good job in developing the emperor's character .... right after he takes the throne, a spoiled incompetent brat wants to prove he's no weakling and believes he can leave a great legacy (yet still harbor many insecurities) .... he believes he does not need her input anymore and gravitates towards the one ingratiating himself by feeding into the Emperor's Ego and his desire to be glorified .....Great psychology !!! ...

What do you mean they changed the script around ep. 23-24???? Did something happen behind the scenes???

I think Tal-Tal should have been 'uncontrollably attracted' to her b/c she blew his mind w/ her tactical smart brain ... sespecially when she managed to outsmart/fool him once ....
Does anyone think he was attracted to her? ... .... I don't think the actor expressed love, only respect and admiration of talent.

Yea... Ji Chang-Wook earned my respect here...(although, I loved him as "Warrior Baek Dong Soo")...
Joo Jin-Mo was so perfect for the role ...one of my favs...
Of course Ha Ji-Won is great here also.

KJH...me too! He made me feel sympathy for that twisted character.... I liked him in "Queen Seondok" also .... I especially liked that at one point he tells her that he wants 'her heart'... He wasn't just lusting after her...
... a charcter I 'Love-to-Hate' ...or....'Hate-to-Love' ?!?!?!?

had very good potential ...but .... half way thru it became repetitive and the plot did not advance until the last few episodes .... disapointing .... story and acting was just So-So ....

They broke up after a few months.

re: "Best Time" i recommend you skip ep. 48 and go straight to ep. 49 ...watch ep.48 at the end .... Wallace Chung and Janine Chang are Amazing actors .....

I regret starting "Fated to Love You" b/c now I cannot stop.... I usually wait until a show finishes airing so that I can marathon it ..... But I love Jang Hyuk and was curious about the remake -:( ...

Jang Hyuk has a wonderful sense of humor that's obvious even in his dramatic roles .... if you want funny, check out his early movies :... "Windstruck" (w/ Gianna Jun) ... "Please Teach me English" .... and "Jungle Juice" ... .... ..... ..... for dramas : I think "Robbers" is very underrated and he's funny in it (even as a jerk) ..... ... Amazing acting in "Chuno" , his charcter DaeGil is Unforgettable (he was nominated for an 'International Emmy' award for it)!!! .....

Loved him as "Warrior Baek Dong Su"...... But ..... he earned my Respect as the 'Emperor' In "Empress Ki"....
He is very handsome, talented and charming ..... ......
..... I look forward to more of his work!!! .... .... .....

Very few Rom-coms make me laugh .... but I recently finished the C-drama "Best Time" and it was Great... Real romance and real comedy - no silliness ... you may enjoy it. :)
Actually, I am currently watching "Fated to Love You" and that show makes me lol... another good and funny Rom-Com -:)

They were cute together w/ some very good scenes... I especially love the dancing scene in the hospital....
But, the movie as a whole, did not move me...no 'feels'..... I just could not feel their love.... their Attraction ? Yes!....but their Love? No!

Was the K-version good? .... When I started it I was still new to K-drama-land and didn't go past 3rd episode... But now , I Love Chae Rim! ... so, Should I watch K-version first?

Honestly, I saw few episodes of "Fated to Love You" w/ Jang Hyuk but want to wait until it finshes airing b/c I hate the waiting .... so , I am very much in the mood for Jang Hyuk!

Did anyone notice the 'fighting' music from "Chuno" in the 1st episode when Jang Hyuk was getting ready to fight off the dog ?!?!?! ... ..... .... That's when I knew this is going to be funnier and smarter! ...XD

Much better than the T-version ..... Much Funnier! no silliness ... .....better Writing!....

... All the actors are better here (except for the older sister who was sexier and funnier in the T-version) ....
Hilarious how his assistant looks and dresses like his T-counterpart ... polka-dot scarf ...mwahahahah!!!
Best of all --->>> Jang Hyuk's character is so much more likable here !!! ...Plus, jang Hyuk is so much more handsome!! -:D
